"We have stayed at Limefitt Park on numerous occasions over the years but this was out first stay at Nutkins Lodge and I can honestly say this is the best lodge on the park."
From its prime location to the comfortable, super clean interior. It has everything you need provided and the welcome pack was a lovely surprise. Even our dog was provided for with the treat jar and the doggy towel. We loved every minute of our stay and cannot wait to book again.

"Lovely break at this fabulous lodge."
(Positive) feedback…
Front door needs some WD40 as it’s a little temperamental.
Instructions for appliances would be helpful however we did eventually find the oven ones in the bottom drawer, would be better in the welcome folder.
Might be an idea to warn about the steps for older guests?
Please take these as super minor things, the overall presentation and welcome pack was fabulous, great to have included the items for a dog too, would happily book this lodge again.

Along with our maintenance team here at Nutkins, we personally assessed the front door and could not find a squirrel of a sound when opening and closing it but thank you for highlighting this as we will monitor it. Instructions for appliances are kept next to said appliances in the kitchen so we are pleased you located these. Regarding steps leading to the property, we have gone to great lengths to ensure these are shown clearly in pictures and mentioned in the description details. We have checked both desktop and mobile links and can see the access stated clearly. We are pleased you enjoyed the welcome pack and all the dog treats. "Lovely stay for a birthday treat."
The lodge is as described with everything you need set in a beautiful location. Lovely welcome pack and treats for our pooch. We had a lovely time.
Unfortunately it rained everyday apart from birthday but staying inside this lovely lodge journaling, reading and watching films was lovely.
Only downside we got a little chilly at times and the onsite restaurant food was mediocre and not really value for money. However with lots of other lovely places to eat in Windermere it was no biggie.
All in all would recommend this lodge to everyone. One of the best locations on the site by far.

We totally agree that the location is indeed beautiful. We strive to ensure guests are comfortable during the Winter and early Spring months and find the Nest heating dial which is located and labeled in the kitchen, easy to use when you require that convenient boost of warmth. Coupled with the many throws provided, we hope you had a toasty time in the end. The Haybarn Inn on-site caters for a wide variety of palate and has a renewed varied menu. Windermere, Bowness and Ambleside are a short drive away for further culinary options so we are pleased you found a lovely place to eat. If we are fortunate to see you at Nutkins again in the future, we can not recommend the Mortal Man or Queens Head in Troutbeck enough. All of which we hope you found in the Welcome Pack Information. "Absolutely gorgeous lodge."
Great location & such a stunning set up. Cleanliness & comfort were off the scales.
My only 'tiny' concern was there was no hairdryer (or I couldn't find one) - which just suprised me as it literally had everything else you could possibly wish for.
Love the place though & would return.

"Really enjoyed our stay at Nutkins Lodge it was like a home from home."
Upon arrival the Lodge was decorated for Xmas along with a lovely hamper full of goodies which we thought was a really thoughtful touch

"Absolutely beautiful lodge in amazing surroundings."
The lodge had everything that you could possibly need. You could tell that a lot of thought had gone into fitting it out with some lovely touches to make it feel cosy & homely. Would definitely recommend and would love to return.

"Beautiful well equipped lodge with the benefit of having the best location on the park."
So peaceful, scenic and the lodge was immaculate, providing everything for a lovely home from home stay. Sitting outside watching the river flow by was truly lovely and the fabulous view from the kitchen window made washing up a pleasure.

"A very comfortable and spacious lodge with a great location."
Being able to walk from the door into stunning lakeland fells is a real bonus. The lodge has been very tastefully decorated, has every utensil and piece of crockery you might need, and is light and airy, making it a delight to stay here even when raining. The decking area looks down over the river and is a lovely space to sit and relax when the sun comes out. The beds were very comfortable too.
