"An absolutely gorgeous little cottage with so much character."
Beautiful original stone wall up the staircase to the bedroom and bathroom. We felt immediately at home. The garden was perfect for our dog - completely safe and secure. Ropsley is a beautiful quiet little village with a great pub that serves wonderful food. It's perfect for long walks in the countryside and well placed for days out to places like Grimsthorpe Castle, Belton House, Belvoir Castle and Rutland Water.

"BEAUTIFUL COTTAGE
We had a great week in Ropsley, Lincolnshire at Apple Tree Cottage."
The cottage is next to a lovely church in a quiet village with a welcoming pub serving excellent food.
The cottage has everything you will need to have a relaxing holiday. Every room has been tastefully decorated and the back garden is fully enclosed which was great for our dog.
The location is wonderful with many walks from the village and very convenient for exploring the many interesting market towns nearby. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property to anyone visiting the area. We will definitely be returning.
Big thank you to the owners!

"Fabulous cottage, great location and good pub for food close by."
Only 2 mugs and bowls so could not use the dishwasher. Hot water was very low pressure and did not get very hot. Due to the lack of mugs and bowls I seemed to constantly be washing pots.
We're pleased to hear you liked the cottage and thank you for letting us know about the issues you encountered. We'll check and replenish the crockery and look into the low pressure for the hot water, unfortunately we were not aware of this before your trip. Apologies for the inconvenience.

"We loved our stay here."
It was comfortable and homely. Perhaps a new tv is in order for access to more channels and apps.
We will definitely be back.
Thank you for staying with us, we're very happy to know you liked the cottage. And thank you for bringing the issues with the TV to our attention. We've had it checked and found out that the arial was damaged in the recent storm causing reception to drop, we've had it fixed and it's now working well. We're sorry it wasn't working properly during your stay. We look forward to welcoming you again soon!
