  • "The court is a fabulous place to spend some relaxing time."

The property has been renovated really well with lots of quirky features . Really well laid out , great equipment and lots of little thoughtful touches from the owners . It was lovely to have a welcome pack and delicious freshly baked local bread and the communication from the owners both before and during our stay was first class. Great location and pubs , coop and shops a very short walk , we would definitely recommend

  • "An absolutely beautiful property renovated to such a high standard."

We love staying here and stayed in the Magistrates Chambers last year and tried the Court this time. Liked it so much we rebooked straight away! We were looking for somewhere to stay which would be a “good base” and this is now our yearly go to accommodation/location, Fiona is super friendly and quickly answers any queries you may have. Looking forward to next year already

  • "The Court is without doubt one of the best places we have ever stayed in: a great concept, ( the building is an old magistrate’s court and each flat has its previous use as a design theme), beautifully put together and very well equipped."

We (obviously) did spend a lot of time out and about, but it was always with the thought of that we would be going back to such lovely apartment. Cannot recommend it highly enough….and it was nice to hear the cock crowing each morning from next door. Not an intrusive sound: a lovely enhancement.

  • "Superb place to stay, the Court was amazing, inside the rooms were done to a very high standard and the incorporation of some of the old court features that make up the main room which includes the kitchen, dining area and lounge was more than we expected."

Both bedrooms, 1 on each floor were spacious with large windows providing lots of light and they both came with their own en suite bathrooms. Located close to Ingleton it was ideal for our 3 night stay and will definitely look to stay here when next visiting.

  • "First class high quality accommodation."

Very thoughtful, creative and respectful refurbishment of an amazing old building. Kitchen perfectly well stocked for all cooking requirements (everything looks brand new!). The second bedroom is on an upper level which adds to a great feel of space, as each bedroom and bathroom feels like your own wee private “suite”. Spotlessly clean throughout.. Overall, highly recommend.

  • "The Court is a wonderful apartment."

It exceeded my expectations. It's location in Ingleton is ideal. Less than a 5 minute walk to the centre of the town and just a 10 minute walk to the Waterfall Trial entrance. I highly recommend the Court.

  • "Arriving on Friday evening we were able to park right outside and easily get into the properly."

On entry to the hallway of the building, we were taken back by how well the old building has been restored. After making our way upstairs we were very pleased to see that all our needs were catered for. A delightful hallway for us to take off our boots and hang our jackets, before entering into the double height living space with original features (even the old dock) lovingly restored and modernised all of which are tastefully done. The kitchen is very well-equipped, if eating in you have absolutely everything you need. Once we have had gathered our bags, we explored the bedrooms, which I must say are a delight. Very luxurious and both with high spec ensuite facilities. The bed was very grand and comfortable with quality linens. Everything was very in keeping with the restoration of the old building but there are tasteful modern touches everywhere. From TV’s in living and sleeping areas to USB sockets for phone charging. Once we were settled we made the 2-minute walk into the centre of the village and had a couple of drinks, returning to eat at the lovely dining table. On the Saturday we walked out to the falls which is a quick jaunt down through the village before heading up on a very scenic walking route which bring you back down into the village enjoy one of the several pubs and good food establishments. Although we were rained on, we found getting back to the court house nice and easy as the hallway of both the main building and the hallway to the accommodation has matts and boot storage making it an easy and comfortable place to get back to. The building itself is stunning, inside and out. The scale of the place is magnificent. With the building being so solid there was no noise heard from the other spaces. We really got the feeling of complete comfort and privacy. It was great value for money given both the location and quality of the accommodation . 5+ stars. We will be booking another stay.
