This property is part of the Lake District Lodge Holidays collection.
From the moment you arrive in the Lake District there is a huge choice of activities and things to see as you take in Britain’s latest World Heritage Site – it’s the only National Park to be recognised for such status.

The property

Ramblers Rest is situated in the Pinewood area of Limefitt Park, in the Troutbeck Valley.

This beautiful traditional lodge benefits from magnificent views of the surrounding fells and is also in a delightful location on the park.

This lodge can sleep 4 guests plus and infant in a travel cot so is ideal for couples or families looking for a peaceful getaway.

Ramblers Rest is a styled with pine clad internal walls which offer a traditional woodland cabin feel.

The full length picture window and open plan means this lodge has a bright and airy interior.

Socialise together after a day walking the fells or exploring nearby villages by sitting out on your own decking area with a nice glass of wine!

Additionally this lodge has its own unlimited broadband connection so you have everything for a perfect stay.

Limefitt Park is in a stunningly secluded location only four miles away from the busy village of Windermere.

Here you’ll enjoy nature and lovely views, and the Trout Beck running through the park.

There’s a pub on site, a small shop and children’s playground.

Nearby is The Queens Head, and round the corner is the Mortal Man, both traditional old pubs with log fires offering a warm welcome.

Drive up over the spectacular Kirkstone Pass, then drop down and you’ll see Brotherswater – around seven miles from the Park.

Continue toward the beautiful Ullswater and the hamlet of Glenridding for more great pubs, shops, Ullswater Steamers and amazing walks.

Here you can start the ascent of Helvellyn, or the Ullswater Way which now goes all the way round this beautiful lake.

What more could you ask for a Lake District break away from it all?
