  • "A fantastic property with lots of space and a good amount of seating for our large family group."

Beds were very comfortable great to have 2 en-suite rooms and everything was spotless. We also loved the hot tub. Just to note the stairs to the top floor really are steep which was fine for us but may be a consideration for others. Location was spot on for us just on the outskirts of Ulverston which is a really lovely town and well in reach of Windermere.

Thank you for such a fantastic review! We’re delighted your family enjoyed the space, comfort, and hot tub. Great to hear the location worked so well too. Thanks also for noting the stairs – that’s really helpful for future guests. We’d love to welcome you back anytime! Joshua Property Owner

  • "The house was a perfect size for my family stay."

The outside area is a good space for children and dogs. The hot tub was perfect. All the rooms were really comfortable, tastefully decorated and well organised with plenty of space for us all. The stair and hall carpets were rather stained and the woodwork could do with a touch up as it made the interior look a bit scruffy. A small cleaning issue was that one of the bedroom bins had a nappy left in it but otherwise the rooms were nice and clean. The top floor bathroom lock and the downstairs toilet door need some attention as the children got stuck which caused a little distress. I hope the neighbours weren’t affected by us as they were 10 of us, 4 of which were excited children. We all had a lovely time, thank you.

Hi Clare, Thank you for your lovely feedback. We’re so pleased Lund House was the perfect size for your family and that you enjoyed the outdoor space, hot tub and comfortable rooms. We also appreciate your helpful comments regarding the carpets, woodwork, and door locks, as well as the cleaning oversight — these will all be addressed to make sure future stays are even better. It’s great to hear you all had a wonderful time, and we’d be delighted to welcome you back in the future. Property Owner
