Arrive and wander into the open-plan living space, where the kitchen, dining area, and sitting area sit side by side for easy holiday living. After a day outdoors, the electric fire adds a gentle glow while you settle in with a brew and map out tomorrow’s plans. The kitchen is set up for laid-back self-catering, featuring a gas hob, oven, microwave, and fridge/freezer, catering to everything from quick breakfasts to unhurried suppers, while the dishwasher ensures a swift clean-up. A useful utility space provides extra room for everyday holiday essentials and, with a TV nearby, evenings indoors can be as simple as watching a film and sharing a snack. When it’s time to wind down, choose between two inviting bedrooms, both with TVs. The double bedroom comes with an en-suite walk-in shower, offering extra privacy, while the twin room is perfect for children or friends. A separate bathroom with a bath and shower over is on hand for a steamy soak after long walks or a quick rinse before you head out.

Very comfortable accommodation.
Brilliant location , enjoyed our stay.
A few maintenance issues, but the main gripe was having no wi fi this lodge relied on the parks Wi-Fi which was awful complained to the park but all they would say was come to bar and restaurant for a signal
The place was beautiful had everything you needed and more only on tiny thing and that the quilt was a big thick on bit to warm on the night time a summer on would of been perfect

With attractions like The World of Beatrix Potter to consider visiting and plenty of places to eat and drink dotted around the town, here you can also hop on the Windermere Ferry and take a tour of England’s largest lake.
Also nearby is the popular tourist town of Ambleside, a place that’s long been a hotspot for holidaymakers, here you’ll find historic buildings and winding streets packed full of great places to eat, drink and shop, as well as attractions like the Armitt Library and Museum that’s dedicated to preserving local history.
