The property

Easthwaite Cottage is a delightful hideaway offering a quiet, rural escape on a working farm, set in the beautiful Wasdale valley, on the Western edge of the Lake District National Park.

Perfect for couples or small families, this charming property promises a true escape to the countryside.

Arrive to find off-road parking before stepping inside to a welcoming interior where rustic charm meets modern convenience.

The heart of the home is the living/dining area, where an electric fire adds a gentle warmth, creating a snug setting for evenings spent chatting over a glass of wine or planning tomorrow’s adventures.

The utility area space is ideally positioned for taking off any mucky boots and rambling attire after a day on the mountains.

The kitchen is well-equipped for crafting home-cooked meals, while two inviting bedrooms, a double and a twin, provide spaces to rest after a day of exploration.

Outside, the garden offers a peaceful spot to soak up panoramic views of the surrounding fells.

If you don't fancy cooking, wander across the road to The Saw Mill Cafe for a hearty breakfast and coffee before you venture out for the day.

Lace up your boots and venture straight from the doorstep into a world of scenic walks, the majestic Wast Water is a short walk away and offers the perfect spot to enjoy a paddleboard or simply admire the view, for the more adventurous, Scafell Pike can be reached at the top of the valley and afterwards reward yourself with refreshments at The Wasdale Head Inn.

The local area of Gosforth is a traditional village hosting a shop and pub, as well as the oldest and tallest Viking Cross in England, whereas nearby Seascale provides a marvellous way to explore the coast and catch some amazing sunsets across the golden sands.

Easthwaite Cottage offers the perfect base for your unforgettable holiday in rural West Cumbria.

Note: This property has a refundable Good Housekeeping bond of £100.
