Cottage is beautifully renovated, comfy bed and kitchen had everything we needed.
Location is great for many places. Parking was a bit of an issue if back after 5pm. Although this property will take dogs, I’m afraid we didn’t find it suitable. Access to the garden was down a path and we had to put the dogs on leads to get them there. Not ideal first thing or late at night. Although the garden was enclosed our spaniel found 3 ways out. If we did not have dogs though, we would definately be back.

This is a really well appointed cottage. It’s recently been renovated to a really nice standard and has every amenity you will need. Kitchen comes with washing machine, dishwasher, coffee machine, fridge freezer, microwave etc. The living area is spacious and well set out. Although there’s no radio, the LG tv is a new model with all essential apps and radio channels. The enclosed garden is lovely and surprisingly big. We had a pleasant afternoon sat in the sun after a hike to Silverdale & back. There are lots of walks to find in the immediate area or canal walks from Carnforth. Parking was not a problem and the bus stop is literally one minute away. The local area has 2 pubs. The nearest is the Old School Brewery which is fantastic. There are no shops in the village - you have to go to Carnforth for anything you may need - but we got an Uber Eats delivery no problem one evening when we fancied something different. Neighbours were really pleasant which is always a bonus and there was good communication with the property owner. We will happily return here and recommend the cottage.
A really great property, very comfortable.
Comfy beds, clean bathroom and really helpful to have a washing machine. The property, including the kitchen, really did need hoovering though. It would also be so helpful to have coffee/tea available and maybe some shower gel - we would much prefer this to a bottle of wine. Thank you!
