  • "Excellent welcome pack."

Good position but sat-nav essential. Bathroom further away from bedrooms than we would have liked for our particular circumstances but no problem for most people. Plenty of things to do even for the less active (with proper research) We wished we were younger and fitter to get the best from the area, but that always happens. Over all we had a great time not least because of wonderful weather.

Jean one of the owners greeted us as we arrived which was lovely. We had a lovely hamper awaiting us when we entered containing may goodies, this was much appreicated. Everything seems to have been thought of inside the cottage and the smart tv is a great idea. Lots to do within a 20 miles radius, The Waggon and Horses pub 1.5 miles down the road is a great local pub serving delicious food. Also the Lincolnshire Aviation musuem is well worth a visit. • "What a lovely place to stay in."

Obviously being relatively new everything was immaculate, from the standard of the decoration to the quality of the furnishings. Very spacious and comfortable, with lovely views across the fields. Being very cold when we stayed in January we woke to find frosts most mornings, which made the scenery even more lovely. Although the property is close to the road it is extremely quiet as the road is not a main or busy road at all, all we heard was the occasional tractor go by as it is a rural and remote setting. So this is a perfect place to stay if you wish a peaceful and tranquil stay. The owners who live on site provided a very warm welcome, and were there if you needed them (not that we did), but other than on arrival they leave you alone and you have your own driveway and entrance gate. A very generous welcome pack was provided which included amongst other things a bottle of wine, some delicious plum bread, crisps and freshly laid eggs from their chickens they keep on their land. Highly recommended, and would not hesitate to stay again.

My family and I had an amazing stay with hosts that couldn't do enough for us and also provided a lovely welcome pack. All you could possibly need for a stay is included and spotlessly clean. Beds were very comfortable too. The location is perfect for relaxing it's so quiet, very rarely any cars pass by. There are plenty of places to eat in Louth the greyhound Inn being our favourite and the waggon and horses being the local pub which seemed very popular with locals for food. Lincoln is not too far away and the Aqua park there was a fun experience. Beautiful quiet beaches of Marsh yard and Moggs eye are only 20-25 minutes drive. Skegness is 25 minutes too with arcades etc available for the kids to enjoy. We all had a fantastic time and our 9yr old daughter loved visiting the chickens everyday. You would not regret a stay at the new build.
