  • "Absolutely STUNNING!"

!!, AWESOME!!! OUTSTANDING!!! BEAUTIFUL!!! Having stayed in quite a few self catering cottages now, we have to say this is SIMPLY THE BEST!!!!!! Words can not describe enoughy just how AMAZING this cottage is! It is the BEST equipped cottage we have ever stayed in, and was just sooooo well kept, sooo clean, sooo........ You have to experience this cottage for yourself to see what I am talking about!!! And Sharon the host made it too - soooo friendly, warm and just a really lovely person letting you know where she was if you needed her!! If we could have given 10 stars it wouldn't be enough!!

  • "Beautiful cottage in a lovely quiet village."

Sharon the owner met us with a very welcoming greeting. The cottage was immaculate and Sharon had lit the woodburner as it was a bit chilly being April. Everything was provided. It was homely and cosy and a perfect size. We visited many places that Sharon had recommended and also there was so much information left in the cottage about local attractions. It was nice to come back to the cottage after a day touring the Lincolnshire Wolds and it really felt like home. In short it is the best equipped holiday cottage we have stayed in. The garden is perfect and features flowerbeds and a large lawned area with seating and a bistro set to dine outside. The utility room was well equipped with washing facilities. Each room in the cottage was warm with underfloor heating. The photo restoration book was fascinating. The church in the village was opposite the cottage and open too A short walk away offers fantastic walks and views across the Wolds for miles. We will return to Lizzies Cottage, We would like to thank Sharon for a perfect break in a beautifly presented cottage, in fact we were sad to leave it and we could easily live there given the opportunity!!! . Cannot be faulted and highly recommended.

The cottage was comfortable and really well equipped. The owners had gone to a lot of trouble to ensure that the property was COVID safe. There was also loads of information about the area which was really useful. We would highly recommend Lizzie's Cottage.

The owners couldn’t do enough for us. Unfortunately Sykes let us and them down by their terrible customer service and annoying hassles of contacting us whilst still on holiday. Wish we had booked direct

Thank you for your feedback. We are pleased you were so happy with the property and location and that the owners went to such efforts to make your stay a pleasant one. I am sorry you had to queue a while to get some questions answered and that you felt hassled by the emails we sent before the end of your stay. We always aim to provide very high customer service standards so apologise if that was not the case on this occasion. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. Property Owner

It is a beautifully renovated old building - a workshop I believe. It is exceptionally well equipped and even has a good sized garden for you to sit in. The surrounding countryside is really lovely and it is very well situated for exploring The Wolds. The area is wonderfully quiet and peaceful.

Beautifully renovated to a high standard and spotlessly clean. Very well equipped, a lot of thought and hard work has gone into making this a perfect holiday cottage. A lovely garden with fabulous view of the countryside. Lots to do nearby, we had some great days out exploring a very quiet and unspoilt area of Lincolnshire.

  • "Beautifully updated cottage, set in a small but very friendly village."

Much better garden and views than the website pictures appeared to show. Well equipped, including BBQ and sun chairs. Only disappointing aspect is the twin beds: a cottage for two would have been more appropriate I think. Otherwise a fab if small cottage.

  • "We chose this because of the name (same as my wife's’), but little did we know that we would find such a perfect hideaway."

The fixtures and fittings are to a very high standard and everything has been thought of. Inside, the cottage feels much bigger than its outside dimensions would lead you to expect. Additionally there is an outside wash house (where we kept our bikes) and a lovely private garden. The owners are very helpful and anxious to ensure that any problems that might be encountered are put right immediately. They are just a phone call away. There is lots to do in the area and a number of excellent local pubs for evening meals if you tire of self-catering. Lizzie’s Cottage is situated in the Lincolnshire Wolds, rolling hills cut from the underlying limestone, chalk and sandstone. It is agriculturally rich. The coastline provides miles of beach with good swimming, highly suited to families, as well as some of the finest wetlands in Britain which attract migrant birds which can be observed in places such as Gibralter Point. The only problem will be finding a space in the calendar because once the word gets out guests will flock to this great cottage. One word sums up Lizzie’s Cottage - Excellent.
