Small but very comfortable cottage right in the centre of Malham.

Would definitely book it again.

We couldn't fault it, everything we could have wanted was there.

Exactly as listed and excellent communication with Rachel (owner) prior to arrival and during our stay. Property has everything you need for for 2 people and a small dog and was immaculately clean. Bed and seating were very comfortable. We would happily recommend and hope to stay again :-)

The Threshing Floor at Tennant Barn was a perfect location for exploring Malham and the Yorkshire Dales.

The accommodation was warm and comfortable. The sound of the brook flowing past a tranquil background soundtrack and the small outside courtyard a great place to enjoy a cuppa a pleasing distance from the hustle and bustle of the village street across the brook. There are a multitude of walks from the village to suit all abilities.

The property was exactly as described and everything was supplied.

The heating was on and working all the time. We would recommend to any couple wanting a comfortable getaway.

We loved the location,plenty of walks to go on ,and plenty of places to sight see in the car.

The cottage was lovely and it was a nice suprise to see that you left everything to get us started: tea coffee sugar milk biscuits, even dog treats and bowls. We had a lovely stay and would recommend to anyone looking for a walking holiday with the dog. Very close to two pubs, so after a days walking nice to go and chill out with a drink. Thank you

Everything you need is provided, although we found the settee a little uncomfortable as it was low and rather soft.

We had a lovely, dry October week in this extremely comfortable, clean and well equipped barn conversion.

There was ample storage in the hall for coats and boots and for clothes etc in the bedroom. It was great to be in the centre of Malham with its facilities and be able to walk out straight from the door and enjoy the fantastic scenery. The local walking route map provided was very useful and so we filled most of our week without using the car. Perfect.

I had a lovely week at the Threshing Floor in Malham.

Malham is a great location and the Pennine Way runs right by the door. Malham Cove, Malham Tarn, Gordale Scar and Janet's Foss are all within a short distance (The Tarn is a little further) The accommodation is much bigger than it looks in the pictures, which really don't do it justice. A comfortable, cosy, lounge area with lovely, seating leads to the kitchen space. The kitchen is well appointed with full size oven, hob and large fridge freezer. Pretty much all of the utensils you could need are there. There is a corridor to the bedroom which is very large, lots of storage. The bed is Super-king size and very comfy! The en suite has a powerful shower and is nicely finished. Parking outside the door was a bonus and was big enough for my 5m+ long car. Pubs in Malham are good as is the small cafe. Enjoyed it a lot. Would stay again if I went back to Malham. Only tiny gripes were that the toilet was hard to flush and the frying pan was not fit for use!

A lovely clean accommodation.

Perfect location for us. Everywhere clean and immaculate. . Nice pubs restaurants good beer good food. Lots if walks from the accommodation without having to travel in car. Very dog friendly place. Highly recommended.

Very comfortable accommodation with everything you could need.

The bed was particularly excellent. The owners are very helpful and quick to respond if you have any queries or concerns. Malham is a nice village with walks and the Pennine way on your doorstep. Lovely pub with great food and beer just 2 minutes walk away. There is a small shop but very limited in what it sells and only opens after 10:30, and not every day, so make sure you are well stocked. Very close to Settle if you are partial to train rides where you can enjoy the famous train route from Settle to Carlisle going over the Ribblehead viaduct . Would certainly recommend staying here.

The location in the village was great, nice to be able to walk out with the dog.

Going to Malham Cove before everyone else was nice too. The cottage was bigger then I expected from the photos. The only thing I would have lived was a hoover to give a quick clean before leaving, particularly as I had a dog with me.

We had a lovely stay at The Threshing Floor at Tennant Barn despite the unsettled weather.

Everything provided that we could need. Large comfy bed and lots of storage. Kitchen area was ideal with quality appliances. Malham is a lovely village with lots of lovely walks from the doorstep. Many thanks for the Milk, biscuits, tea and coffee on arrival and also biscuits for our dog. The outside hose pipe came in handy to wash our dog down on the rainy days. Would like to stay again one day.

Really enjoyed our stay lovely pleasant and clean cottage in a great location.

The only improvement would be whilst the courtyard is in a sunny position it lacks colour as in pots of plants and would also be good to have access to a firepit.

We had the perfect stay at the Threshing Floor at Malham.

The location was fantastic. The Threshing Floor itself was immaculately clean, well equipped, comfortable and a perfect size for both of us and our dog. The information provided on walks in the areas was so helpful, and definitely worth taking out and about. Thank you for providing such lovely accommodation. We will certainly be booking to stay again. Thanks for the biscuits and milk on arrival too!

A fantastic week despite a major technical hitch.

Rachel & Max (our hosts) provided excellent support and did rectify our problem very quickly; thank you to all involved. This is a very cosy cottage in an ideal location. It was lovely to enjoy a variety of walks straight from the cottage and the local pubs are brilliant. Remi (our black lab) loved his welcome pack and we will certainly book again.

Lovely accommodation in a beautiful village.

The cottage is extremely comfortable and the bed is huge. We slept so well while we were there and were not our normal early risers! The kitchen, whilst being petit and bijou, is well stocked with equipment and cooking was a pleasure unlike in some properties we've stayed in. I would definitely recommend that you take your own provisions as supplies in the local convenience store are very limited and the closest supermarkets are a bit of a trek away (there is a large fridge/freezer in the property). The Lister Arms was a wonderful, cosy dog friendly bolthole for a drink or a meal at the end of the day (it is very popular and booking is advisable if you want to eat there even mid-week) and would recommend the coffee shop in the village for breakfast, lunch or coffee and cake. The farm shop a couple of miles away also does a fab breakfast.

Our second stay - really enjoyed it.

Bed mattress needs replacing or turning. The sofa and chair in living room we did not find very comfortable, no support or firmness Other than the above we had a lovely stay, can't fault the property in any other way.

The Threshing Floor was a super bolthole for our stay in Malham.

Situated right in the village with endless walks from the front door, it was the perfect walking holiday accommodation for us and our dog. Rachel and Max are very considerate hosts. There’s a comprehensive instructions pack for the house/appliances and of things to do and see in and around the Dales. Tea, coffee, biscuits and milk were a very thoughtful touch after our long drive up to Yorkshire. Our dog even had his own welcome pack too! With lovely neighbours either side, we felt very welcome in Malham and are sure to return.

A thoroughly enjoyable stay, lovely little cottage situated in a lovely North Yorkshire village within walking distance of the stunning Malham Cove.

We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, self catering facilities excellent. The bed was huge and really, really comfortable. Basics such as tea and coffee left but would advise taking food as the convenience store was limited and the nearest supermarket is quite a trek. There are three pubs in the village which do food but be warned they do prioritise hotel guests ( no criticism there) but despite being told we didn't need to book for a meal in the local Listers arms we found it was fully booked when we went to eat, as were all the other pubs in the village. Would highly recommend this super little cottage.

This was our second time staying at the Threshing Floor and once again it didn’t disappoint.

A lovely cosy apartment with everything you need. Plenty of walks with amazing views and wildlife all from your doorstep. The little village of Malham is beautiful. It has two good pubs to eat and drink in. Our favourite was the Lister Arms with friendly staff and lovely food, even our dog enjoyed a visit and a dog treat or two. We had a lovely relaxing time and would definitely recommend this nice cosy apartment. We hope to be back soon.

Lovely stay at Threshing Floor - a perfect couples retreat with beautiful walks in every direction.

Malham Cove should not be missed for sheer drama and Janet's Foss is magical as well. Two pubs just a few steps away and pretty surroundings. The accommodation was clean and very comfortable. Really enjoyed the super king sized bed with lovely soft mattress!

Fabulous cottage - if you're a couple wanting to stay in the middle of Malham look no further!

Clean, modern, warm, huge big bed, great shower, bath, fluffy towels and parking space. Good, helpful communication with owners too.

Fantastic location, great, well equipped property! We had some correspondence with the owners and housekeepers which was positive on every account.

A lovely apartment, very well maintained and equipped.

Really enjoyed having it as home for a few nights and will probably book again. Much appreciated the welcome for our dog too. The age of the property and windows means there’s a real problem with condensation throughout - I mopped the windows and puddles of condensation the morning we left as it was so bad! No criticism of the owners it’s just one of those things, and it needs people to manage it and understand when they stay.

Immaculate and extremely comfortable, the cottage provided us with everything we could ask for in a truly amazing location.

We experienced some terrible weather so having such luxury to come home to was just what we needed.

For your consideration: A gate on the front patio area would be beneficial to make dog proof . The rear patio area ….. not sure if this is communal but if not it needs cleaning and tidying I feel Also the photo of wooden patio furniture on grassy bank next to brook very misleading as this does not belong to the property and only mentioned in info folder once at the property.

A well appointed cottage in the perfect position for walking and exploring the dales.

The Threshing Floor cottage was well maintained, it had everything in we needed for a lovely week away, even our dog was left treats, a dog fleece so she could curl up on the sofa and some dog shampoo and the key to the dog shower in the little building opposite.

We had a lovely week going for early morning walks along the path from the cottage and saw lots of wildlife. We enjoyed walks to Janet’s Foss, Malham Cove and Gordale Scar and of course we ate in all three pubs during our stay and they all served lovely food. We would definitely stay here again.

A very enjoyable holiday in a beautiful area.

The property was furnished to a high standard well maintained and house keeping was excellent. Tea, coffee and biscuits were well appreciated. Would be helpful to identify in the information booklet position of the collection waste bins and that the rear door only opens onto the yard, garden past the yard is not part of the property (which we made a mistake of walking into with the dog).

Fabulous accommodation, extremely comfortable and a great base for touring and walking.

It would be good to have a lock on the bedroom door and a few more bins. We would definitely recommend it and we will book again.
