An amazing bungalow.

.very clean. and the area it is situated in is beautiful.

Enjoyed our stay at this lovely property.

It was tastefully decorated, mainly well equipped and very clean. The location was great. Private garden with furniture was really appreciated. A few things would have given it the full 5 stars. The beds were too hard. I know other visitors have felt the same. There weren't enough wine glasses or cutlery, a few more would make life easier. The blinds in the main living area were decorative only meaning they could neither be raised higher to let air through the top openers of the windows, nor could the sun be blocked out making the living area like a green house. The light woke the dog early every morning and the curtains in the main bedroom cut no light out, waking us at 4 in the morning. It was a great property, but a few tweaks could make it perfect.

We had a lovely week at Giggling Goose, we had a couple of minor problems but Lee sorted them immediately.

Everything we needed was there and a lovely big back garden totally enclosed so the dogs were safe. Ideally situated in Woodhall Spa and would definitely recommend.

only one problem no one told us about the road closure and road works outside property which was noisy earlie morning.

A very lovely, clean and comfortable cottage in a great location for visiting the local area.

The welcome pack was much appreciated. We enjoyed sitting in the garden in the sun and using the man cave to play pool! Our party included 3 elderly toddlers (86,84 and 80) who found it to be very comfortable and easy to get around with their walkers and walking sticks. There is a step up into the property and a step down into the garden but these were all manageable. I would suggest a folder with details of how to use the hob and television as we couldn’t find any instructions and had to google to see how to get them working. Our older guests were completely baffled by what to do. Highly recommend visits to the Kinema in the Woods, the Tearoom in the Woods, Skegness, the Petwood Hotel, the Lincolnshire Aviation Centre and The Kings Arms (amazing food). Hopefully we will look to return next year!

Lovely bungalow in fantastic location.

Handy for everything in Woodhall Spa and further afield. We were lucky with the weather and used the back garden which is a sun trap. Maybe a couple of Pyrex dishes for microwaving or casseroling would have been a bonus but not an issue. All in all everything was great and we so so enjoyed it. Thank you

The cottage was very clean, well maintained and in a great location.

The games room was a bonus. The two double beds would benefit from a good mattress topper as both my husband and I and our son and daughter-in-law found the beds a bit uncomfortable . More cutlery in the kitchen would be useful as one set of cutlery per person is not adequate. Also a couple of serving dishes would be useful. We throughly enjoyed our stay nonetheless.

Had a nice family holiday here.

Location was great for exploring the area with plenty of walks from the door. Secure back garden was ideal for our little dog to enjoy. Lovely warm bungalow for when the weather was poor

We had another lovely stay at the property and would highly recommend it.

It was extremely comfortable and well appointed. The only slight difficulty was the internet which was a little inconsistent at times.

It is always a pleasure to stay and has everything you need and more including a games room. Owners were super helpful and responsive with a couple of small issues we had and they were also kind enough to allow us a slightly earlier check in. I would highly recommend this property.

The house was fabulous and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The pool table was good fun, it was warm and clean and we had everything we needed. Our dog struggled a bit with the laminate flooring which was entertaining but she adapted

We had a lovely stay at Giggling Goose Cottage.

It was well-equipped, clean and comfortable (lovely big bath towels!) and we loved the safe, enclosed garden for our dog, and also the pool table in the games room. Thank you for the lovely flapjacks left ready for our arrival, they were delicious, and also the tea, coffee and some milk. Woodhall Spa is a lovely village and there were lots of things to see and do locally and further afield. We visited Lincoln Cathedral (dog friendly!) and the wonderful Natureland Seal Sanctuary in Skegness (also dog friendly!), and we loved all the RAF and aviation visitor centres which we found fascinating - there were so many! Lots of great dog friendly pubs around for meals, we especially loved the Blue Bell, Abbey Lodge and the Leagate Inn (amazing for breakfast!). Fully recommend this cottage!

What an amazing stay we have had here at giggling goose.

So homely, immaculate on arrival. The cupcakes were delicious. The area of Woodall Spa is beautiful. My boys loved the pool table. As much as me and my husband. We will definitely be returning next year.

We stayed at the giggling goose from 1st Aug to 8th 2025 it was a really wonderful stay, the property was really nice, and woodall spa is a beautiful place, we enjoyed it very much, are little dog loved the big back garden which is very secure , i would recommend this property and the area for a lovely romantic stay

Lovely place to stay!

Relaxing situation, lots of nature walks nearby. Enjoyable walk to Woodhall Spa, good range of facilities.

We enjoyed our stay at this property, the location is fantastic and just a short walk into woodhall spa which is a really beautiful place to be with lots of amenities on your doorstep including the fabulous Kinema in the woods.

We stay in a lot of Sykes cottages and rated this a 4 rather than a 5 star overall as a few tweaks would really help. It could have been cleaner (with dead flies and dust behind the window shutters) and the sink handle and bath plug were broken. There is a lack of quality supplies in the kitchen (we brought a full size baking tray) and a limited supply of toilet rolls/dishwasher tabs/washing up liquid. The property was smaller than expected but well decorated & furnished throughout (the sofa cushions with string tassels come off all over your clothes especially if wearing black, we removed these for our stay). A good sized mirror would be helpful as well as more hangers in the bedrooms & king sized beds for added comfort. The garden and games room were great and we all enjoyed playing on the pool table, it also has plenty of secure off road parking. We had a couple of hot days while we were there but all of the windows (unusually) only have small top openings so it did get quite uncomfortable. None of the blinds in the back of the house close which had the dog up early wandering around. This a a compact bungalow in a really beautiful location with lots of fabulous places to eat, drink and walk right on your doorstep. The beach is around 45 min drive away and Lincoln 30mins which again is gorgeous to visit. The bakery and butchers on the high street are superb and woodhall spa is a real gem of a location.

Needs a deep clean!

Dead flys behind window blinds! Windows filthy and not cleaned under furniture! Very disappointed

Lovely property maintained extremely well by the owner.

We want to thank our two legs for such a wonderful doggy experience - secure back garden for us papillons, bed and blankets, leads and loads of other doggy stuff.

We would recommend this property to any two legs who want a safe environment for their 4 legs. Merlin and Mara.

Had a great week, the cottage was perfect for us especially the fully enclosed garden as we have 2 labs.

Giggling goose cottage is a very well equipped property.

Clean with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Lovely decor comfy sofa and beds. Bonus hot water in the bathroom, lovely large bath towels

This cottage is as close to perfect as we have found.

It is clean and comfortable and the garden is ideal for our ball loving dogs. The games room is a wonderful facility and Woodhall Spa is a delightful little town.

8 out 10 for cleanliness, shortage of cooking crockery , tiny ensuite shower , pool table was not worth playing on (this is a big filter when we look to book), this is why we have only gone 4 out of 5 across the board , but in the whole we enjoyed our stay

A relaxing week spent in this lovely cottage that perfectly met our needs.

It was perfectly located for all the pubs, shops and restaurants - our particular favourites being the Woodland Cafe and Petwood Hotel and gardens. The cottage is beautifully furnished and maintained and immaculately clean. It was a joy to stay there for our first time in Woodhall Spa.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful small town.

Kitted out well, with perfect cleanliness and facilities. The rear garden was as described perfectly secure four our 2 little dogs. Lots to do in the area especially if you like walking. Several air museums commemorating the areas involvement in WW11. 10 minutes walk to the main shopping area. The cottage and area was so good that we have already re-booked for next year.

Great stay once again.

Very comfortable, with great facilities and love the location . Feels like home from home. Hope to return again soon.

Lovely cottage.

Comfortable and convenient. Perhaps more drawer space for clothes in the bedroom and the pool table needs to be replaced as the balls do not roll properly across the surface. The games were a welcome addition.

A lovely holiday home.

Spacious and modern with brilliant additions of a games room with pool table and an EV charger. The garden is fully enclosed so was totally safe for our dog to run around in. I would recommend this property. We had a great time.

Cottage is in a fab location, 10 mins walk from the high st and some great dog walks.

Pool table was a big hit with the kids and the garden is lovely. The dog bed & blankets were a lovely touch. Some of the basics did let it down a little bit. The lack of clothes storage space in the bedrooms was an issue. My teenagers in the twin room didn’t unpack as there was no suitable space for them to put all of their clothes, the room is plenty big enough for a wardrobe. In the main bedroom there’s a hanging rail, but nothing else. The shower in the ensuite was broken (luckily avoided soaking the ceiling). The sink in the ensuite is also tiny, so not really suitable for anything other than hand washing. As there’s no storage there’s no where to put toothbrushes or any toiletries, so we mainly shared the main bathroom. Loo roll holders/stands would also be great. There’s nowhere to hang wet towels, so hooks either in the bedrooms or bathrooms would be helpful. Had to ask for a bathroom bin (which was quickly delivered) as the only one in the property is in the kitchen.

Very nice cottage with an excellent garden for our dogs.

We had a lovely holiday with the weather being reasonably kind to us.

The house was modern, clean, spacious, with a secure, large lawn ideal for our two dogs, well equipped, with tasteful decor and in a quiet area within walking distance of amenities.

A couple of practical touches would make it even better: serving dishes in the kitchen (we had to improvise for a main meal for six adults); toilet roll holders in the bathrooms, somewhere to place toiletries in the bathroom. But these are only minor points (there were plenty of coat hangers) and did not detract from a very enjoyable stay in a property that we would heartily recommend.

We spent a lovely week here with lots of things to do locally - eating out, walks and places to visit.

The property was ideally placed for all of this and was very comfortable, it's situated along a nice quiet street and only a 10 minute walk to the row of shops. Watched a film in the Kinema in the woods which is a real hidden gem. Bianca answered any queries very quickly. All in all a very enjoyable week!

Lovely cottage

Lovely comfortable accommodation with everything that we needed.

Loved the pool room and our dogs enjoyed the enclosed garden. Some nice fine touches - rugs for the dogs, milk and biscuits. Bianca was very accommodating allowing our friends to park on the property before check-in time. Ideal location for this part of the country and the locals of Woodhall Spa was very welcoming. We will be back in the not too distant future. Thank you again Bianca

Beautiful, clean, comfortable cottage with an enclosed garden which was great for our dog.

There is an external Pool Room (which we didn’t use) but I’m sure others will enjoy it. The Kinema in the Woods worth a visit and it’s close to the local shops. Several National Trust properties within a short drive. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and hope to return again.

An excellent holiday cottage.

Very clean and comfortable. Garden ideal for our dogs. About a 20 minute walk to the village centre and Woodhall Spa is a lovely village. We did notice that if the en suite shower is turned up fully water comes over the top of the cubicle, hits the door and wets the floor. Not a problem but you need to be aware. We would definitely book Giggling Goose again.

Our stay in the cottage was fantastic.

The cottage was well equipped and had everything we needed for our two week stay. The beds were really comfortable and the cakes provided were delicious. The pool table and games were a great asset although we didnt use them. The enclosed garden was great for our two dogs who loved it. The owner was on hand if needed and was very friendly. It was was great value for money and would definitely recommend to family and friends.

2nd time here lovely bungalow, close to Woodhall Spa we walked there everyday.

Plus 5 minutes from a great wood to walk your dogs off lead.

This is the second time we have stayed there and look forward to a return visit.

Enjoyed our stay but a few little things needed attention.

The internal double door handle kept coming off which we fixed. Bath plug didn’t work. Shower room door difficult to open.

A true home from home.

We adored Giggling Goose! The property met - and exceeded - all our expectations and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Clean, spacious yet cosy, with beautiful decor. Both the house and village were peaceful and quiet with lots to keep us occupied. Bianca provided prompt communication on the lead up to and during our stay. The lemon drizzle cake on arrival was a lovely added touch and much appreciated. Thank you for hosting us!

A really lovely cottage with everything we needed for our week, just a 15 minute walk down to the centre of Woodhall Spa, we also hit really lucky with the weather so made good use of the enclosed garden.

Very well kept, clean property, had a few problems with the fridge/freezer but we have notified the owners.

En-suite shower is a bit of a squeeze. Lovely welcome gifts of cakes and eggs were there for our arrival which were a lovely touch. Found a lovely local wood to walk and local caravan parks for dog walks and play parks. Visited Wolds Zoo and Tattersall farm park both were lovely and extremely well priced. Skegness and Lincoln are around a half hour drive too. Local restaurant Zucci us a must we also ate out at Abbey lodge and Village Limits which were lovely too.

The location is excellent for exploring the area and easy to get to many locations on the coast and Lincoln. Also for National Trust members there are 3 good places to visit, Gunby, Belton house and Tattershall castle. The RAF visitors centre is well worth an afternoon. Woodhall Spa itself is a beautiful village with many eateries and pubs, the Kinema in the woods is a great little cinema. Having an electric car the charging point was brilliant with no worries having to locate EV chargers and waiting around. Loved the games room and enjoyed playing pool. The bungalow was very well kitted out and our stay extremely comfortable.

Really lovely property.

Very clean and comfortable.Kitchen really well stocked. Our only problem was the en suite shower.It is extremely small.There was no shelf to put anything on so shower gel/shampoo had to be put on the floor.This was a big problem as all our party are over 65 and are not as flexible as we once were and could not bend down safely in the enclosed space.Although there was another (very good) shower over the bath in the main bathroom, two of our party can’t climb into a bath.They therefore had a week without a shower.An addition of a hanging shelf in the en-suite would make a big difference.

Very comfortable clean property with everthing you need. Lovely location with plenty of things to do locally. Very helpful owners (slight problem with ev charger which was solved by Lee within minutes of ringing him!). Delicious cakes left as a welcome pack together with milk and tea bags. Looking forward to visiting again.

The only one thing was it says a king size bed in en-suite room but it was a double.

I’m sure it was originally king size but Sykes have not updated their information, and not Bianca’s fault, my family members have a super king bed so they found it very small. But everything else in the bungalow was superb and would definitely recommend, there is also Prime & Netflix which also Sykes does not state, so abig bonus.Thank you Bianca we had a great time.

The games room kept us entertained on a wet Sunday! Lots of things to see and do in the area both in the village and further afield. We really enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to recommend Giggling Goose.

Perfect location Woodhall Spa is a short walk away and well worth the walk. There are plenty of dog walks in the woods. Will be going back asp.

This cottage is first class in everyway.

The accommodation is very modern comfortable & spacious. Suited all the ages of our party from 29 to 76 years of age. We would definitely return.

We had a very nice stay at Giggling Goose cottage.

The bungalow was very clean and had everything you need for a great self catering break. The pool table was a bonus for entertaining our teenage son in the evenings and the garden was secure and a great size for our dog. Nice touches when we arrived such as fresh flapjacks and milk etc after a long journey. Would highly recommend staying here

We had a lovely stay here.

Loved the walk into Woodhall Spa for shops and restaurants, of which there are many. Would recommend the Kinema in the Woods, if you want a quirky cinema experience with some of the latest blockbusters. The outdoor heated swimming pool at Jubilee Park is also a good option, just check the times, as it may get busy at the weekend, when the schools are out, or during swimming lessons. The cafe by the pool also does excellent milk shakes and has a good cake selection for a good price. We would definitely come again, although my only quibble was that the pillows were feather , which set off my allergies.

Ideal situation as could easily walk into village for meals & shops. Great walks for the dogs - plenty of dog friendly places for meals & doggy ice cream! Enclosed garden ideal for dogs - didn’t use games room. Would be nice if there was another big mirror in one of the other bedrooms- but would definitely stay again

Absolutely gorgeous cottage, with everything you could need and more!

Spotlessly clean, comfortable furnishings and excellent facilities including dog bed, blanket and bowls. Our teenage son loved the games room and the garden was very safe and secure for our dog Max, whilst my parents enjoyed watching the birds come and go through the large window in the dining area. Woodhall Spa itself was great, we really didn't want to leave! Nice independent shops and bars, plus the Kinema in the woods. Plenty of other local places to visit too, including RAF Coningsby, Horncastle, Louth, Lincoln and enjoyed a private swim at the Pool by the Bain. Also many thanks for the cakes, they were delicious.

It’s our second time at the property and it’s a lovely place.

However, this time, the property wasn’t as clean as the time before. We opened the fridge and had to clean it as the previous guest had left it dirty and a pool of water had collected at the bottom of the fridge which was from fish - quite putrid! The crockery had stale food stuff on it and the cutlery drawer had crumbs in. These are the things I expect to be cleaned as standard and a priority when I stay at a holiday place. One of the dog toys had rolled under the sofa and and I scooped it out with a sweeping brush and brought out lots of debris where it hadn’t been cleaned so I swept under the entire sofa and lots of mess and dust was underneath. A little disappointing in that respect but the property itself I would highly recommend.

This is a very well appointed bungalow set in a pretty area of Woodhall Spa in a residential area well off the main road.

There was a very nice welcome pack left by the owners which included some super cakes. There was also a treat for our dog, which he thoroughly enjoyed, thank you. There was also a dog bed and throw available in the lounge area. It was nice to have an enclosed garden area to the rear of the property, and also a gated drive and parking area to the front. As other guests have commented, there could be more drawer or dressing table provision, but this was not an issue for us. I thank the owners for their attention to detail and would happily recommend this property to anyone wishing to visit this area.

Great holiday bungalow in a very nice location.

Woodhall Spa was central to many of the places we wished to visit and the property was very comfortable and equipped to a very high standard of fitting. The owner was very easy to contact and we appreciated the welcome back. Overall we loved Giggling Goose.

This bungalow suppresses all expectations.

It has wonderful facilities, is well maintained and spotlessly clean. The position is ideal too, for enjoying the delightful Woodhall Spa.

Amazing place.

Very modern, clean, great location and very helpful people at the property who got me some non-feather pillows due to an allergy. We really enjoyed it. I'd recommend anyone to this property. 10/10.

The bungalow is massive and in a very nice, quiet location.

It was equipped with everything you needed and the host was very friendly and helpful. A lovely welcome basket was left upon arrival. Can't really fault it at all, would highly recommend the Giggling Goose!

Terrific, we loved every minute the bungalow, the garden all well above standard We went to recharge our batteries and did exactly that in the peaceful surroundings, I could go on forever writing the same things over again, we have been home less then 24 hours and I’m looking to book again

The cottage was fantastic!

Felt very homely and the host was helpful and great with any questions we had. It was clean, spacious and the host even left gift hamper for us on arrival. The games room was a nice bonus. We would definitely return. The only way to improve the cottage would be to add a hot tub!
