We stayed here for a weekend , 6 adults and 5 children, the place was absolutely amazing , clean and extremely comfortable, the hot tub was much appreciated even through the weekend was extremely stormy !

There was plenty for everyone to do , the Pac-Man machine , pool table and cinema room were a great hit! If we needed help the owners were readily available , the only issue was we couldn’t find fuel for the log burner ! One of the best places we’ve rented and we’ve rented a lot for family holidays and breaks !

We had a fantastic weekend at Alston House for my husbands 70th birthday.

The house is amazing and has everything you need. The only small things I would recommend would be for more tea towels and larger baking trays. The setting is tranquil and very peaceful. The narrow lane takes a little getting used to but is manageable with slow speed and careful driving. I would stay at Alston House again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

We absolutely loved our time in this property.

From the moment we arrived until the final hour it was everything we needed. The house is spectacular with a mix of practicality, comfort and luxury. It catered for everyone and it made the stay very special. We will be looking at returning in the near future.
