  • "Location really good for families and couples."

    Accommodation beautiful views of the lake. Lodge layout fabulous, however the cleanliness of the lodge very poor . What the cleaners get paid for i do not know. Cobwebs everywhere, under the couch was disgusting bits of food , crisp packets a biscuit box and crumbs. Under the beds thick dust not acceptable. I was very disappointed with the cleanliness .

  • "We absolutely loved our time here, the lodge was ideal plenty of space and very clean."

    Almost right on the lake we had a great view of the lake. We didn’t use the park facilities very much just a couple of nights in the restaurant. We used the bus which the stop is right outside the park to go up and down the lake to all the other lakeside towns it was ideal and no expensive at all. We will definitely consider coming back again.

  • "Booked for a gift to my parents."

    Over the moon with the lodge. Super clean, decorated to high spec, perfect location just about over-looking the lake & 5 minutes walk to the reception/ pub/ swimming. The site is ideally located comfortable driving distance to everywhere you could want to visit. I’ve stayed in lodges before none of which have been this nice & again super clean!! It was such a relief as I’ve had some questionable experiences in the past with lodges. Beds super comfortable. Lovely showers & bath,Lush & quiet. No problems at all. It rained almost the full time, can’t complain for the lakes in February & due to my health, I spent a lot of time in the lodge, more than some might & it was a pleasure. A real treat. We would love to return. Thank you so much. Please never let your standards slip & you’ll always have a full booking diary, I’m sure. ☺️

  • "We were very pleased with the lodge."

    The electrical appliances were all good quality. The mattress topper on the main bed made it very comfortable. The pillows were good as was the duvet & bedding. Plenty of utensils, crockery etc. The table & chairs were nice too. The curtains & blinds were all good quality. Everything was pleasing, Thanku

  • "Lodge nice position surface clean could do with a deep clean found half used tub of cream under bed!"

    ! There were tea stains down nest of tables. Tiles wiped but not cleaned as such. Overall ok could do better for the money. There was a note that the high chair someone had rented would be picked up never was!! We left on a Friday had email to say we had damaged the railing outside on decking absolute rubbish we never went out there as poured of rain whole time we were there. A picture was sent which was a joke. They took £80 out of our account. Still waiting on this as being ignored now. This is now being looked into by professionals to help us will not book or recommend with you again!!

    Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. I’m pleased you liked the position of the lodge, but I’m sorry to hear there were aspects that didn’t meet your expectations. I do need to clarify a couple of points you’ve mentioned. The high chair is our own and is kept inside the lodge for guests to use — it is not hired externally and therefore would never be collected. Regarding the decking railing: this was reported immediately after your departure and was photographed by the site team with time‑stamped before‑and‑after evidence. I appreciate that you dispute this, but unfortunately the damage was present and documented. As Sykes manage our property, they are handling the matter directly and have already been provided with the full set of photographs and timings. I’m sorry that your stay wasn’t what you hoped for, and I do take all feedback seriously. Emma Property Owner

  • "Amazing lodge, wonderful position on park."

    Sofas and beds really comfortable and bedding and towels lovely and clean. Stayed here before and this is why we came back. Could have been cleaned better by the cleaners as it was not to the standard when we first stayed. Not sure if new cleaners employed? Will definitely return as overall a fabulous stay :-)

  • "Lodge was amazing."

    Beds very comfortable. Extremely well fitted out in terms of equipment. Central heating worked perfectly (not used much as weather great), plenty hot water when needed. External decking was brilliant and allowed our two kids to play safely. Sited near to the marina. Park very well maintained and great facilities. We will be back.

    I have never been in such a well equipped lodge for families and children! The added first day contact from yourselves and the owner is a nice touch! Bedding and beds are lovely!   • "Absolutely beautiful Lodge."

    Lounge area sofa very comfortable and kitchen well equipped. Bedrooms and beds where amazing !! Bedding was high quality and beautiful. View from the lounge and outside sitting area was fantastic and straight onto the lake and even better you are not overlooked which is rare in most lodges. Would highly recommend this Lodge and will most certainly be returning.

  • "We had a fantastic stay at white cross bay, stopping for 3 nights with the family."

    The site itself is right on the the waters edge, perfect location and views from the lodge are fantastic. 2 minutes walk to the site shop, bar, swimming pool and play parks which was ideal! The lodge itself is spacious, stylish and was spotless. Even has games/toys for rainy days! Overall fantastic place to stay, can’t wait to book up again!

  • "This is a beautiful lodge in a lovely location."

    We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return. The whole lodge is really well equipped, everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, and lots of thoughtful extras like picnic bag and blanket and toys etc. All the furnishings and bedding are really good quality and everything felt quite luxurious. The decked area has a nice big table and chairs and it's such a nice peaceful setting overlooking the lake. Great location too for getting out and about.

Waterside Lodge is a stunning lakeside retreat in the heart of the Lake District National Park, overlooking the serene Windermere Lake at White Cross Bay Holiday Park Cumbria.

Park Rules and Operations – White Cross Bay

White Cross Bay has its own onsite facilities. You will need to purchase a complex pass from reception which includes the use of the pool, entertainment and access to bar and restaurant. The prices are subject to change by park management.

All holiday parks are owned and managed by a separate company to ourselves. Lake District Lodge Holidays has no association with the owners of these parks or responsibility for the provision of services they offer. At certain times of year, there maybe a reduction in those services, which is outside of our control.

Commercial vehicles, caravans, camper vans, Hen or Stag parties are not permitted onsite. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times and are not be left alone in the lodges at any point during your stay.

You will be staying on an operational holiday park, which means work may be undertaken from time to time by the park owners during your stay. Although Lake District Lodge Holidays will always try to inform guests in advance if something may impact on a stay and if we have prior knowledge. We cannot be held responsible or accept any liability for park operations of which are outside of our control and which we have no knowledge of.
