  • “The lodge was in a lovely quiet position, and as soon as we arrived and looked inside, we could tell we would have a great holiday.”

It had everything we needed, and was well equipped. It was very clean, which is always important. Sanitiser and hand wash were provided. We would definitely recommend, and would not hesitate to come back to this lodge again. Added bonus, was the views and it being our first time to the Lake District, the scenery was stunning. Thank you for making a great holiday.

Nestled in a tranquil position on Limefitt Holiday Park, a stone's throw away from the lakeside town of Windermere, rests this traditional wooden holiday home, Lavender Lodge.

Recently refurbished by the new owners (awaiting new photos), Lavender lodge is set on one level and boasts a homely interior full of character.

This delightful property promises a wonderful retreat for a small family looking to the explore picturesque landscape of The Lake District.

Ascend the wooden steps onto the decked area, enveloping the lodge and providing a sociable space to unwind with a glass of wine after a fun-filled day, and step inside the open-plan living space, beautifully designed with traditional wooden furnishings, providing a homely atmosphere.

The large space boasts a cosy seating area gathered in front of the fire, inviting you to nestle in and escape into the pages of a captivating book for a short while, before heading to the kitchen to prepare a heart warming meal as you gather the family around the dining table to indulge in some long-overdue quality time together, recapping on the days events and planning your next adventure.

When sleep calls, prepare for bed with a relaxing soak in the bath, soothing your muscles after a busy day exploring your breath-taking surroundings on foot, before tucking the kids up in the twin bedroom and heading to the double room, benefiting from it's own en-suite basin and WC, to rest your head.

You'll have everything you need to cater for your holiday on the park itself, where you can make use of the on-site facilities and pick up any forgotten essentials from the convenience store, or unwind with a refreshing drink or indulge in a bite to eat at the bar.
