High View Meadows is a beautiful apartment, set over the first and second floors, tucked away on the outskirts of Kirkby Lonsdale, Lancashire.

Continue through to find the second bathroom with walk-in shower, a spacious double bedroom with access to the balcony and a large twin bedroom, ideal for catching up on some much-needed rest and both overlooking idyllic countryside views.
Upstairs you will find a tastefully decorated master suite with a double bed overlooking the open countryside, a walk-in wardrobe and well-appointed bathroom with bath and separate shower giving you space to freshen up before a night's slumber or the next morning adventure.
The property benefits from an allocated off-road parking space, as well as a generous balcony with furniture, perfect for alfresco dining with a backdrop of stunning views.
A mile away, visit the attractive town of Kirkby Lonsdale, where you can sample local ales at the Kirkby Lonsdale Brewery, dine at the Botanica, The Snooty Fox and Avanti; stock up on essentials at the convenience store, explore the weekly charter market which takes place every Thursday, and the beauty spot of Devil’s Bridge which stretches across the River Lune.
For scenic hikes and bike rides, the Yorkshire Dales National Park is right on your doorstep, where you’ll find the renowned Ingleborough mountain peak with exceptional views at its top, the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail and the fascinating Cautley Spout - England's highest cascade waterfall above ground.

A lovely week spent at High View Meadows.
The apartment is in a beautiful setting, with all amenities required. Beds were nice and comfy, just a really relaxing and cosy place. We loved waking up to seeing the sheep and cows in the fields and spotted lots of different birds. Good base for going further. Kirkby Lonsdale is just a short walk if you want to brave a small section of the main road. Would definitely recommend and will keep an eye out for rebooking in the future.
We had a fabulous 10 days at Highview Meadows and couldn’t have wished for a better stay.
The apartment is beautiful, spacious, comfortable and clean, and the hosts have truly thought of everything to make your stay as relaxing and stress-free as possible. We absolutely loved the breathtaking views, and the lovely weather meant we were able to make the most of the terrace. The children were particularly excited to spot sheep, cows, rabbits, the garden robot and even a hot air balloon! The location is perfect for exploring the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, the coast and Lancaster, making it a wonderful base for our family holiday. We’re so grateful for such a lovely stay and really hope to return one day. Thank you for everything!
High Meadows is situated just a 5 minute drive from Kirkby Lonsdale and has a lovely quiet rural location with amenities, such as a large Booths supermarket, close by.
It’s ideally situated for getting out to South Lakes, Yorkshire Dales, Arnside or just exploring the Lune valley. The complimentary tray with various bits and a bottle of wine and the owner popping in to see us on the day we arrived was a friendly touch and much appreciated. The visitor book was very thorough with instructions, contact numbers, places to eat, emergencies, suggested routes for walking etc, etc. During the week the owner was also quick to respond to a couple of questions. Everything was clean and well equipped kitchen for self-catering. We had a great week of weather and sitting on the balcony after a walk with a ‘glass of something’ and watching the sheep was really relaxing and I would certainly book again. Thank you for such a lovely holiday accommodation.
