Delightful cottage and garden with very friendly and helpful hosts.

Shop and pub with in easy walking distance, along with bus routes to all principal towns in the area. There is even a chippy 200 yds up the road. Would very much recommend!

Mrs Dales cottage is very charming and full of character the gardens are beautiful kept to a very high standard everything you could want and more the cottage is very comfortable also very clean we had a lovely holiday in kings Lynn and will be returning the hosts Debra & Ian are such lovely people nothing is to much trouble thank you

We had a great time in Norfolk staying at this wonderful cottage.

It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. To get to the very large bedroom you have to go up a few steep steps which are ok as there are rails on both sides, just take it slowly. The only thing I can think of is that it would be helpful for those of us with mobility issues is to have a grab handle in the shower to assist getting in & out otherwise. The garden at the back is very extensive & there is a large pond with lots of coy carp. It’s very peaceful and the road outside is very quiet. The owners Ian & Debra are next door & are very friendly & helpful. All in all a lovely place for a get away.

A lovely stay, relaxed and the owners very helpful.

Clean and everything provided for a self catering holiday. We cannot fault the property, close to Kings Lynn and shops plus much more. Would recommend to family and friends. 5 star!!

This was our second visit to Mrs Dales cottage.

It is a comfortable cottage for 2 well placed for walks and wildlife.

We spent a lovely week in Mrs Dale's cottage which was very comfortable and cosy and had everything we needed.

The hosts went out of their way to make our stay perfect. It was also in a great location for visiting the North Norfolk coast as well as parts of Lincolnshire. We would definitely return to Mrs Dale's cottage.

The owners and hosts, Debra and Ian were welcoming, friendly and always available to help during our stay and happy to offer advice on places to visit and eat. Clenchwarton is ideally situated near Kings Lynn as a base for exploring the historic sites and coastline of North Norfolk.

We had a pleasant stay at the cottage.

Debra and Ian were lovely hosts who work very hard on the upkeep of the cottage and the very peaceful and interesting garden. We only had to mention that a chair in the bathroom would be useful due to our advancing years and hey presto a new chair and rubber mat magically appeared. The stairs are steep but manageable and although included in the rent be aware of the electric lights consumption during your stay! Delicious fish n chips about 200 yards away and Charlotte at the pub is a mine of information. A very peaceful and enjoyable stay.

Garden absolutely delightful with so many things to see. Cottage very comfortable but with rwo observations. 1...steps down from bedroom... especially at night because toilet downstairs... . very tight and difficult to negotiate in dark. 2...Kitchen very small with hardly any available work surface for food preparation.

It's exactly what a cottage should look like. Hosts Ian and Debra are really nice people and so welcoming. Lovely garden with feeders attracting birds and squirrels. We picked a perfect week with glorious weather.

One of the best holiday cottages we've stayed in!

Mrs. Dale's cottage was charming, very clean and exceptionally comfortable. We were lucky with the weather and were therefore able to use the glorious garden, as well as exploring the local area. Debra and Ian were welcoming hosts and should be proud of their property.

There are many lovely little touches with the décor, it is spotlessly clean, comfortable, and has all the facilities needed. The owners, Ian and Debra, are most welcoming, and we loved chatting to them. We have already recommended this property to some friends.

Brilliant from start to finish couldn't fault it.

Everything you need is there. The peace and quiet when you're at the cottage. Then everywhere you want to go isn't to far away. The bus stops at the end of the road to take you to kings Lynn. Then from the bus station anywhere in Norfolk.

This is one of the loveliest cottages we have stayed in.

Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. It was a great base for sightseeing trips. We would highly recommend this cottage and the owners were lovely and looked after all our needs.

Beautiful garden, friendly hosts. Handy for Sandringham, Houghton Hall, several NT properties and North Norfolk beaches. A nice chippy close by.

Saw owners just once when we collected keys.

Only advice received was not to close shower doors too hard otherwise doors would fall off. Knocked their door three times but could not get response, despite them being at home. Even when leaving, they would not answer door and we pushed keys through letterbox. Cottage was clean but not very comfortable and we would not consider returning

A very comfortable property with everything that we needed, as well as access to the owners garden which was a pleasure to explore.

We enjoyed being able to see the birds in the garden and the rather greedy squirrel. The local fish and chip shop is definitely worth a visit too.

An absolutely lovely property equipped with everything that I needed . Very well maintained , very comfortable and spotlessly clean . I loved staying there .

The front room could do with a lamp in/by the fireplace as that part of the room was too gloomy to read in, even with all the other lights on. The fridge doesn’t get cold, so we daren’t buy things to go in it. The bedroom needs a socket or extension near the mirrors, you are limited where you can dry your hair.

Beautiful cottage, very clean, owners welcoming.

Please be aware of low beams but only to be expected in a cottage. Two problems I think renters need to be aware of- you have no control over the central heating- whilst this was ok when we visited in mild weather others may not be so lucky. A calor gas heater is provided as a boost. Lighting is not good in garden if you come into the house in the dark. All that said a lovely cottage with lots of info about the area. Pub 1/2 mile away is now a restaurant with v good food.

We really enjoyed our stay at Mrs Dale's Cottage which was surprisingly spacious!

We had plenty of room to store our walking gear & the whole cottage had a nice, homely feel to it! The cottage was ideally suited for our hobby of geocaching so we didn't have to travel far! The owner's garden is beautiful with a carp pond & cottage style planting with views out to the fields where we spotted deer! The cottage itself is well maintained & spotlessly clean so we would recommend it to anybody!

A very wet and windy weekend allowed me to spend long periods of time curled up snugly indoors. Perfectly happy to stay in and potter about. The owner has provided her customers with excellent quality provisions. Every comfort thought of. Next time I hope to linger in the delightful garden. Will endeavour to choose a sunny week.

If I could give this cottage more than 5 stars, I would.

It is, by far, the cleanest and most well appointed holiday home I have ever stayed in. The hosts were friendly and helpful. It's in a quiet location if you're looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay. Just watch the low beams!

Our only reservation was the steep stairs to the loo in the night!

But we knew there were stairs, and I blame my old knees, not anyone else. Otherwise the cottage was lovely and the garden very lovely. We would highly recommend it to family and friends.

Dale's cottage is by far the best we've ever stayed in. It was scrupulously clean, very well equipped and there was nothing we could fault. It was so relaxing being able to sit in the wonderful garden after a day out. The owners were extremely welcoming without being at all intrusive. We'd definitely recommend the cottage.

A great quiet location on the very edge of this small village, and with a lovely cottage garden in which to enjoy the sun. We found the bed to be probably the most comfortable we have ever slept in, leaving you feeling very refreshed in the morning. Loved coming down in the morning and seeing the birds, squirrel and sometimes young deer in the garden.

Mrs Dale’s cottage is a fantastic little hideaway, situated on the very edge of the countryside.

Debra the owner had a very warm and friendly welcome for us when we arrived nothing was to much trouble. The cottage has everything you could wish for and more, the cleanliness and facilities are exceptional. The garden is a haven for wildlife, during our stay we saw a wide verity of wildlife in the garden from an array of small birds to a muntjac dear early one morning. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we will see you again in the future.

Stairs are quite steep and narrow tread,need to take care.

Mrs Dales Cottage is really lovely.

We have been back twice now. We used to live in this area and it’s ideal for visiting friends and family who still live here. The cottage is cosy and comfortable and immaculately clean. Debra and Ian, the owners, live next door and have lovingly restored the cottage. It’s a real chocolate box cottage outside and full of beams and old world character inside. The bathroom and kitchen are modern and have everything you need for a really comfortable stay. The garden is full of birds, squirrels and the odd deer. The cottage is on a bus route between Kings Lynn and Spalding, both lovely towns with plenty to do. Snettisham bird reserve is not far and wonderful to watch the geese, while Sandringham is also only a short drive away, we really miss all the walks in the woods there. Debra and Ian make you feel very welcome and are on hand if you need anything. You can’t go wrong with Mrs Dale!

Mrs Dales cottage was amazing!

So refreshing to stay in a cottage with all the character retained with just the right ammount of modern necessities. It was wonderful to see the photo diary of the work undertaken here. The cottage was absolutely spotlessly clean right through and the bed was a struggle to get out of because it was sooo comfortable. We stayed for 5 nights over the new year break and the added little extras made it even more special down to some xmas decorations in the lounge and outside. The only thing i would change would be the settee, whilst the one that was there is totally inkeeping with the character and is comfortable, you can't snuggle up on it and lounge....but maybe thats just us. In all, to put it simply... Perfect.!

It’s a little cottage next to the owners cottage. They are on hand if you need anything, we didn’t, the cottage is so well equipped and cosy. Debra keeps the cottage immaculately clean but her love for the cottage shows in every part of it. It’s in a lovely part of the country and I was watching the deer in the garden. We have just moved from the Norfolk countryside and I shall miss it, it’s so lovely. Please visit Mrs Dales Cottage, you won’t be disappointed, and Debra is really lovely. We will back.

They offered use of their garden and told us to help ourselves to grapes and veg in green house. Home from home. Thank you

The best part was the friendliness and helpfulness of the owners,who lived next door; they had a huge and spectacular garden, which they insisted we share; this included helping ourselves to any of the produce growing there!

They also directed us to a fantastic local butcher, plus of course, things to see within easy reach. It all helped to make the holiday really relaxing.

A very comfortable small cottage in a semi rural location with lovely gardens shared with the very friendly owners next door.

The stairs are quite steep with narrow treads, so care is required. The fridge is small, so shopping has to be planned accordingly. The bird life is amazing! Also other wildlife eg bats, hedgehogs & deer have been seen on occasion. A good chip shop is only 100 yards away, also a well-stocked village shop/post office.

Nicely renovated period cottage set in pretty gardens.

A good layout with cosy living downstairs and large bedroom upstairs. We found everything we needed in the cottage, and the owners next door were very willing to help with any needs. Newly installed shower was one of the best we have encountered. Only concern were some low doorways, as you would expect in an old cottage, so being quite tall I needed to "duck" to pass through.

Plenty of extras were supplied in the cottage such as bread, milk and butter. The garden was not at its best due to the early season and the weather so go in summer if possible. It does say in the cottage description the pub and shop were five minutes walk, sorry more like fifteen.
