The bungalow at 46 Church St

Our second visit to the Bungalow,and we enjoyed it just as much as the 1st.

Great little place for a base to explore the area.

Very comfortable accommodation and owner lives across the lane, which is helpful if any queries arise. Friendly local pubs, station less than 5 minutes walk (a real bonus) and even an eco shop round the corner. Only issue we had was Sykes not passing on our messages to the owner, so we had a double bed instead of 2 singles, and paid extra for a dog we didn’t take.

Overall well equipped a couple of minor gaps in facilities eg oven gloves would have been useful.

Beds comfortable and bungalow lovely and warm. Parking is good. Would stay again.

What a find, felt like a home from home.

The location was perfect, easy access to local amenities, surrounding countryside walks and main towns. A lot of thought had been put into this newly renovated bungalow, had everything we need, warm and very comfy beds and dog friendly, our Basil loved it. Parking available and the owner was on hand if we needed him, very nice kind gentleman. The information booklet provided was excellent and so was the selection of the welcome to the bungalow goodies. Will definitely be staying again, thank you for a wonderful stay Jim. Until next time

It was perfect and clean and very comfortable.

I loved that it had everything you could need- even a washer and dryer.. ironing board.. etc.

This for us this was a magnificent bungalow tucked away from the main road,fitted and equipped with everything you could possibly want in a holiday home,the beds are super comfy,bathrooms are well finished,and great secure parking,we'd love to come back,and would recommend all day everyday!

A gem of a place to spend time ,we were new to the area and despite the weather were able to get out and about and visit places nearby .

The property was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. I do think a visitors book would be helpful as guests could share their views on nearly places to eat/drink and visit. Would love to visit again if we were in the area. Highly recommended.

The Bungalow is spotlessly clean, very comfortable and recently built.

It's very well equipped, and having two bathrooms was wonderful. There is an excellent pub nearby and a very good restaurant five or ten minutes walk down the road. We would definitely stay there again.

The bungalow is beautifully decorated, clearly a new property and time has been taken to get the decor just right.

The bedrooms are both a good size, showers lovely. The open plan living area is stunning. No complaints although both toilet seats were loose, it isn’t summer but we would’ve benefited from a table and chairs outside. The parking wasn’t clear, we parked right outside the property, there was a drive opposite which we thought could’ve been parking but it could do with a sign if that’s for use. The bin hadn’t been emptied in the en suite, no major issue for us but others may not be to pleased. All in all we would recommend and would stay again. Thanks for a great weekend.

Excellent property, only downside was toilet seats were both loose.

Also there was no patio furniture. Draw for cutlery need a sign or similar.

What a lovely cottage.

Beautifully clean and furnished to a high standard. The owners have really thought of everything and there are some lovely extra touches that made the stay more enjoyable. This house had everything we needed and more for our weekend stay. The owners were lovely and had we needed anything were available. We were using the house as a base for a weekend of Radio2 party in the park and chose Adlington because of the railway station. We visited three of the village pubs and were welcomed in all. I would certainly recommend The Bungalow.

What an amazing place.

Our stay was fmdue to home renovation and we couldn't want for more. The Bungalow was spotless the bed was huge the choclates left me heavier. Jim is an amazing host and went out of his way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We went in as strangers and left as friends. Thank You Jim for all the help and advice and feel free to pop in as you pass

I love this place, I didn’t want to leave.

This was such a brilliant find for me, I come here most weeks to visit family, it’s beautiful! It had everything I needed for my stay, comfortable the owner has thought of everything. I will definitely be booking this place again.

Delightful home, very nicely decorated to high spec throughout and relaxing to stay in.

We would definitely come back again.
