Description

Low Orchard House is an inviting retreat, perfect for families looking to escape from their busy lives and enjoy a refreshing break in the Lancashire province.

With underfloor heating and a glowing woodburning stove, this property will make you feel right at home from the second you turn the key.

Step into an entrance hallway where you can leave your walking gear before finding the open-plan living space, the heart and social hub of the home.

Get the woodburning stove roaring before you sink into the sofa and catch up with your favourite shows on the Smart TV, while the designated chef of the group can get to work in the kitchen whipping up some delightful meals for you all to enjoy.

When the sun is shining, open the patio doors to bring the outside in, accessing the garden where you can enjoy your meals alfresco-style, or simply kick back with your favourite beverage and admire nature.

Once the sun sets on your day, there are three bedrooms to pick from; the ground-floor master with a super-king-size bed and en-suite shower, whilst upstairs provides two king-size rooms, each with built-in wardrobes and matching units.

Step under the rainfall shower for a steamy soak or run yourself a warm bath following a day of excursions – whatever aids your relaxation the most.

The historic village of Chipping lies in the Ribble Valley, here you can find plenty of picturesque trails and footpaths as well as local pubs to stop in at for some lovely pub grub.

Venture into the town of Clitheroe, where you can enjoy attractions such as the Grade I listed castle, one of the smallest Norman castles in England, comprising of a maze, sixteen acres of landscaped gardens and a museum, sure to offer plenty of entertainment for all ages.

Browse the town’s market and immersive yourself in the culture by picking up some local produce for a picnic, or indulge in a hearty breakfast at a café before strolling around the shops one afternoon.

Take yourself further afield to the town of Skipton, considered the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales, where sporty guests can enjoy a round at Skipton Golf Club which also provides stunning views of the surrounding countryside greenery.

Enjoy the impressive Craven Museum & Gallery which gives visitors a glimpse into the past of Skipton through interactive exhibits.

Keen walkers will be drawn to the Forest of Bowland where plenty of footpaths can be explored, as well as activities including gliding, paragliding and fishing.

Low Orchard House is an exceptional choice for any friends and families seeking a memorable escape.

Really comfortable, quiet and warm house to stay in.

The heat pump was really quiet and kept the house lovely and warm. The kitchen was well equipped for making meals and the large sofa in the living room was really comfy. The super king bed was really luxurious and the en-suite shower was lovely. The WiFi was excellent and the smart tv great as I could log in to watch my favourite programmes. Lovely walks straight from the door and Chipping has excellent amenities with pubs, cafes and a farm shop. All in all a lovely house to stay in.

Delightful small village, very peaceful location.

Easy access to local beauty spots. Accommodation was generally great, but the front door was very awkward and heavy. The only solution offered was to use the side or patio doors which was not suitable for people with mobility issues. The birds in the garden were fabulous (we even saw 2 partridges), but the garden table and chairs needed seriously cleaning or replacing. Kitchen utensils and frying pans also need reviewing.

Low orchard cottage , stayed in this cottage for a week inApril and it did not dissapoint, it was very very clean and comfortable 3 masive comfortable beds.

If I was to find one fault with the cottage it would be the two suites in the living room where not very comfy,if they where replaced it would be a 10 out of 10.
