Description

Lake It Easy is an inviting single-storey lodge near Troutbeck Bridge, Cumbria, featuring open-plan living, furnished decking, and off-road parking for two cars, all within reach of the shores of Lake Windermere. Set within White Cross Bay holiday park, this three-bedroom retreat makes an appealing base for families or friends eager to fill their days with Lake District adventures.

Step inside and let the open-plan living space become the backdrop to time spent together. Rustle up breakfast in the kitchen before mapping out the day's activities around the dining area, or return after an afternoon beside the lake to gather for dinner. Afterwards, settle into the sitting area and choose a film on the Smart TV. When the weather beckons, take drinks outside to the decking and sit among the fresh Cumbrian air as another day draws to a close. Three bedrooms await, including a double with its own en-suite shower room and two twins, while a separate shower room serves the rest of the group.

Nearby Windermere offers opportunities to explore Lake Windermere, before heading into Bowness-on-Windermere to discover The World of Beatrix Potter or board a lake cruise for a different perspective on the landscape. Make for Ambleside and explore this gateway to the surrounding fells, or arrive by boat as part of a day spent travelling across the water. Families can also visit Brockhole Lake District Visitor Centre, where the Treetop Trek adds an adventurous twist to the itinerary.

Back at White Cross Bay, a restaurant, indoor swimming pool, marina, amusement arcade, and outdoor play areas offer even more ways to spend the day.

For lakeside adventures shared with your favourite people, make Lake It Easy your Cumbrian base.
