The owners put so much effort into this cabin / trailor and its surrondings with a lot attention to detail. Highly recommendable.

  • "Twit Twoo is an absolute gem - totally as advertised and oh so much more."

Spot on with cleanliness, facilities and comfort ( especially the bed which is extremely comfy ) - the outdoor area and seating is amazing with sun coming in and shaded area if wanted - along with the wood fired hot tub which heats up so well. The setting is perfect totally private and set in a lovely village. Owner Louise is so very helpful - very quick with any reply and added bonus of extra information on things going on in the local area at time of visit if of interest …. I would recommend this Shepherds Hut stay 100% and most definitely will be returning xx Andrea Clementine & Winnie Dog xx

Thank you very much for leaving us such a wonderful first review! We really appreciate you noticing all the extra little touches we have tried to add in for our guests. We hope to have the pleasure of hosting you again in the future. Kindest regards Louise Property Owner

The property

Resting on the outskirts of Lincolnshire, in the coastal village of North Somercotes is Twit Twoo Shepherds Hut, a delightful abode offering an alternative and fun staycation. Just paces away from a host of local amenities and a short journey from the beach, the Hut offers guests a luxury open plan interior, with a homely seating area to relax in, foldaway dining table, separate bathroom and king size bed with plenty of storage.

A large pet-friendly garden with a 4 seater wood fired hot tub, the accommodation invites two visitors for a relaxing getaway, with a furry companion in tow. Travel down the private shared driveway and park up in your space before entering the well-equipped Luxury Shepherds Hut, providing everything that you'll need for a self-catered stay, including a fully equipped kitchenette with an electric oven and hob enabling you to cook a full roast dinner if you desire, an integrated fridge and a convenient breakfast bar with USB charging sockets!

If you'd prefer to dine alfresco, enjoy the private rear garden, complete with a barbecue.

You may also enjoy an indulgent soak in the bubbling wood fired hot tub with lights and jets, the swing chair whilst you relax and take a nap or read a book, the love seat for morning tea and coffee, and the outdoor fire pit with circular seating for those late nights listening to nature.

A Tawny Owl regularly takes up residence in the garden at night time and will no doubt let you know when he is there and the property attracts an abundance of other animals at times such as pheasants, geese, baby Roe deer, foxes, hedgehogs and moles!

Refresh in the sleek shower room, ahead of cosying up in the armchairs and put your feet up in front of the woodburning hobbit stove and enjoy some down time!

Later, climb into the plush king size bed with a deep filled mattress, and catch up on your favourite movies with the smart TV.

Awaken feeling refreshed and spend a day exploring your surroundings, starting with a hike across one of many nature reserves enveloping the area; choose from Donna Nook Grey Seal Colony, Rimac Nature Reserve, and Gibraltar Point, all peppered with wildlife.

Make your way towards the Lincolnshire Wolds AONB, firstly stopping off at the quaint market town of Louth and take in a Museum Tour, or wander through Hubbard's Hills for a breath-taking vantage point and stroll along the meandering stream.

Also visit Willingham Woods which is nestled in the Wolds close to Tealby village and stop for lunch at the oldest thatched roof pub/restaurant in Lincolnshire.

Spend another day at Cleethorpes Beach and enjoy award-winning fish and chips on the pier, then aboard a steam train on the coastal light railway for a fun experience, brush up on your local knowledge at the Time Trap Museum, or explore the local country park in Cleethorpes.

Continue south towards both Mablethorpe and Skegness beaches; both recommended to visit for a host of seaside attractions or stay closer to the cottage and visit Saltfleetby-Theddlethorpe Dunes which is an area of specific scientific interest or just around the corner walk the King Charles III England Coastal Path Donna Nook where seals can be seen November through to January when they come to birth their pups. Twit Twoo Shepherds Hut really does offer a luxury, quirky break away from it all, embracing outdoor living with eco elements with lovely countryside rambles across the Wolds and coastal days out, as well as the opportunity to just relax and unwind in your own private garden!
