  • "Lovely spacious holiday property for two people & doggies!"

    Well equipped with lovely shower room. Very comfortable bed. No oven but air fryer provided should be adequate. As property is located in owner's large back garden necessary to keep dog on lead. Excellent patio with good quality garden furniture.

  • "The Cabin was ideal for us and our two dogs."

    It has everything we needed, and was very well planned and thought out. The bed is super comfortable with lovely bedding, the shower is lovely and hot, and the kitchen area is well equipped. There are walks from the door up onto the hills, a regular bus service on the main road, loads of places to visit, and walks to do. The Owners family gave us very useful local information and made us feel welcome. We certainly would love to visit again, great place, great area , great people.

  • "Accommodation was excellent -exactly as described and owners were really friendly and helpful."

    Everything we needed for a few nights stay. Parking was great as off road and no issues then finding a space. The Cabin was decorated beautifully- lovely and modern with large TV and good shower. Grassed area for our Labrador also. Would highly recommend!

  • "I had a lovely, cosy week at The Cabin."

    Uma and Mark were incredibly hospitable and made sure my stay was comfortable, while also recommending great local places and walks to explore. The space had everything I needed, including a well-equipped kitchen with thoughtful extras like an air fryer. The bed was very comfortable, and it was peaceful and quiet at night. The location is ideal, with excellent transport links and easy access to Burnley and Rawtenstall. I couldn’t recommend The Cabin enough and would happily stay again in the future.

  • "Uma was super friendly on our arrival and showed us everything we needed to know about the cabin."

    It was well equipped with everything needed and even fun games to play. The furnishings are lovely and a bonus that they allow 2 dogs! It’s a perfect place to relax and unwind as well so many things to do nearby! Uma recommended lots of things to do and we were really grateful of the recommendations! Despite Storm Dave we really enjoyed our weekend stay!

  • "The Cabin is an immaculately presented cottage in a scenic and peaceful location."

    There are walks from the door and many visitor attractions nearby including Queen Street Mill, Burnley, and Towneley Hall as well as retail opportunities such as Boundary Outlet, Colne and The Trafford Centre. The owners of The Cabin are most welcoming and have created a cosy retreat with everything you could need for a short break. I will definitely return to The Cabin on my next trip to the area.

  • "Uma and Mark were really excellent hosts, they made me feel very welcome and at home from the moment I arrived and informed me on so much relating to the cabin, the local area and attractions nearby."

    The cabin is exactly as described, and truly exceeded my expectations. It was like a home away from home, beautifully decorated, clean and very peaceful. There was never a dull moment, and there are board games and books available if you’re trying to reduce your screen time. Great transport links just on the main road, so easy to get about if you want to take a break from driving around.

  • "We were greeted by the owners, Mark and Uma, they made us feel very welcome."

    The cabin was just lovely. A lot of consideration had gone in to the layout. The kitchen was well equipped and even had an airfryer. A lovely cosy place to return to on a bitterly cold day. Would definitely stay again.

  • "The Cabin, in Lancashire, is spotless, cozy and a fabulous location for exploring the vicinity of Crawshawbooth, Rawtenstall and other lovely walking areas."

    The bed is comfortable, the well equipped kitchen is so useful as is the shower and we were entertained by the big tv, books and games. The garden was secure for our dog, but we kept him on a lead as the owners also have a dog.

    The Cabin was perfect for me and my fiancé it was clean and modern and the hosts Una and Mark where very welcoming and helpful with things to do around the area and it is located in a very beautiful and quiet location which was perfect for us and it is dog friendly so they told us some really nice walks to take while we was there its not to far from the town so we will definitely be booking again thank you

  • "Thank you and Mark so much the cabin was so amazing and lovely."

    We felt just at home. It?s the first time we have ever been away with our baby nova so it was amazing! The lodge was pristine and had a feeling of home we loved it! The only thing I would suggest would be lovely would be to have a lovely guest book. My partner and I have stayed in lodges cabins a few times and every time there is a lovely quest book to sign and we always love reading through and seeing all the nice things people have said. My girlfriend had an amazing 22nd birthday in the cabin and we had an amazing time.

  • "Brilliant accommodation."

    First class hosts who made us feel welcome right from the introductory text message. They made sure we had everything we needed. Quiet location but close enough to access hills or motorway network. Property was modern, clean, tidy and well equipped. First choice for when we are back in the area.

Inside, the studio-style layout has been thoughtfully designed to create a welcoming holiday space.

The open-plan living area features a double bed, a well-equipped kitchen with a gas hob, microwave and fridge/freezer, along with a breakfast bar for two, ideal for sharing a meal or planning the day ahead.
