About the location

The village of Dalston sits within the Carlisle district of Cumbria, historically part of Cumberland. In the village square lies the red sandstone church of St Michael's, dating back to the 13th century, whilst Dalston Hall is a magnificent Grade II listed building full of character and landscape gardens, which is often used as a wedding venue.
