What guests are saying

We stayed at 10 South street, Rawtenstall from 20 - 27 April.

We decided to book somewhere whilst our house was having a complete rewire and decided on Rawtenstall as we had relatives in Bacup, Haslingden and Rochdale. The house was amazing, the owners left a fantastic welcome pack which was totally unexpected. We were certainly impressed with the house layout, the owners obviously spent time on ensuring the house was comfortable for any visitor. The bedroom and walk in wardrobe certainly gave Jenny some ideas for our house. All the facilities were thought out. The location couldn’t have been better. We had the car parked for most of the week as everything was within a maximum of 15 minutes walking. The town had everything, shops, cafes, restaurants, loads of micro pubs and bars. There is every type of cuisine in the town and all reasonably priced. The bus station had regular runs to Manchester, Bury, Blackburn and Burnley. There is plenty of places to go sightseeing and whilst at Skipton castle stopped at Boundary Mill for some shopping. Even walking the dog was fun with plenty of places within the town and of course Whitaker park. The hosts Ray and Jane were so accommodating. We will definitely be going again in the future. Thanks for a very enjoyable stay. Mike, Jenny and Fudge.

We were so glad to find this home to stay in part way through our own house renovations, when we were really craving some comfort and a place to relax.

The home is outstanding — beautifully presented and very thoughtfully put together with everything you could need and more. You can tell the owners genuinely care about their guests through the attention to detail and what’s provided throughout the property. Communication from booking through to departure was excellent, which made the whole stay easy and enjoyable. The location is also perfect, just a short walk from the lovely town centre with great shops, bars and places to eat. We enjoyed our stay so much that we’re already planning to come back for another weekend later this year. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
