Only criticism is ‘would be nice to see the garden areas a little more tidy. The path to the property, which passes the adjoining property, is very overgrown.’ Thank you

Love this place, almost perfect, mini quibble that advertised Wi-Fi was inadequate as I needed it for medical appointment reasons! That said everything else was bob on and would love to return if they will have us

  • "The bungalow was excellent."

wifi was very good. A car is essential as the property is very rural. We do not recommend this property for the infirm, as luggage has to be dragged over a rough 30 yards from car to - bungalow. Frank and Marian

  • "For the good part, the cleaners did an excellent job at cleaning the place."

If you're into stargazing, it is a very good place with very little light pollution. You need a google map to find the place, because my satnav could not find it. It is a bit hidden. Like most Sykes cottages lately they need a bit of TLC. The leg of the table was broken and just temporarily placed back. So when we pulled it everything fell to the floor. There was very little cutlery, the light in the living room was not working, The patio door really needed some WD40. And the mattress needed to be changed, they were not very comfortable. Massive stain on the beige carpet In the Landlord defence maybe he just did not know. So we left him a list, nothing major. But detail to make your stay better. For the money we paid for 2 weeks. We were disappointed. Would we stay again. Yes we would. The dogs loved the beach. Loads of beautiful little churches . It was a quiet stay, but you need a car to get around.

  • "Lovely location, nicely fitted out."

The cottage could do with a few more pieces of cutlery (knives, forks, and teaspoons). Except for that, it had everything we needed. A comfortable holiday cottage!

  • "Shower broke on the first day, three females with long hair made this a problem."

The cottage was advertised as being a walk from the beach, but this was not the case. Shopping in the area was really difficult. No brochures or suggestions for places to visit or eat. Generally feel that you could have done better. Garden needed to be weeded, key safe was very difficult to use.

  • "Spacious and freshly decorated bungalow, located on a quiet road, just minutes from the beach."

The property was warm, comfortable and well-equipped. We particularly enjoyed the wide open views to the rear, coastal walks to Mablethorpe and the open fire. It appears the garage has been removed and replaced with a bay, so parking is not an issue. If you want a secluded and comfortable base to explore the Lincolnshire coast then I recommend booking Fieldview.

  • "Brilliant Location for walkers only short 10 minutes walk from the sea then you can take the coastal path or beach in either direction."

Lovely well equipped cottage very warm and comfortable with stunning view from the back of the sunset. Managed to park in the garage but it is quite narrow and difficult to get out of the car once its parked. Will defiantly visit again next year.

  • "We came home on thursday as the beds were so uncomfortable, otherwise cottage ok."

There were issues regarding parking, instructions were to park in the garage!!! perhaps the garage could be knocked down and a decent parking space could be made! This really wants sorting as it was not a good start to our much needed holiday.

  • "Lovely cottage warm ,comfortable views ."

But on pulling up we were met by next door neighbour who informed us it was her drive and to put i car in garage which was to small for even an average car and we could not leave on drive. We were then informed parking down road which was about 350 yards approx and both cars had to pay £5 a night so extra £40 paid out and the walk back for over 75s was not good. Parking needs to be sorted as comments in visitors book was said each time and some would not go back till sorted, great shame as lovely place.

Wood lice by sofa in conservatory Not Cleaned & not used all week. Dust webs in double bedroom, had to sweep clean with broom. Me and my wife came prepared and did a FULL deep clean within the building ! Garage a disgrace, car would not fit - garage has no doors - roof with 30% roof missing, land outside garage owned by helpful neighbour. Need sorting to continue renting this property. Positive - good heating, showers, bed, lounge & facilities once in a clean environment

  • "This is a new property to the rental market."

Very clean and comfortable accommodation. Very quiet, lovely views over farmland from conservatory. Had some great sunsets. As previously mentioned. Lacks some of usual kitchen utensils.Only 3 side plates for max 4 occupants. WiFi is restricted. Not experienced this before. Access to property is difficult, especially for elderly, disabled. Uneven footpath to gravel & stone front area. Difficult to drag suitcases, etc., over. There is inadequate parking for more than one car. Land, apparently, belongs to neighbour. Garage, mentioned in arrival instructions, is just a ramshackle structure and was too small for our car. Neighbour very understanding, despite ongoing problems property owner. If these issues are sorted out, property will be excellent for all. Very nice week away.

  • "On arrival the fire alarm kept randomly going off."

I called the owner who wasn't particularly concerned or welcoming. He told me to take the battery out or look for tye instructions !!! After my second call and with piercing noise he said i really don't know what to suggust so i asked if anyone intended to come over ?? Eventually i removed it from the ceiling and was told someone would be over on monday to rectify this. I never heard another word upto today when i left. The kitchen equipment was sparse. 1 frying pan, 2 small saucepans and some of the equipment in my case the sandwich toaster was left dirty with caked on old cheese. Worst of all i strongly feel you should change the description regarding wifi usage as when you arrive you learn this is metered and you are not able to watch or download anything from say netflix or amazon. I went for a relaxing week to veg out and catch up on some tv time. I have ended up having to spend £16 for extra wifi allowance on my phone so i could watch my programmes. This should be clearly stated in the description so people can download to watching equipment before leaving home. I have been renting houses like this some from you for the past 11 years never have i experienced this.
