What guests are saying
Dear Sykes Cottages Team, Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to enjoy such a memorable stay at No.
35, Ribble Valley View. Our experience exceeded expectations, and we would like to express our sincere appreciation for the thought, care, and attention that have clearly gone into creating and maintaining this wonderful property. From the moment we arrived, it was evident that every aspect of the accommodation had been carefully considered. The property is beautifully designed, impeccably maintained, and exceptionally well managed. It is rare to find a holiday home where everything has been so thoughtfully provided that guests genuinely struggle to think of anything that could further enhance their stay. Whether for a family holiday, a gathering of friends, or simply a peaceful retreat, the property offers a truly complete and comfortable experience. The location itself is equally remarkable. Surrounded by breathtaking countryside, with a charming brook nearby and stunning natural landscapes in every direction, the setting is both peaceful and inspiring. The views throughout the day are spectacular, from the beauty of dawn to the changing colours of the evening sky. On clear nights, the opportunity to enjoy a sky full of stars makes the experience even more special. We were particularly impressed by the kitchen facilities. The high-quality appliances, cookware, and utensils made it a pleasure to prepare homemade meals and spend valuable family time together. It is clear that great care has been taken to ensure guests have everything they need to feel at home. Thank you once again for providing such an outstanding holiday experience. We left with wonderful memories and a genuine appreciation for the effort invested in making this property so exceptional. We will certainly look forward to visiting again in the near future and would gladly recommend No. 35, Ribble Valley View to others seeking a relaxing and memorable getaway. With sincere thanks and appreciation, Devendra Sonar Powai, Mumbai, India
Needed a place to stay for a month in the area and Number 35 was perfect.
Spacious and immaculate with great facilities. Enjoyed the peaceful location and great views. Host was receptive and helpful. Particularly appreciated the washer and dryer, comfortable beds, and walk in closet during the long stay.
Beautiful lodge with all mod cons including an air fryer which is something I've missed in other lodges.
Super king bed was really comfy. Soft mattress that suits us perfectly, we struggle with a firm mattress. Beautiful site, easily accessible and very tidy. A lot of thought has gone into this site to keep the spec high. Nice outlook from the decking of fields trees sheep and a babbling brook . Plenty of places to visit roundabout. Only slight criticism is the cinema couch. Although really comfy for TV watching we both found it really difficult to get off. Note we both have arthritis and ailments affecting mobility and did find this a bit problematic but certainly gave us a laugh so not a big issue. Contacted the owner a couple of times and had a reply almost instantly which was brilliant. All in all a lovely lodge, great communication from the owner and very convient location. Thank you so much for loaning us your stunning lodge and good luck with continued bookings. I'm sure you'll do well. Also thank you for the goodies. Very thoughtful.
