A very comfortable and tastefully decorated cottage which was well-equipped.
We appreciated all of the little extras like the welcome basket, shampoo and conditioner etc. We don’t have a dog but if we did, it would have been well thought of with dog treats and bowl provided. The home owners have thought of everything!

It is comfortable, stylishly decorated with modern appliances and luxurious bath towels! It is situated in a quiet village just outside the national park, but well placed to access the northern lakes and the beautiful Cumbrian coast. We had wonderful walks around Crummock Water, Ennerdale lake, in Whinlatter Forest, and along the coast path to St Bees. Nearby Cockermoutn has good places to eat and sight seeing opportunities. A great place to stay if you want to avoid the very busy areas of the Lakes.
Lovely property, had everything we needed,very clean, we have relatives who live nearby so may stay again.
