Ingleborough Barn

This was our third visit back (twice in the last 2 months).

We absolutely love it here. Janet and Andrew are so lovely and welcoming, and Andrew is happy for you to have a stroll down to the farm. There's nothing like waking up in the morning, sitting out with your coffee and just looking at that view! Will definitely be back again.

Perfect family getaway!

!! We stayed here as a family group of 12, including children, and every single one of us had an absolutely amazing time! The property is incredibly spacious, giving a large group like ours plenty of room to cook, eat, and relax together without ever feeling cramped. The location is wonderfully remote and peaceful. we loved having the freedom to enjoy our time together with absolutely zero outside disturbances. The jacuzzi was a massive bonus and a huge hit with everyone after a day of exploring. It was the perfect spot to unwind and take in the stunning views. Janet and the team were fantastic hosts, making us feel incredibly welcome. We couldn’t have asked for a better family holiday and would highly recommend it to any large groups looking for a premium countryside retreat!

Fantastic stay - perfect place and location for our multi-family group of 12, using both parts of the barn which interconnect very conveniently.

Hot tub was a luxury and joy - fantastic views; plenty of kitchen space and facilities for all. Lovely and warm too, despite strong winds and cold weather outside! Janet was very friendly as our host, and the farming team were super-friendly, inviting the kids to come and see the many new born lambs and calves! This was the cherry on the cake for a lovely weekend away with friends and family.

We celebrated a big family Christmas at Ingleborough Barn this year.

It was absolutely brilliant. Two gorgeous, almost identical barns, that are interlinked by a door. but are accessible by their own front doors. The barns were warm and comfortable and had everything that you could wish for. The owners had decorated the barn for Christmas, it was lovely thank you. We used the hot tub several times over our week long stay and admired the incredible views. We had a problem with the upstairs heating on our first day but we rang the owner and she arrived and fixed it, no fuss, within the hour. Absolutely perfect.

Ingleborough Barn was comfortable, clean and very well equipped.

We had a fantastic weekend with family, the amazing views from the barn and the large hot tub made the weekend.

The barn is perfectly situated for exploring without driving far. We had a wonderful week. Any problems were resolved very quickly by Janet. The fridge was smaller than we expected for the number of people.

We had a wonderful stay at Ingleborough Barn.

There was 11 of us (6 adults and 5 children) staying in the accommodation. It was a perfect size and had everything that we needed. The hot tub is a lovely addition, with wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. Owners extremely helpful when we had a problem with water one morning. Lovely area to stay in, enjoyed a walk from Clapham pass Ingleborough Cave. Thanks for a brilliant stay.

What a wonderful stay!

stunning scenery, owners so helpful, especially with allowing the kids to see the animals on the farm. spacious inside and out. hot tub was a hit, though we had to wait a day until the chemicals were balanced.place was clean, beds comfortable and plenty sitting space. supermarket orders struggled to find the exact location. would highly recommend!

Really great property.

We were 12 adults undertaking the 3 peaks challenge. The property was a good location and hot tub very welcomed afterwards! The water in the property is a private supply so doesnt taste very nice (and we werent fussy water drinks). This is fine as we drank bottled but it would be helpful to know. This didnt spoil our trip at all though and would recommemd it

The property was lovely and was perfect for our group numbers and had amazing views of the three peaks but a few things let it down.

The smell from the water in the taps was terrible. We read reviews before we arrived so everyone decided to buy water which was quite a big expense but we chose to use it for drinking and cooking. The smell was bad even when people showered and by the second day the smell had drifted into one of the twin rooms. This smell unfortunately put us off using the hot tub.

We are just back from our week away in Ingleborough barn & have had a lovely time it has fabulous views which we all agreed on but it is remote so if you're looking for a pub or corner shop you'd be disappointed.

The house itself was good for 8 adults 1 dog & 5 kids aged 1 - 15. The hot tub was great fun but we thought the house needed a bit of an update one of the kitchen cupboards had a handle hanging off, the TVs were old (no netflix or sky which we have had in other houses) & we could only get one of them to work. The shower over the bath in the downstairs bathroom was very slippy as has been mentioned by other guests previously & had no gran rail. The iron beds weren't the most comfortable & creaked every time you moved. The water tasted & smelt disgusting so went through a lot of bottled water. I think if all this was rectified it would be greatly improved.

This is a a great location for a family or group holiday.

Over looking a panoramic view of the country side, with Ingleborough as the highlight. The accommodation was spacious, with good facilities. The owner was very helpful and accommodating .

The cottage was fabulous.

(we did notice a cracked window in the downstairs bathroom). Well equipped and lovely and clean. We met Andrew and Janet who were lovely and invited us to the farm, where the grandchildren feed the lambs. An experience they will never forget. We was blessed with perfect weather, so spent a lot of our time in the garden, (which was nice and secure for my dog) and in the hottub. The perfect place to spend quality time with my family.

Well equipped and maintained. Gorgeous views and we were very lucky to have glorious sunshine all weekend.

We had a great Christmas in this lovely property.

Comfortable sofas, comfortable beds and lots of room for the 10 of us. We loved the decorations. Two kitchens made it perfect for cooking Christmas lunch as we had 2 ovens and 2 fridges. The hot tub was on all the time and it was lovely to sit in it and look at the lights on the building. Janet was friendly and helpful - many many thanks! One of our party was quite elderly and liked the ground floor bedroom with walk-in shower. It would have been even better though if there had been a few grab rails in the shower, which he found a bit slippy. Also perhaps a grab rail to help him get on and off the toilet. And the step between the 2 halves of the building was too steep for him. One other thing - the wifi only really works in half of the building.

What a lovely holiday our family had , a warm home with lovely views .

The two cottages were perfect for our large family group. Lots of space for everyone. We enjoyed playing games on the large table , and it was nice to eat meals on the table prepared in the well equipped two kitchens . It was perfect for our New Year’s Eve family break, and the Christmas decorations were a nice touch.

Great property for extended families to spend quality time together with beautiful views . Very comfortable with large bedrooms and bathrooms. Second stay and will return .

A lovely property located in an excellent position overlooking the Yorkshire Three Peaks.

Plenty of nearby activities for adults and children, good eating locations and excellent walks for all levels of activity. Can thoroughly recommend The Highwayman at Burrow near Kirkby Lonsdale for excellent food and ales. Janet, the owner, is extremely helpful and responsive to contact - only too willing to help. All-in-all, the family party of 10 enjoyed a wonderful week.

What a great place to stay - we literally count not fault anything - exceptionally clean - well maintained- all you needed for a great break away!

Oh and the hot tub was fabulous too!

Absolutely gorgeous getaway for the whole family!

Stunning views and all amenities available that are needed. The house is split into 2 which was nice as we had 2 sides of the family up.. there’s 2 kitchens which was very useful. Good size rooms and did not feel small at all. The one bed was a little noisy (double bed) but other than this there’s no complaints at all. The owner was also very helpful. Will definitely recommend to others. Thank you!

Ingleborough barn is an ideal place to holiday.

So peaceful & the views are to die for...stunning !! The owners are lovely and very helpful if we had any questions. Plenty of space in the barn, very comfortable. Unfortunately we did notice some things broken & some holes in the plaster from door handles. We had a fabulous holiday and I would definitely go back.

Our family had a lovely stay at Ingleborough Barn.

The setting is beautiful and we were lucky to have the weather to match. Kitchens are well equipped and house is comfortable. We loved the hot tub and secure garden too. I think a floor plan could be helpful for people who have never stayed before. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay. We hope to come back.

The house was amazing.

We stayed as a family of 14 and the facilities at the house were amazing... something for everyone and the hosts were fabulous. Cannot recommend this house enough. We will be back.

A group of 10 stayed at the cottage for The weekend before walking the peaks and celebrating a birthday.

Lots of space, clean, great comfortable beds and fully equipped with everything need. We will definitely be back again!!

This is a really good property for family or friends who want somewhere they can stay together.

Plenty of plates, mugs, glasses etc and having two dishwashers meant we could load one put it on and then start on the other one. We were a family group of 13 ranging in age from age 2-88 and the property worked for everyone. Having bedrooms and bathrooms on both levels was especially good for less mobile family members. The hottub was very popular and used each day. The views from the property are outstanding and its very peaceful when outside yet easy to reach and no distance from Lancaster.

Ingleborough Barn is a lovely cottage in beautiful settings.

It was clean, spacious and had everything we needed for a great weekend away with friends. The conjoining door between the two cottages is such a great idea and the hot tub was a welcome addition. Would highly recommend.

It has everything you could possibly need. It is so clean and the host Janet made us feel very welcome and comfortable. We would certainly stay again.

Second time returning and the barn did not disappoint, catering for all our needs.

A great place to stay with friends and family with easy access to great walks, pubs and villages. The window in the smaller half of the barn in the twin room leaks and possibly causing an issue on the ceiling in the kitchen.

Amazing stay, the barn is brilliant and exactly as advertised, we have saved the details for future use as we will be back.

Only minor thing, there was no instructions for the heating, we worked it out but with so many thermostats and underfloor switches around it was difficult to know which one worked with what.

This property was ideal for 3 families (6 adults and 5 children) with 6 bedrooms split between the 2 linked barns with inside doors allowing free access for the children to play with their cousins.

The huge table in one of the kitchens enabled all of us to sit down together for meals. Barn was clean and very comfortable with the underfloor heating and plenty of space (bedrooms and living area). The hot tub was a firm favourite and we used it most days even in the rain and hail. Well located, only 30 mins to Morecombe (Bowling, Trampoline Park, beach) and 30 mins to Ingleborough Cave. All these are worth a visit as well as the Lune Valley Swimming pool at Hornby (15 mins away). For a great meal visit the George and Dragon at Wray, may have to book but food is excellent especially the Lamb Henry. Food shopping / Essentials in High Bentham (Co-Op and Spar) and if you are there look out for the Black Pig Cafe (Great Coffee and Bacon Sandwich on a wet day). The owner (Janet) is just down the lane at the Farm if there are any questions which is good to know but we had no problems at all. Would highly recommend

Ideal for for us as a multi generation family staying over Christmas.

Pretty awful gales cannot be blamed on owners and we still managed to enjoy the hot tub on several occasions. Might be helpful to include floor plans in the property information so people can be sure the layout will work for them. Also, Sykes cottages needs to sort out its relationship with Vrbo as we originally tried to book through them and were a little concerned that their listing didn’t confirm our booking or payments. Lovely property and would like to return to explore the area in warmer months

Water issues at property going back 14 months but was supposedly ok to drink.

When arrived at property was informed that water had failed a health and safety test but if boiled would be safe to drink. Owner left a 5 litre bottle of water for 10 adults for 3 days!!!! Water tasted disgusting even when boiled. When asked where we could buy more we were told co-op in Bentham. No offer to provide us with more. 2 of the beds were not made up. When contacted owner as no sheets could be found. We were made to feel like it was our fault as owner asked 'really, which room is it?' Issues with hot tub - on arrival were told was a net was available to fish out any leaves. Lid would not stay on as clips were all broken (apparently only a week old). Due to issues with lid it was nearly empty after day 1 and water cold as lid would not stay on so unable to use. Owner did not come to check cleanliness or water levels during the stay. No outside lighting so difficult to use hot tub at night, Paths around barn very slippery, even worse when wet. Would not visit again.

2nd stay at the barn and this time was even better than the first was exactly as we remembered which is what brought us back.

Love this stay in every way and thank you Janet for being so helpful and welcoming.

Well kept and maintained property.

We were looking for a place which has a cosy cottage feel but also modern kitchen and bathroom facilities which was exactly what we found at Inglebrorough. Secure garden and hot tub with great views was a huge plus point for us. Had a lovely long weekend despite the little inconvenience due to electric outage because of the storm (must say the emergency services were very quick to restore it).

Hosts were very helpful and acted Swiftly with any requests Farmer was fabulous with everyone ,we could all get involved with milking and the calves ,nothing to much trouble . Fabulous location .

Probably the best holiday cottage we have stayed in to date.

Top marks in all departments for a large family group with dogs. Modern, plenty of space, comfortable and secure (both cottage and grounds). Hot tub a hit with everyone even when raining. Secluded but not too far from places of interest, parks, soft play to keep the children happy. Owners very friendly and helpful. Many thanks for a great week. Would highly recommend.

The property is great, it’s a huge size and is in a beautiful location with amazing views and a lovely sunset.

Only issue for the full weekend was that the water has an off smell which means you can’t drink from the tap and it smells when you’re showering. It is bearable but is just the only downside really. Other things I would recommend are maybe a few more outside features like a bbq would be a great addition and also more bins to put rubbish in.

Absolutely beautiful property, wonderfully maintained, fantastic facilities, could not fault it one bit.

We had a lovely time celebrating my 70th Birthday with family.

The grandchildren loved the hot tub. A mix of ages all catered for with plenty of room to accommodate us all both inside and out. 8 adults 5 grandchildren including new baby. Would have been good to have more outside seating for us older ones to relax but overall all had a super stay

An amazing cottage for our large group who were walking the 3 Peaks.

Very clean, great facilities and any problems (we only had one issue with the hot water) were resolved promptly. Great to have the hot tub there as well. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending it.

Had a fantastic weekend, a suprise 60th birthday for my wife, the property was large enough for 8 adults and 5 children.

The view's were stunning from all angles. The owners were on hand to provide any help needed. I would highly recommend this property to all my friends and family.

The cottage had amazing scenic views of the three peaks.

It was spacious well appointed and great for us as a family group of 10 occupying both cottages with interconnecting doors.The location was superb for both the Dales and the Lakes. The owners were very friendly and accommodating they invited us down to the farm to see the new lambs. We would highly recommend a holiday break there and will would visit again Peter April 2023

Great place to stay for a large group as you are not on top of one another, with lots of space both inside and out to chill out.

The facilities are fabulous and the information provided was clear and provided in a timely way. We all really enjoyed the accomodation and will definitely be back.

There'd a few maintenance bits and pieces that need taking care of.

Light bulbs needing replacement, leak to skylight in upstairs bathroom and a plug to the dos bath that doesn't hold water which made it unusable. However overall we had a great stay.

Amazing property in an outstanding location, with the best views.

The children loved looking over the wall at the cows in the next field. The owner was very helpful. The only niggle, which didn't really affect our stay, but could bother others, is the eggy smell that comes everytime water is ran. We went to the shop and bought our own water as some of the family were u comfortable drinking it. Overall though, we were really happy with the house and would definitely visit again. ☺️

Overall the property is stunning, very comfortable and in a beautiful location so we had an amazing weekend away.

The only complaint we would have is the tap water, not sure why but there is clearly sulphur in the source, is it smells extremely eggy, which whilst we were assured it is safe made it very unpleasant to use/ drink. A little warning ahead of arrival would have been appreciated.

Fabulous property in a stunning location.

It was the perfect get away for our family celebration. The only suggestion would be that as we had a couple of elderly family members who are not steady on their feet, non-slip bath mats in showers would have been good.

There was a group of us climbing Scafell Pike for charity and we needed a stop over for two days and the barn was perfect! Great facilities, really clean and everything we needed in the beautiful countryside

Super property in a beautiful location!

We found some lovely local walks. The rooms were all very nice and comfortable. A welcome pack would be good to signpost to local attractions, walks, restaurants and takeaways. We found a lovely pub, called the Highway Man, a few mikes away. I would definitely recommend the accommodation. We were a party of 12 (two families) with 6 teenagers amongst us! It was nice to have separate kitchen areas.

Lovely and very spacious property.

...teens could have space away from little ones! Very clean and warm. Fabulous views whatever the weather. Basic instructions for washer/dryer would have been useful. Very much appreciated the warm welcome to seeing the new born lambs. The only issue with comfort was that I have a lower back problem so the sofas were a bit low and squashy for me personally. Everyone else in the family was fine.

Absolutely excellent property.

We hired both halves of the barn to celebrate our Golden Wedding. Really nice location overlooking the 3 peaks and close to the Trough of Bowland. Couple of very nice Restaurants nearby which completed the week. Very well equipped accommodation with everything you need plus a hot tub, which is a short but cold hop in January but worth the effort. Highly recommendable.

Our group of 3 families had a fabulous time at Ingleborough Barn, plenty of room, very clean, hot tub was perfect for star gazing and lazy evenings.

The whole place is perfect for a large gathering and I expect we will be back. We had a wonderful Halloween stay! Only thing I'd say is we couldn't find a clothes maiden and after lots of soggy walks it would have come in handy. Owner was lovely too, thanks so much.

Hot tub was a funny colour when we got there but they came as soon as they could and offered us two options we chose the one where hot tub was refilled but we were unable to get in it until the following day so that was a little disappointing

Bathroom doors did not lock - you could not shoot the bolt in any of them.

Rang owner and he came with chisel and improved 2 downstairs - this is real basic maintenance. Local son-in-law found a pole to keep heavy adjoining door open, with a deep step to second kitchen. Our men moved table from bottom kitchen up to top kitchen so we could eat together. Upstairs was difficult to ventilate in any sort of heat - perhaps a fan or two in each upstairs area would have improved comfort. A larder fridge would have been an enormous asset - we had a large order for 13 on Saturday and another on Tuesday, and both times struggled to get everything in the fridges and then they do not run efficiently. We were there for a week and ate in every night and packed lunches. Milk takes up a lot of space on shelves! Freezer space O.K. Pans, large dishes for 13/14 were a bit sparse, as were utensils - I had taken some of my own after reading previous reviews - a bit muddled between the two kitchens. Spare toilet roll/s would have been good - little girls use a lot!! The garden was excellent for the dogs and the hot tub was a winner for the children and adults. We found the hose to top up the water to the filter level as it began to look murky. On website - key to lockable bike store available - this was not so - owner please check your own website. Some leaflets would have been useful - I had collected a few from a previous visit to the area and local daughter and son in law had some local knowledge but others would not be so fortunate. This booking was held over from 2020 and some family had returned from abroad permanently so this was a much anticipated get-together of our 3 children and their families including a new babe. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms excellent - for all of us - our first holiday since the Pandemic and it was enjoyed by all.

Ingleborough Barn is a wonderful place to stay - very relaxing!

It’s located on a working farm so it is surrounded by fields with cows, sheep and a few horses. The Barn is not really in walking distance to any shops/pubs, so if you want those amenities on your doorstep, this is probably not the location for you. The Barn itself is fantastic - warm, well equipped and big. We hired the whole barn which sleeps up to 12(?). There are actually 2 barns joined together, so there are 2 kitchens, 2 living and dining areas and many bathrooms. Each barn has 3 bedrooms - 2 upstairs with a shared bathroom and one downstairs with an en-suite/Jack and Gill doors. The Barn would be brilliant for 2 families who wanted to share but also have their own space. The garden is safe and closed off with gates, chatting with the cows over the wall is good fun and the sunsets were amazing! The Barn is well equipped, was clean and very homely. There are a number of good walks nearby in/from the villages of Ingleborough, Clapham and Austwick and good pubs in Bentham and Wray. We would definitely stay again - if we can find any availability!!

Fabulous property.

It would have been helpful to have more information about the equipment in the property and local services and places of interest. We wondered if this was COVID regulations.

We had a well earned break away in this lovely property.

Perfect location. Great base for exploring the surrounding area. Only negative feedback - maybe could have done with some more kitchen equipment. Normally we would eat out but due to Covid we dined in every night. Would not put us off returning. We will definitely be back in the future. Well done to the owners and thank you from the Cumbrian ladies. we really did have a fabulous time.

Beautiful location and the barn had plenty of space.

The owners were really helpful and their instructions were clear.

We had a great time in the barn and the communication all round was really good.

Fantastic weekend with great facilities.

A few teething issues but the owners couldn't do enough to make sure we were comfy and happy.

Lovely setting Pictures didn’t do it justice

The location and views were wonderful and overall the family enjoyed the weekend break.

The layout suited us well apart from the 2 heavy doors between the 2 living areas. These doors really needed to be able to be left open if the barns are let as 1 unit. We were very pleased that the owner brought us wood for the burners and charcoal for the BBQ. The hot tub temperature was ideal and very clean. However, we felt the bathrooms/plumbing were unsatisfactory as there was no hot water in 3 of the showers and low pressure in the other. Only 1 towel rail was working. It took us a while to get the oven and dishwasher working when we arrived as the circuit breaker had tripped, but we did appreciate the dishwasher tablets and tea towels being provided. Overall just met expectations but would say it was overpriced for 3 nights.

Just returned from Ingleborough Barn which we booked for my 30th birthday!

We stayed for 5nights and the age range of our party was from 8 weeks old - late 30s! There were 9 adults, 4 children, 1 infant and a newborn! The barn is fabulous, lots of space, the views are breathtaking and it is kitted out with everything you need. To be honest the pictures really do not do it justice! But the icing on the cake is the owners! Andrew was just amazing - he gave the children memories they will treasure forever! They saw lambs being born, fed 1 day old lambs and calves! He was just so friendly, welcoming and really couldn't do enough even when he is so busy working! We will definitely be back!

The Barn was a fantatsic choice for us all as a family.

12 of us stayed and it didnt feel like we were cramped cause the place is very spacious. Kitchen and dinning was great.. kids loved the outside space and we saw a coouple of lambs born at a distance too. Kids went down the the farm for a little tour... Janet and her husband were very accomodating. The hot tub was a hit with everyone too.

Generally worked well, but a bit awkward when we all wanted to sit together, either at the table or in the lounge. Beds very comfortable. Lovely location with great views.

So much space for our party of 12. Cottage was clean and tidy. We were pleasently surprised at all the little extras like hand wash, washing up liquid, kitchen foil etc tea towels and bath towels..! Hot tub was perfect, the outdoors was stunning. The photos do not do justice to this cottage is soo much bigger than it seems!! Lovely big cottage plenty of space for 14 people and 2 dogs

There were 12 adults staying at the Barn for a 50th celebration and it was a perfect size accommodation.

The barn was more than big enough for us all, plenty of space and room. There was more than enough crockery, utensils etc and enough room at the dining table to comfortably fit 12 adults. Quality of fittings and furniture was apparent throughout as well as the beautiful way the barn had been restored with its lovely brickwork and stunning wooden beams. The hot tub was fantastic, clean and really toasty, we all enjoyed relaxing in it until 2am (Jan 14th, temp was 1 degree) and was still warm enough. The Barn overall was well worth the money and we will without doubt like to return again. I would not hesitate in recommending this Barn to anyone. Can I say a special thanks to the owners of the barn, Andrew and Janet who could not have been nicer and so helpful with any additional requests we had. They made our weekend very special. 10/10 guys.

The property is better than the photos depict especially the large dining table area (it looks cramped but is anything but).

We were initially deceived when booking this as it says for 14 people but this is 12 adults and 2 children if you read closer (luckily one couple could not come).

When we arrived, this barn exceeded all expectations, it was cosy, clean, wonderfully large, amazing views. Very homely, but a luxury at the same time! We had a slight issue with the heating on the first day, and we messaged the owner who fixed it straight away! We would recommend this barn to anyone! We would also come back tomorrow! It’s amazing!

Booked Ingleborough barn for my wife's 60th birthday.

12 adults and 2 toddlers.The barn was everything I expected and more.The hot tub is brilliant.Janets daughter was great with the little ones,showing them the tractors and showing us around the farm during milking.We loved it.Will definitely return against.

The views are superb and the layout of the two Barns worked very well for us.

The owners and their family were very friendly and welcoming. This extended to a fascinating visit to the milking parlour where we greatly enjoyed seeing the calves and watching the cows being milked. The hot tub was great fun. It was a very quiet location which suited our family group ideally.

We loved the hot tub and the wifi was excellent.

Location was remote and beautiful, when the mist and rain lifted. The parking was very good. The owner was very friendly and obliging.

We had a wonderfully relaxing time at Ingleborough Barn.

We were a family party of 12 with two dogs. The barn is very spacious and comfortable with beautiful views towards the 3 Peaks and the hot tub is a real treat. Janet and Andrew were very friendly and helpful, especially when we had problems with our car! Thank you Janet for the lift! All in all, we loved the stay and would stay again.

Marvellous views of Ingleborough.

Immaculately clean and attractively furnished converted barn. Lovely friendly owners on the nearby farm who were only too happy to answer any queries and also showed our four year old grandson around the farm milking parlour. Everyone had fun in the Hot tub! N.B. Take fly trapp papers to put up in the kitchen.....You are near a farm!!

Our group of twelve plus two dogs loved Ingleborough Barn.

Spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. Great to have two lounges when World Cup, Tour de France and Wimbledon on at same time! Stunning views from the barn especially from the hot tub. Very helpful owners gave advice about online shopping delivery. We would have loved more fridge space for the beers and sparkling wine! Terrific venue for a reunion - loads to do for all interests: erratic boulder walks, Wensleydale cheese factory visit, antique shop browsing in Kirkby Lonsdale.

We had very specific needs and I could have saved myself a lot of searching if I had just telephoned the excellent customer service team.

They were amazing and thanks to them we had a fab time.

A wonderful stay at Ingleborough Barn.

Fantastic house - basically two sets of accommodation with a door between them. This was helpful for us as my sisters dogs were easily containable in one side when needed. A big space with lots of light. Loads of bathrooms. Fantastic garden and hot tub. Farmer and his family were friendly and available but didn’t crowd or suddenly appear - the barn is on its own so great for privacy and the farm is just down the road. Farmer welcomed the kids to come and look around the farm and he talked to them about it. Had several great days out in the Dales, Lakes and Forest of Bowland, all beautiful areas to visit. The three peaks are visible from the garden and you can watch the sun set each evening from the hot tub. We loved it and hope to stay there again. Would highly recommend. Thanks.

The barn was really good wonderful setting.

All the bedrooms a good size. Hosts very helpful when needed otherwise left us to it which was just what we wanted. Had a brilliant time celebrating 3 big family birthdays. Would definitely go again.

Fabulous place to stay with stunning location.

Excellent facilities, especially the hot-tub! Very friendly and extremely helpful hosts. All 12 of us had a fantastic experience and hope to return in the future.

Our children & there partners paid for us to go to Ingleborough barn with them for our 40th wedding anniversary for the weekend then they left & we stayed the rest of the week we married in December 1977 & were supposed to honeymoon in the lakes but circumstances were so we never made it we don’t get together so often so it was an amazing weekend with them all we went somewhere every day it’s a great base for most areas up there I think the last day was the best as we went to Lake Windermere Ingleborough barn is an absolutely stunning property with everything anyone needs I think Andrew & Janet have thought just about everything anyone would ever need my one gripe would be there wasn’t an egg flip lol what an amazing time we had Andrew & Janet are really lovely friendly people busy people but still have time for you the farm & animals are great to look round I would thoroughly recommend in fact I already have friends & anyone especially hikers walkers people who love beautiful scenery to try the most stunning Ingleborough barn view of the three peaks out of the lounge windows amazing views we will be making more trips to Ingleborough barn in the future going to make this a regular thing thank you Sykes & Andrew & Janet from the Kendell family halifax.

Great cottage, great location, everything we needed

Our holiday was fantastic.

Booking our cottage was very easy and welcoming. The cottage was superb, the facilities were great, the kids loved the open space and the hot tub was the icing on the cake. Thank you all very much.

Had an absolutely fantastic weekend.

The cottage was beautiful and the surroundings just as lovely. We all thoroughly enjoyed the whole weekend. We will definitely be booking again.

This is an excellent venue.

It was ideal for our family with plenty of space for the children ranging in age from 12 down to 5 to have space to do their own thing. We all loved it and the location and would like to return when we're able to do so.

The cottage was brilliant, size, layout and comfortable.

We went for my birthday a girls weekend away, it met all of our expectations and was beautifully looked after by the owners. Owners were brilliant and couldn't do enough to help make your stay very comfortable and enjoyable. We would definitely book here again!! Amazing place, quiet location but lovely place to go walking too. Added bonus is the hot tub... Only thing I would mention from a safety aspect is that there are no lights around the hot tub and it is in the evening quite dark, so would recommend lighting in this area.
