The only constructive thing I would add is that I didn’t realise until the day before departure that we could use the Choices Health Club. Not being familiar to the area, I thought this was the pool onsite. We did use it on the last day and it was lovely

Usually when travelling with our dog (Chewy) we are not given the best of accommodation? So we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived and found our accommodation was of the highest standard.

We have stayed in many lodges on this site and this is the best one yet. So many lovely touches, like the homely decor and the bottle of wine and chocolate on arrival which was such a pleasant surprise. We could not have asked for a better stay apart from maybe some more agreeable weather. We would highly recommend this lodge to anyone and will definitely be back.

Was impressed with the lodge. Big, modern, comfortable open plan kitchen/diner/lounge. Lodge has 3 bedrooms... one double with a modern en-suite, and two twin rooms. There's also a modern family bathroom. All mod cons... kitchen has a built in hob/ oven, dishwasher and large fridge freezer. Great that it's dog friendly too. Would definitely recommend, and will likely return in the future.

Ideal location for exploring the lakes & countryside. Short walk to Brockholes lakes visitor centre with direct jetty access to Windermere launches so no need to use the car to get to Ambleside or Bowness.

  • "The lodge was exactly as photos stated."

Cleaned for our arrival, nice touch of wine and chocolates left (unfortunately some of the chocolate had turned white) very roomy, showers were good, dishwasher tablets provided, cleaning pack of dish cloth, rubber gloves, dish cloth etc. Great having furniture on the balcony as weather was nice. Only downside was the table in the living room, the glass corners were very sharp and 1 person drew blood when caught on the edges. Would recommend staying here. The staff on the site at Parkdean Resort were extremely helpful, could even get takeaway food from restaurant, prices very reasonable. Very enjoyable stay

Only one down side was we are all adults and unfortunately with there only being a 3 seater sofa and a 2 Seater sofa , one of us always had to sit on a dining room chair which wasn’t comfortable while watching TV on an evening . It would be ideal for adults and children but a squash for 6 adults. Other than this it is a beautiful lodge .
