• "We had a wonderful stay at your house."

  It was beautifully presented, clean and organised. We loved playing the board games and cards in the evenings. The robes for the hottub are a brilliant idea. The beach and surrounding areas are lovely. It was all super Child and dog friendly.

• "What an amazing house everything is so clean, even as a dog friendly house you would never know dogs had been there, the hard floors throughout are great to keep clean."

  It's is equipped with everything you need. The hot tub is very nice and lovely and private how it has been designed. The EV charging is so helpful as you can plug overnight and not have to waste your days looking and waiting for charging. Gardens are secure for dogs and and garden furniture is very comfy. The beach is only a 2min walk away and is very quiet and unspoilt and great for dogs to run. The beach cafe is lovely too which does a great breakfast. Lovely beach walk up to the North Sea Observatory from the house. Will definitely be back in the winter so will get a chance to use the log burner. Lovely welcome pack on arrival also treats and towels for doggies.

• "What a lovely place."

  Cannot fault anything really. Super comfortable. Great location. Hot tub a bonus. Anderby Creek has a few facilities these days. Beach Cafe serves up the best sponge cakes. Popas bar is ok. Beach is fabulous if a little overrun with dogs but no problems really.

  Beds were extremely comfortable. Whole of property dog friendly. Hot tub easy to use and in great location. Ample parking in two locations. Would definitely recommend.

• "We have just returned from our stay at Beach Haven and have loved our time there."

  A little hitch to begin with regarding privacy but was soon resolved and a big thanks to the owners for their generous goodwill. The house is immaculate throughout with everything catered for. We especially enjoyed the hot tub which has a lovely walkway with lights. Having three children the garden is perfect with enough room to play and seating and bbq. Just a stones throw from the beach and a lovely little cafe and across the road a bar and eatery which is a lovely friendly place. Definitely would return to this property with no hesitation. Lovely chilled surrounding area and a short drive to Skegness..perfect. Thanks again Chris and Angela for a lovely stay.

• "The house is perfect - one of the best we have stayed in."

  Everything is brand new and the house is the cleanest I have seen. The owners have thought of everything you need and provided excellent communication before and after our stay. There is plenty of outside space and private parking. It is also very secure for the dog and the owners provided dog treats, towels and bags for us to use. And then there is the amazing hot tub - lovely to come home to and very private. Anderby Creek is also lovely. It is a small village with a few small caravan sites on and in the summer there is a shop, restaurant and a few pubs with evening entertainment. The beach is a two minute walk and is gorgeous - clean, safe and great for kids and dogs. There are also great walks from the house and you aren't far from the bigger seaside resorts. We visited in February and loved the house and the area We have already booked a week in the summer and can't wait to go back.

• "Spotless and if you like peace and quiet near the most amazing beach this is the one for you."

  We visited early February and it was cold - however the big dreamy hot tub soon warmed our limbs and the log burner kept us cosy. We took our dogs and there were safe areas at the cottage for them also. Lovely communication from owners - book it!

• "A great holiday let in a small and lovely village, with loads of walking options and it's very dog friendly."

  If you already know Anderby Creek, rest assured this is in a prime location for everything you usually do here. If you don't know Anderby Creek, well, come and find out! It's a new let, recently refurbished. The only carpet in the entire house is on the stairs, so it's dog friendly and it's easy to mop up any little doggy footprints that may appear! There's a large kitchen/diner and a separate snug/living room with log burner (very efficient once it's up to temperature too!) to keep warm and cosy on cold nights. The kitchen is well-equipped, the pots and pans are properly non-stick, the knives are actually sharp as well, which is a really good thing to find in a holiday let. There's a good fridge/freezer (makes some quirky noises, but it's very effective!) and dishwasher and the owners leave a nice selection of tea/coffee and biscuits (for both humans and dogs) as well. Out of season, shopping opportunities are limited. Probably the nearest location is the Premier food shop in the Huttoft service station about 8 minutes drive away. Probably best to stock up on food in a big shop on the way in. The only place open at night was the creek tavern in the nearby caravan park, but we didn't venture in as we had brought things with us. Hot tub is brilliant, robes are provided but... DO bring flip-flops or slippers. There is a walk across some sharp stones and a long decking corridor to get to the hot tub. The gardens at the front proved to be dog-secure for our two, who are usually good at finding gaps. The one at the back is well secured, but it isn't a "kick out the back door" type garden, you need to walk across the shared driveway, through a couple of gates and then you're in a secure location with a picnic table. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms and a small shower/loo, which is handy at night. The twin room is narrow but long, lots of room for kids (or even adults, I guess). The king/twin room is a larger room at the back of the house. We didn't try the bed, so can't comment on comfort. We used the front bedroom with a double - one minor criticism is that I think a king size bed would be better here, rather than just a double. It was comfortable enough, but a bit snug! It's a pretty quiet road so you don't get a lot of traffic noise. Off-season at least. Probably would be livelier in holiday season when the caravan park is busy. Loads of great walks nearby - both near the sea and inland. Footpaths all over the place. Lots of wetlands for birds, and endless stretches of sandy beach. Owners were very responsive and sorted out a couple of minor issues quickly. We thoroughly recommend Beach Haven as a holiday let.

• "One of the cleanest and well kept stays we have had with Sykes."

  Lovely new property with all the modern features ie OLED TV with Sky and super hot tub complete with film star walk way. Great location with a very short walk to a lovely stretch of beach. Couple of small things to note: 1. Hot tub was not up to temperature(22 degrees) on the day of arrival (probably not the hosts fault if they have had to do a complete reset due to previous people saying) but a short stay where HT is advertised it should be ready. 2. A cafetière an oven mitt would be helpful and add to the awesome stay.

The cafetière and oven gloves are a great idea thank you! Both have now been purchased. We are so pleased you enjoyed the ‘film star walkway’ to the hot tub which was designed to enhance the overall experience. We have now invested in a secondary heater so that after every clean and refill the hot tub will always be up to temperature and available. • "This is a lovely holiday house in a great location."

  The property has been refurbished to a high standard with all the facilities you would need, and is left very clean. The owners have put lots of thought into the things you might need, and also left us some lovely extras. The hot tub area is an added bonus. The beach is a short walk away. We would definitely consider booking again.

• "Newly refurbished holiday property, just along the road from vast beach."

  House is finished to high standard, and there is a fully secure grassed garden perfect for dogs, and also a fenced in private hot tub area, which is separated from house by a parking space. Hot tub brand new, very very gentle bubble jets. Kitchen well equipped. Lounge has lovely log burner which we didn't use but would be great on colder days. TV isn't connected to an aerial, just streaming services, so you need passwords to any services you subscribe to and remember to log out. Privacy blinds needed at landing and dining room windows which face shared driveway and house next door, owners said they will be installing blinds. Beds variable, we found master bedroom mattress too firm for comfort, we therefore only used rear bedrooms, but mattresses didn't really suit us. Bedroom 2 is the only one with blackout curtains, otherwise curtains thin. Downstairs bathroom large with bath and enclosed shower, lovely. Upstairs shower room, large walk in shower but no heating or towel rail, so we had to use bedroom radiators to dry towels, and would have preferred some heat in bathroom. Owners lovely, responsive and helpful. This is their first holiday let, and is almost perfect. We would recommend this property to anyone visiting this area.

Your helpful notes are greatly appreciated too. Blinds have now been installed in the dining room, kitchen and landing. The main bedroom curtains have now been changed to black out curtains. A radiator has been installed in the upstairs shower room. We will make sure we leave instructions on how to use the Jacuzzi hot tub. There are two settings to select the powerful jets which are via the electronic display and the air bubble circulation is via the two manual controls. The TV has Sky stream which has all the normal channels, along with free Sky cinema, we will make sure instructions on how to use Sky will be in the welcome pack. We went “all out” with the mattresses, all brand new, the master bedroom having a top of the range EMMA which are renowned for comfort. All bedrooms now have full black out curtains. Once again, blessed to have had you stay and our thanks for all your helpful advice. Our best and thanks, we hope to see you again at Beach Haven! Property Owner
