"Property is well furnished."
Location is very good for access to supermarkets and to Morecambe Bay. There was a welcome pack of a bottle of wine, coffee, tea, biscuits and treats for the dog.

"We originally booked for 1week but had to extend our stay not a problem."
This house felt like a home from home. It was well equipped and very clean. It is situated in a very quiet close and only a 5 minute drive from the beach ( or a 20 minute walk). I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay.

"The house was as described in the pictures, with excellent facilities including a large amount of cooking utensils as well as pots and pans."
The garden was well kept, as we visited in October we didnt manage to venture out to the garden but it would be beautiful sitting out in a summer evening! It is in a quiet residential area with set parking spaces and makes an excellent base for exploring Morecambe and the surrounding areas. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again.
Thank you for your feedback. Glad to hear you had a good stay and I hope you come back to stay at a time when you can enjoy the sun-trap garden.

"No tourism information provided."
In property only fault is plunger plug in bath does not work, and wife prefers bath to shower, otherwise a very relaxing stay.
Thank you for your feedback. I decided not to include any tourist information within the property as holiday makers can resource their own places to visit online, also information on leaflets can change. I will check the issue with the bath plug, thank you for highlighting this.

"The house smelt lovely when we arrived."
Was very clean. Well equipped. The folder with all the instructions is great. Garden beautiful but we didn’t have the best weather on our stay. 10 minute walk into morecambe. Great for commuting. We had a ride out to Ambleside which was a nice village. Also went to heysham. We wished we’d booked for a longer stay. My girls were sad to go home. Definitely recommend staying at this house. Had everything we needed. Thank you for our wonderful stay!!
Thank you for your feedback. I am glad to hear you had a good holiday and everything was to your liking.

"We were very pleased with this house."
It was clean and well equipped. Being on a housing estate, it was necessary to drive when going out.
Heysham and Arnside were lovely for the coast. The pier at Morecambe was well designed. There are sandy areas, but dangerous incoming tides all along that coast.
The forest of Boland was within driving distance. Kirkby Lonsdale a delightful tradition town with a walk down to the river. The highlight for us was driving to the lake distict (an hour or so). In the summer, arrive before 9.30am to get parking in Ambleside, Bowness, Keswick or Kendal, Aera Falls etc
Thank you for your feedback and helpful tips to fellow holiday makers.

"This is a lovely home and it made our weekend away more enjoyable."
When you walk in, it smelt beautiful and was tidy as well as nicely laid out. The little box of coffee, tea etc was very much welcome after travelling. The kitchen is well stocked with equipment / everything needed to cook for yourselves - and its not too far from shops like Lidl.
There is a lovely patio to sit out in an evening, and it was so peaceful even with the Shetland ponies next door. The garden is very secure for any dogs on holiday and plenty to explore around.
You can tell alot of effort has gone into making the house into a home away from home,
Thank you for your lovely feedback, I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay at our property. We hope you return.

"This house is beautifully presented, absolutely immaculately clean and very comfortable for 2-4 guests."
We were let down with another place in the peaks right at the last minute, so ended up booking this the same afternoon and headed straight there.
On arrival, there was a welcome pack with essentials like tea, coffee, milk sachets, biscuits, though were surprised to a bottle of wine too. The kitchen is very well stocked, even supplying things you wouldn’t expect like sandwich bags, tin foil and kitchen roll.
The property is super pet friendly, with an array of pet supplies like bowls in different sizes and dog mess bags. The garden is very secure and safe for pets, and I think the artificial grass is a good call for the hire market as it’s easier to maintain for both owner and guest. There was one mess in the back garden when we arrived, but I honestly think it was a cat rather than an oversight of the owner.
The care and attention of the owners comes across with a welcome manual, intricate details often missed in rentals and the additional facilities such as an air fryer, outdoor furniture and Netflix accounts on the 3 tvs!
Morecambe is also pleasant with good hearted people, including the next door neighbours. There are ponies in the field next to the property, they really appreciate carrots and apples, we made very good friends with them.
There is only one small thing we think could be improved and that’s the mattresses, they’re very average in quality and not in keeping with the rest of the property. You can still get a good sleep, but if they were changed for something more plush then this would be a 5* property with no flaws whatsoever.
Thank you for a wonderful stay :)

"Lovely little house in a nice quiet area, at the back are lots of lovely walks for miles."
(Just look on google maps) Fabulous garden for our dogs. You think it would be noisy as on the back of a housing estate but it's not at all, very peaceful and the house is next to large fields with horses. House very clean and has everything you need (Even the air fryer- whoop). We will return as easy access to lakes from here, Kendal 35 mins etc so a great base and the prom is fab to walk dogs too. We would happily book again, only consideration for us the garden set was missing a parasol for garden (It was very sunny so we could not sit out long without shade). Thanks would recommend
So glad to hear you enjoyed your stay at our property. I do apologise as the garden furniture and parasol came after your stay, along with the rain, but hopefully if you return you will be able to enjoy the garden more next time. Thank you for your feedback.

"The house is most definitely not a cottage & not in an area that you would have a cottage."
Putting the destination description in on the advert is needed. The property itself is well presented in style , comfort and cleanliness including the garden. Our fluffy pup was safe in the garden
Thank you for your feedback, I am sorry to hear that you didn't think Sykes cottages description of the location of our property reflected what you thought, however I am glad that you enjoyed your stay and the pup too.
