If you are looking for somewhere a little off the beaten track, along with peace and quiet, then this accommodation is for you.

The lodge was spotlessly clean and had everything you would need. The hosts were lovely and checked we didn't need anything . A wonderful place to stay.

The property is a credit to the owners.

We felt 'at home' within minutes. As we were at the end of the latest summer heatwave, we didn't need heating or cooling fans. We had a wonderful short break. Our neighbours came to see us as soon as they were out of their barn - 20+ bullocks and a few of their 'mums'. It was so peaceful, yet only 5 mins drive from Pilling and 10 from Knott End. Garstang is a bit further east and Lancaster/Morecombe and the Lakes to the north. Next door to Pilling fish&chips, we found a great pub (The Elletson Arms), which we understand has recently reopened. The food was traditional fayre, but the quality was top notch and was quite busy with locals mid-week around 1800hrs - always a good sign. They have theme nights during the week.
