  • “Lodge set in a lovely, peaceful location which was not too far away from places to visit.”

On site reception and pub was an added bonus. Bar staff friendly and accommodating. safe and secure site

On site reception and pub was an added bonus. Bar staff friendly and accommodating. safe and secure site The lodge itself was well equipped and a good size, the hot tub made it more enjoyable to stay. The only thing I would comment on is the stained sofas which we covered with throws and the uncleanliness of cutlery and glassware which we needed to wash before use. Other than that a lovely holiday. :-)

Thank you for your feedback, we are pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for your comments regarding the sofa, we are aware of the stains. Due to the back to back bookings, they have been professionally cleaned but we cannot do much more until there is a break in bookings. We are sorry to hear the cutlery and glassware were dirty, we do rely on the previous guests to an extent to ensure they clean the cutlery properly but this has been passed to our cleaning services manager who will remind the cleaner of their responsibility to check these items. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience caused. That said, we do hope this did not impact your stay too much and that you will return in the future. - Sykes owner relations
