What can I say!

! Kathleen and Pat are amazing hosts, nothing is too much trouble but they are never intrusive!!! Beautiful cottage in a great location just on the edge of the Forest of Bowland but only 2miles from the lovely town of Longridge. So many lovely villages and gorgeous eateries within an easy distance, can’t wait for my next visit!!!

Fantastic cottage on a working farm, accessibility was great for my husband who is wheelchair bound, lovely wet room, comfy adjustable beds, lovely soft towels, bedding was excellent really can't say enough about this cottage it was just what we needed.

Kath and Pat the owners are so friendly and helpful, loads of knowledge of place to visit. and the CAKE on arrival was just stunning so delicious with a cup of tea. If you are looking for somewhere friendly peaceful and welcoming then The Proven House is defiantly the place to go. Thankyou Kath and Pat

I chose Proven House because of the accessibility description, and was not disappointed, easily negotiating on walkin̈g sticks.

I'm not a wheelchair user. A very well equipped house with very generous extras we have not experienced elsewhere. Milk ( our choice of variety), homemade cake, coffee etc, condiments, oil, foil etc. Plus a very cheery welcome. Highly recommended.

Great holiday, perfect location for towns west coast and superb walking.

The cottage is well equipped, comfy and spacious, there is so much information for cycling, walking and places of interest ect. Kathleen and Pat are great hosts with good knowledge of the local areas and to be on the farm in the lambing season was a bonus. Hope to return sometime and thank you for the yummy cake.

Great accommodation, absolutely perfect for us.

Super clean and comfortable. Hosts very very welcoming and friendly. (Hope the lambing goes smoothly) Location good, nice little town down the road and good location to explore further afield.

Would highly recommend,it is on a wonderful farm with views of the horses,cows and sheep.

The cottage is immaculate,so comfy and well equipped and owned by two nicest people you could ever meet.We will definitely be returning again,thoroughly enjoyed every minute,plenty of places to visit as well.

Lovely clean and cosy cottage.

Owners very friendly and welcoming, and we appreciated the extra touches, milk in fridge (even messaged to ask which milk we preferred) etc. The owners have considered everything you could need and provided it, information on local amenities, walking routes and maps, cycling routes, places of interest. The property is well situated not far from main road, yet in quiet rural setting.

Spent a relaxing week at Proven House.

The house was extremely well equipped and very cozy even though the weather outside was horrendous at times. Proven House was quiet and away from it all yet conveniently situated for a walk to pub and Italian restaurant. Shops and take aways are a plenty in nearby Longridge. Good location for exploring Ribble Valley and scenic walks. I would recommend Dunsop Bridge area. The hosts were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

The property is snug and warm, and very comfortable.

Kathleen and Pat have endeavoured to think of everything, and are excellent hosts. The one and only downside is that the allocated parking slot isn’t very easy to manoeuvre into, and tricky if you’ve got a large vehicle.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at House and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it.

The hosts were very friendly and welcoming and couldn’t do enough to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The holiday let was comfortable and well equipped, with everything we could possibly want and located in an excellent position between Preston and Longridge whilst being set back from the main road and consequently free of traffic noise. We particularly enjoyed the large terrace with its view across the fields with the animals grazing in the distance. We fully recommend it whether for just a few days, or for an extended stay such as ours.

The proven house was a lovely comfortable cottage with everything thing you needed for a fantastic holiday.

Lovely cottage that was perfect for the 2 of us.

The washing dryer was an added bonus. The owners, Kathleen and Pat were so friendly and helpful and told us lots about the local area. We had a fab stay and hope to return one day.
