  • "Had a lovely week in a lovely chalet ."

. we couldn’t get onto the Wi-Fi but not sure if that was just us being thick!! The beds were sooo comfortable but I’m afraid the sofa wasn’t.. I suffer with arthritis in my knees and my husband had had a stroke 6 weeks earlier and we both found it too low and too low at the back but it wouldn’t put us off using this chalet again.. everything is there that you would need for a lovely quiet holiday and the milk and biscuits when we arrived was a lovely thought

  • "We had a lovely week long stay over the Easter holidays (2 adults, 2 kids age 13 and 7)."

The property is just the right size for a small family with everything you could need. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom is a good size for a small property and the bathroom facilities are great for a holiday home. A bonus that both bedding and towels are provided and the washing machine in the bathroom is very handy when you have kids (just note it's not a washer/dryer but there is a washing line in the back). The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need including plastic children's plates etc, chopping boards, oven trays, pots & pans etc. There was coffee, tea & sugar also which we didn't use as we always bring our own just in case, but a nice addition. (The owners also left milk and biscuits which was another welcome bonus!) The sofa bed was a big hit with our 7 year old and he chose to sleep there instead of the bunk beds! It's easy to get out and put away and quite comfy for a sofa bed. The weather was good while we were there with only one night being cold enough to need the heaters but the portable radiator provided was enough to heat the whole property fairly quickly. The outside seating area is lovely and the site itself is very nice and well looked after and in close proximity to plenty of shops, restaurants, arcades and activities. I was suprised by how quiet it was considering how close it is to a club and pubs, although you can hear some noise from the street at night while outside it doesn't bother you indoors. Overall we were really pleased with the property and would definitely come again.

  • "This place is a beautiful little place!"

We loved it! Me and my partner went with our 2 patterdales who loved that they left blankets for comfort and Bowels. There was biscuits and milk when we got there so I was really happy after 2 hour drive. We didn’t have any faults at all and gutted we can’t go back as bookings are full for when we wanted! But we will be going back for sure! Quiet little place, perfect for us and our dogs.

  • "This chalet is a good choice for younger folk 'we are both elderly '' the sofas were not comfortable '' too low '' and the beds not comfortable at all."

I washed the bath mats as were quite smelly after a shower' but overall '' adequate and was warm too ' important at this time of year.i think younger folk be best in there 'as they dont look at the same needs as us.

  • "The chalet is on a beautiful site."

Lovely and dog friendly with bowls and covers supplied. Had everything we needed for our stay and was amazed when I found the washing machine!! (I won't tell where). The sofa is a little hard in places, but not uncomfortable and we enjoyed our stay.

Very near to all amenities yet enough out of the way to relax. Number 98 has great facilities, very clean and the owners give a lovely warm welcome. The sitting out area is a lovely little sun trap. We definitely hope to be back again soon.
