The Granary

Our second visit this year, a most wonderful place to stay.

The house is spotlessly clean and very well equipped with everything you would need. Each room has its own theme, and the owner has furnished them to a very high standard. The mixture of colours and patterns blend perfectly. Outside, the garden has an air of tranquility, and a nature lovers haven. Peacocks freely roam the garden, horses graze in the field next to the garden, birds, rabbits, deer and many more are visitors. There are many interesting places to visit in the Boston area, which makes it an ideal base. The owner is very approachable and willing to assist, and deserves high praise for the very high standard she has maintained throughout. We will be back again!

A beautiful cottage with everything you need.

Set in a lovely area. Large secure garden which was great for the dogs. Peacocks visiting every day, which is a first and rather wonderful. Beautifully decorated. We all felt rather spoilt.

If you love nature, peace and tranquility, its here in abundance.

Trees, birds, horses, peacocks etc all within the garden and surrounding stable. The house is stunning, the cleanliness and decor is of the highest standard. Each room has its own style, the kitchen has a farmhouse kitchen theme, and here is every implement you will need. The host is very approachable and helpful and deserves praise for maintaining such a high standard.

We had a fantastic family break at this beautiful holiday home.

It was peaceful, clean, and exceptionally well stocked with everything you could possibly need. It really felt like a home away from home. We loved every minute of our stay and have already booked to come back later this year! Highly recommended

Had a great stay last week, helped and hindered by the heat wave (couldn't do the long afternoon walks due to the heat) however the excellent grounds were a haven in the sunshine.

The house was excellent, great welcome basket from Nicky, and a very pleasant stay indeed. We have already booked for next spring. The grounds are well enclosed for the dogs (Beagles unsurprisingly), were very attracted to the horse poo in the stable yard however, so a little bit of netting might be added to the bottom of the five bar gate maybe.

The Granary was perfect for our family meet up, it felt like a home from home.

The quality of furnishings was far superior to the majority of holiday cottages we have stayed at. The property was in a very peaceful location with extensive gardens and beautiful views. We felt like a lot of thought, time and love had be gone into making the property a very special place. Would definitely recommend.

A perfect getaway to bring family together for 70th birthday. As december it was decorated in every room for Christmas which was fabulous. We would stay again.

We recently stayed at The Granary and we had a great time.

The property was spotless with everything we needed for our 10 night stay. Our daughter loved the gaming room and the dog was spoilt with endless games of fetch in the secure garden. Highly recommend Anderby Creek beach which was about a 50 minute drive.

We had a wonderful stay at The Granary.

It’s set in a beautiful, remote location with tranquil surroundings, and it was a delight to see peacocks and ponies roaming freely around the property. Every little detail has been carefully thought out, with plenty of thoughtful touches and hidden extras. It was the perfect place to spend quality time with our extended family. Having rented holiday homes for nearly 30 years, I can honestly say this was by far the best experience we've ever had.

It was absolutely perfect for our family and our dogs. The place was spotless and wonderfully decorated, which made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Every comfort we could possibly need was thoughtfully provided, making our stay relaxing and enjoyable. The contact with our dear host, Nicky, was also very nice—she was so helpful and made the whole process smooth and pleasant. We would definitely recommend this lovely house to anyone looking for a comfortable, family- and dog-friendly getaway.

Absolutely stunning house in a beautiful setting with lots to do & see nearby.

The young ones loved the Horses & the nightly visits by the Peacocks…. also the games room and the outdoor play area. While the adults loved the beautiful house & gardens which were both spacious & a delight to enjoy. Totally recommended!

The Granary was amazing , without doubt the best place we have stayed in with Sykes.

Luxurious, beautifully decorated and super gardens. It was just what we were looking for , very relaxing and remote but near enough to use as a base for trips out. Would definitely recommend and return.

The property is beautiful and you have everything you need to make a perfect stay.

The garden is large and to top it you have the ponies. Our 2 dogs fell in love with them. The welcome pack was great especially the lovely lemon drizzle cake. One recommendation is that on booking where it says pet friendly you include that they are not to go upstairs. Our girls have beds upstairs so it meant one of our party slept downstairs. I've put that but if we had known we would never have experienced the great week in your lovely place.

The Granary is a beautiful, spacious property that is spotlessly clean.

A large garden complete with swings and climbing frame makes it ideal for guests with children. All the bedrooms are very comfortable and the bathrooms beautifully appointed. We loved the kitchen with its large table, so never felt the need to use the more formal dining room. The two downstairs toilets were very useful, particularly for our small grandchildren and the games room with its Space Invaders and Pac-Man machines was a huge hit with all the generations. There was a lovely welcome basket of goodies in the kitchen with a delicious cake. The location is peaceful and rural, which is exactly what we wanted and we’ll definitely be returning next year. Thank you Nicky for a wonderful stay.

This is an absolutely amazing property in a beautiful location.

The house is styled to perfection and is ideal in every way. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend The Granary.

We had a fabulous time at The Granary especially as we had booked at the last minute.

Nicky was wonderful and provided us with everything we could possibly need including a fabulous welcome basket which was so very welcome after a crazy drive up from London where we hit every possible road work/delay we could. The house was spotless and that kitchen was an absolute dream to cook in. I had the best time preparing meals for my family and chatting away with my husband and baby. The house was so beautifully decorated with Christmas around the corner that we felt like we were living in a movie rather than real life. Outside we had peace and quiet, our neighbours were some lovely horses and ponies and a flock of peacocks who wander around the property. We had the best time here and we would love to return in summer when our little one can use the outdoor play set and run around. Such an absolutely wonderful house and truly Nicky has provided more than a home away from home.

The property was beautiful inside & out.

We had a lovely stay and would love to visit again anytime but it would be lovely to visit in the summer so we can enjoy the outdoors a little more. The kids (especially my youngest) loved seeing the peacocks, horses & ponies! We are a family who love to cook and everything we could of needed was there to hand. Absolutely fabulous!

The house is decorated and furnished to a very high standard, real quality and so tastefully done. The house was warm when we arrived and decorated everywhere with Christmas decorations. The trees, lit when we arrived were so welcoming. A big thank you to Nikky for a great stay.

What can I say but immaculate!

When you read reviews and see the photos you have a slight doubt that it’s not as good as everyone says, however let me tell you it’s better than you can ever imagine. The thought of what everyone would need or want has been thought of just brilliant. You walk in and find a clean and welcoming home. The owner Nicky was always helpful to answer questions whenever needed, you even get a welcoming basket of goodies on arrival. A peaceful and restful stay not a bad word can be said. We certainly will book again. Thank you Nicky for providing a wonderful house in a perfect setting. Outstanding!

We had a wonderful family weekend, everything was as described.

Very comfortable, lovely decor which also felt user friendly. We were all very happy to have rented the property.

Well what a wonderful stay we all had at the Granary ( 6 adults, 3 kids and a dog).

We was blown away with what we saw as we drove up the driveway. The garden is lovely and secure and a great space for the kids and the dog to run around in or play games in or chase and terrorise grandad as our 3 little monsters did haha. The house inside is simply gorgeous and lots of room. The beds in all bedrooms were so comfy. Everywhere was spotless. Kids loved the games room. Lovely visits off the Peahens and their babies , loved their regular routines seeing them roosting on the wall in the evenings getting ready for bedtime. Some great places to visit not to far of a drive away. Wolds Wildlife Park 30 mins, Springfields Adventure Land 25 mins, Skegness 40 mins. RAF Coningsby ( see the Eurofighter Typhoons taking off and landing ) 20 mins drive. Would love to return in the future. Fantastic place.

The Granary was a fabulous home to spend our family holiday.

The welcome pack was the best we have had & the lemon cake was demolished in no time. We could not fault the Granary, the garden was perfect for the grandkids & dogs. We had such a chilled week. We will be back for another great family holiday

What a wonderful place!

We booked here for a week together with my best friend and her family and it was simply wonderful. The Granary is warm, welcoming and so well equipped we wanted for nothing. We forgot to bring the iPads for the children and they had so much fun in the garden the iPads were not mentioned all week. On arrival we were greeted with the wonderful hamper and a fabulous lemon cake and 2 families of peacocks. The Granary is amazing and if you want a wonderful relaxing holiday in luxury the book before you miss out! We can’t recommend it enough. Thank you Nicky for sharing your beautiful Granary!

We stayed at the granary for 10 nights in July, and while there, we celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary!

! It was amazing.. we felt so at home, and Nikki was so lovely and helpful. I am still sulking due to having to leave!! Everything was just so perfect! The food hamper was lovely

Loved the stay and the small touches like the wine and dog treats but the star of the show was the lemon cake that was made for us .

The whole family loved every minute .

The property and facilities provided were excellent, the garden swing was such a hit with the wife we bought one, the games room was a hit wit the boys and me….

Second visit to this fabulous property.

It is so much nicer than the pictures portray. We were pleased with the welcome pack, the lemon drizzle cake hit the mark! It is a clean, comfortable space. Definitely home from home. The kitchen is well equipped and there were many new additions since our last visit. There is a lovely garden pod that seats four which provided cover for those days where there was drizzle and it was a bit blustery. The dog loved the enclosed garden. There are good pubs and nice walks, what more could you want?

This property is amazing, even better than the description and photos.

There was no fuss over who got "the best room" as all the bedrooms were beautiful and both bathrooms were lovely, with each having a bath and walk in shower. The lounge was super comfy and cosy (photo needs updating as the sofa is even nicer than the one in the picture), the kitchen had every gadget you could possibly wish for and the welcome pack was very generous (amazing lemon drizzle cake being one of the many things included). We were lucky to have some good weather so made use of the very comfortable garden furniture whilst the dogs explored the huge secure garden. The utility room was an unexpected pleasant surprise as was the little courtyard. We all loved playing Pacman and space invaders in the games room - took us right back to our pub nights in the 80s! The dining room was another room we made lots of use of; as with the other rooms, it was beautifully decorated and furnished. Great for ageing couples like us through to young families (loads of board games plus lots of outdoor games). There wasn't a single thing in this house that we could fault and we'd definitely recommend it.

It was perfect for our group - 3 families with little kids with enough space for us to not feel like we were on top of each other, and the garden was wonderful too. The kitchen was fab and had everything we needed and more, and the goodies left for us were so appreciated and thoughtful. We definitely hope to book in another stay - we really loved it so a big thank you for having us.

The Granary is an absolute delight.

Clean, spacious, furnished to a very high standard, peaceful, this has been one of the most relaxing breaks I have ever taken. I would highly recommend staying there.

A very clean, comfortable property.

Quality furnishings and a superb kitchen. Bedrooms are a very good size as is the ensuite and main bathroom. The gardens are ideal for children/dogs as they are fully enclosed with stock fencing. Great location in a quiet area yet only 5 miles from Boston.

Wow what can we say the house has everything you could possible need, everything is nice and clean and fresh.

Garden is huge and has plenty to keep the kids busy. The local horses and peacocks were a favourite of our girls. Located just outside of Boston in a really quiet spot but close enough to plenty of things to do, we will defiantly be looking to return later on in the year

The house was amazing all the little extra touches made it very special, this is the first time being away for Christmas and we loved every minute of it.

The owners were amazing very helpful and nothing was too much trouble . The pictures of the house don’t do it justice it’s stunning, spotless comfortable ,warm and inviting! The house was decorated beautifully for Christmas. Will definitely be back next year ! Karen & Terry

I would highly recommend this house to stay in.

So many little touches for a welcome such a bread, butter and milk and even something for the dogs that we took as well. We walked in and the smell was beautiful and the place was immaculate. The decor was beautiful and nothing was in need of repair. The appliances and equipment in the kitchen there is plenty of. We took our own coffee percolator but there was one there already! We went for my sisters birthday for December and there were 2 beautifully decorated trees already in place which was so sweet. The house was amazing and my dad wants to book again for the summer :). Thank you so much for providing such a beautiful house for our weekend away we couldn’t be happier. Already looking to book again for another event in Feb 24.

Brilliant property especially if you like peace and quiet.

Great location. We would return at the drop of a hat. There were eight of us and a small baby. We were all catered for very well. Granddaughter loved the games room best. Kitchen was very well equipped and clean as was the whole cottage. Lounge very comfortable, dining room we were able to get everyone comfortably around the table. Ample parking. We had three cars, but room for more. Large garden and fully enclosed rear garden. We have stayed in a few cottages and The Granary is by far the best. Ray.

There was ample room for everyone with large rooms and gorgeous decor. The setting was peaceful and idyllic with lots of outside space, which the kids enjoyed and the games room, which the dad's enjoyed! Seeing the horses and the peacocks was a great feature! We visited Ingoldmells for a day trip and ate at Grahams Arms (I think) which had excellent food at a reasonable price. Would definitely visit again, thank you! Clare x

My family and I spent a lovely week at the Granary.

It was perfect for us all, plenty of space and the facilities in the kitchen were great. We received a delicious cake and a goodies on arrival which was so unexpected. The owner provides a beautiful holiday home , and it was a joy to see the animals including the wild life . The places we wanted to visit were all with in an hours drive some less.

LOvely house and gardens.

So well equipped kitchen. Clean and comfortable. Loads of indoor and garden games to choose from, children had a great time on the climbing frame/swings. Peacocks a great source of fun.

This is a lovely property in a lovely setting.

The house was spotless with every electrical appliance you could wish for - both large and small. We have all enjoyed our stay. I would like to say how spacious the property is and this is good when you have mixed age groups.

Lovely large house which comfortably fitted the 8 of us (6 adults and 2 kids).

Very clean all over, good WIFI which pleased the kids, excellent kitchen facilities and a very spacious garden. The games room was a nice extra along with the homemade lemon drizzle cake. Would definitely recommend this house to others. Also walked to the the Wheatsheaf pub a couple of times (25 mins each way) and it does great food.

From a detailed check-in to the lovely bottle of wine and home made drizzle cake, everything was perfect.

.. Quality furnishings, plenty of parking, every conceivable kitchen utensil and accessory you can imagine! Toys and games aplenty. The Pheasents and Horses were a bonus! Glorious weather was also a bonus .. I'd have not hesitation in recommending this glorious property for a well deserved break. Just perfect.

Wonderful cottage with everything you need for a break away, the kitchen is to die for with 2 full size ovens and plenty of pots and pans etc for cooking.

All the rooms are very spacious and well fitted out. Our children and dog loved playing in the garden and when inside they spent lots of time in the games room. The peacocks were very beautiful but they did make quite a lot of noise. We would definitely recommend the cottage as there is plenty of space for 8 people.

The home is like home from home and more!

!! They have thought of everything! From a super hot chocolate for the little ones to a wake me up coffee. There's plenty of space, without feeling crowded. Myself as a family of four and my sister as a family of four, had the lovely time playing games, in the games room.. even the bigger boys! A lovely selection of bored games too. We hardly had the TV on which was just fabulous. Beautiful gardens to play games and sit with a glass of wine just soaking up some fresh air, sun, and the views of the beautiful horses out side. As the children played on the tree house and football. The home was clean, tidy and well maintained, and we had enough towels for all of us, all to a lovely quality. A very special treat was to have home made cake on arrival and bread. Was so lovely. All fabulous we will certainly be booking again. Many thanks x

Excellent stay at The Granary, lovely house, warm , inviting , comfortable and the cleanest property we have ever stayed in.

Set in beautiful surroundings, a week here is just what we were after (family of four + dog). The welcome pack was very plentiful along with the beautiful cake that greeted us on arrival. We highly recommend this property.

Lovely property ,well equipped with everything you could want and a cosy and homely feel throughout even though the property is so roomy.

There were thoughtful touches with nice little extras with goodies waiting for us which made us feel very welcome as did the cat, ponies and peacocks who were very friendly. We ate twice at the local pub, "the wheatsheaf," situated just a mile down the road and both times the food was good tasty hearty fare and the welcome and service was spot on. The staff there were genuine and friendly. A lovely quiet spot with no light pollution and within reasonable driving distance to lots of different places. We travelled as a couple so there was oodles of place but would also recommend this a a great place for a small group of family or friends to use as there holiday base. My hubby was a bit disappointedthat WiFi was a bit sketchy but with tp links all round the house acknowledged how hard the owners had tried to bring WiFi convenience to a remote part of the countryside. I for one did not miss the WiFi one bit.

I booked this property as a surprise weekend treat for my wife so that our family of seven adults and one under three could all be together to celebrate her birthday .

The property is exceptional , it had everything we needed and more , extremely well equipped, a kitchen to "die for" , and in particular both informal and formal dining areas. The house was spotless and unfortunately my wife has come away with lots of decorating ideas .lol. The gardens including the animals and the play area entertained my grandson for hours. We loved it, well done to Nicky . p.s many thanks for the wine and the cake , very much appreciated.

We couldn't have wished for a better place to stay over the Christmas period.

Our host had gone to great lengths to make our stay feel as festive as possible. There were 2 christmas trees and all of the downstairs rooms had a hint of Christmas about them. There were even stocking over the fireplace. The welcome gifts were a complete surprise but very welcome and thoughtful. Our host replied swiftly to any questions and were swift to sort out any issues. We will most certainly be returning

We stayed at the Granary with friends to celebrate my wife's Birthday, with a number of surprises.

The property was in immaculate condition with everything we needed for a wonderful week. We would not hesitate to recommend the property and would certainly look to revisit the property when the weather is a little warmer than this last week when the temparature dropped to -6.

This was our second time at The Granary and we would highly recommend it.

This is a really great property decorated and furnished to a high standard.

There is everything you need available within the house and the owners made sure it was spotlessly clean when we arrived. Highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area.

The property was stylish and cosy.

Nicky had thought of everything we could need and the standard of cleanliness was exceptional. We were blown away by the Kitchen and the fact that there was even an Airfryer and a Slow Cooker we could use. The welcome pack was much appreciated especially the home made cake.

The Granary was the perfect peaceful cottage for a family reunion with ages from 4 to 75.

We also had 1 well behaved cockerpoo with us and to arrive at a 'dog friendly' cottage that actually was, was quite refreshing. Understand the need for rules but too many cottages have rules for dog owners that are just about impossible to follow. The Granary is stunning! Communication with the owner was quick and easy. The cake, milk, bread, wine and other delights were much appreciated. Our 4 year old loved the wooden Jenga blocks and spent the weekend building with them when she could. My son and his wife loved the football and goal posts! We would love to stay again and highly recommend this beautiful cottage!

Beautiful property, there were eight if us plus a dog.

It is an immaculately clean property, fully stocked kitchen. Beautiful bathrooms with very comfortable and spacious bedrooms. There is even a games room! We were so lucky with the weather, so we enjoyed the spacious garden every day. The dog literally refused to come I to the house, he was mesmerised by the peacock family and enjoyed banter with the dogs living in the next property. It was truly a week of fun and laughter. Thankyou for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Easily the best cottage we have had the pleasure to stay at.

Every aspect of the accomodation was of the highest standard. Only one minor issue we experienced was the height of the cooker hood which I constantly his my head on just above eye level. For any 6 footer it is the source of some pain whilst cooking.

Overall the cottage was fantastic.

We all the family members enjoyed a lot. Will come back again soon.

Outstanding accommodation.

The Granary is spacious, comfortable and very well appointed. It has fresh and clean modern decor throughout. It is set in an accessible green open space of its own. It is situated off a quiet rural road and is ideal for a peaceful retreat. At the same time Boston and the surrounding small towns can be reached easily by car. We were greeted with a generous welcome package which even included a large (and delicious!) home made cake. The owners were easy to communicate with and extremely helpful. Highly recommended!

A lovely house.

.... so well equipped.... very clean. Lots of space..... nice extras on arrival. Easy, safe areas outside for when dog needed to go out. Couple of issues Nicky was very easy to communicate with. Visited Tattershall Castle, Boston Stump (although tower was closed.... it closes if the wind is more than 19mph), local driving range. Jenny Woods was a nice open place to walk.... kids enjoyed the gym trail.... and made up paths good for prams/wheelchairs

Our stay at The Granary was fabulous from start to finish!

The house and land/garden surrounding exceeded our expectations. It was clean, spacious and well kept. The Granary feels like a home away from home. We particularly enjoyed the fire place, roll top bath, and spacious kitchen and living room. Our two dogs enjoyed the trip as well with plenty of our door space for them to run around. Nicky, the host, was great too. Excellent communication and available throughout our stay to provide info and recommendations. We would highly recommend a stay at The Granary, you won’t be disappointed.

The property was perfect for us, plenty of room for the children to run about.

Very large cottage with lots of outdoor spaces. Very clean and airy!

The owners left us a wonderful starter pack for when we arrived at the property.

We were greeted by fresh milk, bread, lots of treats and a home baked cake. That’s just the icing! The property is amazing, outside and in, everything has been thought about and catered for. It’s also clean, decorated beautifully and with quality furnishings. You really feel the love in every single room within this home and it’s a true home away from home.

This cottage is very private with its own separate individual driveway with very private gardens.

Inside the cottage contains everything you need and feels like a new home. Hope to return in the spring. David and Ingrid
