Laughing Duck is a modern and spacious holiday lodge nestled in a peaceful cul-de-sac within the wooded Langdale area of White Cross Bay Holiday Park, just moments from the shores of Lake Windermere.

Named after the friendly ducks that often gather on the deck, this charming retreat offers a warm welcome to couples, families, and their four-legged friends.

Sleeping six guests across three beautifully presented bedrooms, the lodge features a bright and airy open-plan living space with a well-equipped kitchen, dining area, and comfortable lounge.

After a day exploring the fells, unwind in the private hot tub on the large decked terrace, surrounded by nature and birdsong.

The master bedroom boasts a king-size bed and en-suite shower room, while the two additional rooms—one with full-size singles and one with narrower singles—are ideal for children or friends.

A stylish family bathroom completes the accommodation.

White Cross Bay offers a host of on-site facilities including a bar and restaurant with dog-friendly outdoor seating, a children’s play area, and access to jetties and a marina.

Please note that some amenities such as the pool, gym, and entertainment may incur additional charges.

Just 500 yards away, Brockhole Visitor Centre provides a fantastic day out with gardens, a café, boat hire, and the Tree Top Trek adventure course.

The twin towns of Windermere and Bowness are within easy reach, offering a variety of shops, cafés, and pubs, as well as boat trips across the lake.
