Long Acres

The only thing that was a little annoying,was there were not any curtains in the bedrooms,only blinds,hence once it was daylight we were woken up at about 4am.

Apart from that,everything else was great.

Loved the cottage!

What a fabulous conservatory as well! So spacious and well equipped. The owners are friendly and the adjacent tourist park is very rural and tranquil. I watched sheep in an adjacent field having a sit down alongside a beautiful horse. Thank you for such a lovely stay.

A very enjoyable stay in Long Acres it’s so peaceful and relaxing.

Plenty to do in the local area too. Highly recommended.

Wonderful place to stay, peaceful,relaxing,& certainly a place we would return to.

The hosts are extremely welcoming, and strive to accommodate all of your requests…They helped me/us in any way possible,which included letting me use their pressure washer to clean my car…Nothing is to much trouble for this couple, and they do it with a smile and a cheery tone.

What a lovely place to stay!

The bungalow is very spacious and has a private garden which we enjoyed. It was extremely clean In all rooms and everything you needed was provided e.g. pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, all spotless. Also tea towel,foil, bin bags etc. which were very useful. The caravan site next door is also very well-kept and good to walk the dog. The owners, who live next door are very friendly and helpful. There are lots of places to visit and we would definitely stay here again if in the area.

This was a lovely cottage very clean and also the site has well.

Station Road leading to the bungalow was very dangerous pot holes and dips that you didn’t see until you were in them.

Bungalow was very clean and comfortable. Entrance into it was very tight .

Great place to stay and easy for the local sights.

Well equipped kitchen and clean and tidy. Comfortable bed. Really dark and peaceful at night as very little traffic. Pub is a 1 mile walk down a quiet road (except "rush" hour). Take a headtorch.

The directions to the bungalow were spot on, found it real easy.

Once there just tapped it into satnav and our adventures started next day. The bungalow is spacious, comfortable and warm. Everything you need is provided. It was clean and tidy and we loved it. Just one big moan, and it's not just at Long Acres, but at quite a few of the holiday cottages we've stayed at, is the vacuum cleaners. Sorry John and Tracey, big isn't always best. I could be a bit biased but my wife and I love our Henry. Away from that we had a good time and the bungalow and area was great. Keep up your good work and standards, John and Tracey you may be seeing us again.

We had a lovely stay at Long Acres.

The cottage was beautiful. Absolutely spotless. Everything you could have wanted was there. Had a small problem with the lights, but John came over and fixed it within 5 minutes. Will definitely be going back in the future.

What a fabulous property !

Location, size and facilities suited us down to the ground. Amazing conservatory and the garden areas worked a treat for the ‘hound’ ! The bungalow ticked all the boxes for our week of visiting family who were also very impressed with our choice of accommodation.

Property was okay and owners where friendly , But felt as though we were being watch all the time And roads into property where not great and getting to driveway was tight as we have a large car if you hard , the property could do with a bit of an overhaul as it lacks in comfort and the paint work and flooring really needs doing, and there differently need a new bed as the mattress is so hard as we could not get comfortable on it, we paid 119 pounds on a mattress top and new pillows just to try a get the bed comfortable so we could sleep .

I’m not one to make a fuss, but I paid a lot more than I normally would so expected it to have a lot more comfort for the money we paid .

Top class property, very very clean and super spacious, big conservatory attached, the property lacked nothing,it was in an ideal location for our purpose of visiting relatives, plenty to do nearby, and a fantastic pub for meal just a few miles away, The Bricklayers Arms, we ate there three times and can highly recommend, there a co-op 2 miles away with a chippy next door, Skegness just 14 miles

We have stayed in many dog friendly holiday accommodation over the years and Long Acres comes out on top.

It is so clean, comfortable I could go on. See it for yourself.You will love it. Well done Tracey and John.

The cottage at Long Acres is superb.

The owners have thought of everything to make this a home from home. It was spotless and very well equipped. Anyone wanting peace and quiet this is the place for you though too remote for us.

The property exceeded our expectations and was very well equipped.

The bed was comfortable and plenty of hanging space our clothes. The conservatory was extensive and a lovely space to relax.

Long Acres Bungalow is really fantastic, one of the best cottages we have stayed in over the last 30 years.

Spacious, modern, comfortable, quiet - yes it's in the middle of nowhere but quite central to various attractions such as the Wildlife Park, National Trust properties, Ayscoughee Hall and Gardens, the Aviation Centre, several market towns and the seaside. We visited all these during our week's stay and were lucky enough to have beautiful weather all week. This part of Lincolnshire is a hidden gem and I definitely recommend Long Acres as your base!

A fabulous bungalow, spotless clean and very well equipped.

Fast response for a small issue with the shower head, I can honestly say I would give this accommodation 10/10. Just a small request to make it even better would be to ask for a pair of curtains to go over the blinds in the large bedroom, as the security lights shine through the blinds all through the night and light up the bedroom! Otherwise just perfect, highly recommended!!

Fantastic very clean and everything you could possibly need was in the bunglow from cooking to leaflets on places to see and go.

A lovely comfortable bungalow with everything you could possibly want. The owners, John and Tracey, are a lovely friendly couple who are on hand for anything you need. Lots to do for all tastes within the local area and dog friendly pubs serving excellent food within a short drive. Ideally located for the seaside or countryside. Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre is just a few miles away, well worth a visit. Highly recommended all round.

The property is in a very quiet location at the head of the owners quiet and exclusive adults only caravan park.

John & Tracey are ideal owners, there if and when you need them, but not in your face, and easy to get on with. If you are concerned about the caravan park, you don't need to be, you hardly know it's there! This was our second visit and we so no reason not to return in the future. Bungalow is BIGGER than it looks and well equipped.

A really lovely, clean, well stocked bungalow in a quiet area.

Only one niggle in that water pressure for shower was very weak, but still functional with a bit of tweaking. John and Tracy (owners) could be found on site and were extremely helpful.

Long Acres has everything you need for a relaxing break.

Basic accommodation, no frills!

A base to visit family in the surrounding areas. This is the only accommodation we have stayed in where towels were not included in the rental, minor detail but extra packing! A small welcoming pack would have been appreciated, especially as we did not get to meet the owners who lived opposite.

This lovely bungalow is the best holiday accommodation I have ever stayed in.

It is spacious, and extremely well equipped. The large conservatory was great to relax in, as well as an outside seating area. The owners are very friendly, and I would certainly recommend staying here.

A lovely clean, spacious and well equipped bungalow in a quiet rural area.

The property was light and warm and had a large conservatory which was lovely to sit in. It sat in it's own garden, ideal for small dog and was quite private. Owners were lovely and helpful but not intrusive. We had a lovely stay and would recommend it to others.

A gem of a property in a tranquil location a lot larger than it looks on the photographs with a big conservatory.

Great getaway from it all place in lovely countryside.

An area to drive slowly and take in the scenery but also because many of the minor roads are in need of attention. Long Acres is in reach for many of the market towns and also the coast with large, clean beaches. Definitely a change of pace place.

We really enjoyed our stay at Long Acres, perfect location for visiting birdwatching sites and getting to know this part of Lincolnshire.

This was one of the nicest holiday cottages we have been in.

It was a detached bungalow on its own site with a very large conservatory on one end and had a large lounge and a sizeable, well equipped dining kitchen. Whilst the views were very limited we found the location ideal for visiting the attractions in the local are. We would recommend going to the Lincolnshire Aviation Trust at nearby East Kirby, especially on a Lancaster bomber taxying day - it's a memorable sight to be so near to a Lancaster with the engines going a full blast ! There are a number of dining pubs nearby and the local Co-op and fish and chip shop are only a short drive away.

Made to feel very welcome and the bungalow was so clean and every effort -and more!

- had been made to assist with helping us to ‘stay safe’. Hopefully, we will return.

The bungalow was of an high standard the only thing that was lacking was a decent mop for the floor but otherwise we had a fantastic holiday and would recommend this place to anyone.

John and Tracey Plant who own the bungalow were very welcoming and although they live across the road did not encroach on our time there. Thanks to them for letting us use their bungalow and for such a lovely quiet place to stay. Karen and Ernie

Great bungalow with a wonderful conservatory as an added attraction.

Good location for exploring Lincolnshire and North Norfolk. Time the county council did something about the many roads with appalling surfaces.

Had a great two weeks peaceful only drawback was height of armchairs in front room, being old needed a bit higher seat but they are fine for the young and fit.

Everything else was great.

Lovely and clean beautiful conservatory could have done with a tv in it as would have spent all the time in it.

Lovely bungalow, really nice village, owners extremely friendly, all round enjoyable stay.

Once again a wonderful stay, apart from weather, which no one can control.

The days we stayed in, everything there, TV, Freeview, Dvd player, but the comfort of the cottage was A1. John and Tracey were brilliant, friendly but not intrusive. Will always recommend to anyone to stay here.

It was a lovely place to stay welcome back with a lot of things to look at and places to go.

were very nice the cottage was fantastic ,very comfortable more than we expected.

On arrival the owner met us with the keys and advised if there was any problems at all not to hesitate to contact them, otherwise to enjoy our stay.

On entering the property it was nice and warm as we arrived on the coldest day of October. Having had a quick look around the property was exactly as the photo's showed on the website and it was spotless, it was really roomy and the conservatory even had radiators which meant we could sit in there so we stuck all our daughters toys in it and let it be her play room for the week which was perfect. The kitchen was well equipped and we were able to put a meal together without struggling for anything. The garden was enclosed and secure and the drive even had a gate which we shut every time we came back just in case our daughter did get out so she couldn't get out of the grounds of the bungalow which gave us peace of mind. If you were thinking of booking don't hesitate you won't be disappointed.

Because the owners were on site it made it very helpful if needed for any problems with cottage, the owners were very friendly and made you feel welcome.

Enjoyed holiday very much, ideal for dogs as back garden is very enclosed. The bricklayers arms is a very friendly pub to go to for meals and enjoy a drink with your dog.

The cottage was excellent the bed was the best I have slept in.

There was not really enough area near the cottage for good dog walking.

Cottage was very well kept, everything you needed for a holiday and more (home from home).

We will be returning.

Highly recommended on all counts.

Friendly and helpful owners

The reason that we would not return to this cottage is that it is a bit remote and we have now seen everything we wanted to see in that area.

For all that, an excellent holiday cottage and our neighbours are already thinking of book next year.

We had everything you would need at the bungalow.

The only thing we could find fault with was that it was a bit far from the shops. A lovely holiday though.
