Chippers Cottage

Excellent ‘Home from Home’.

Plenty of space for parking, outside area can be enclosed with the main gate closed out dog wandered within the available space safely. Enclosed outside play& eating areas are exceptional for holiday accommodation. Sofas & beds are comfortable, plenty of washing & drying potential for outdoor activities. The only downside was no dishwasher.

Lovely cottage, peaceful location.

Nice welcome pack. Utility room which we didn't use looked well equipped.

We enjoyed a lovely weekend at Chippers, so close to everywhere without having traffic and footfall on your doorstep.

The cottage was lovely and warm and had everything we needed, the bonus of the utility washroom was fantastic, the garden was perfect with the separate sitting out areas. We loved it that much we've booked again for next year!

Lovely cottage with everything you would need.

The cottage and garden was very dog friendly with access to an adjoining paddock.

This is the forth time we have used Clipper never a problem ,clean comfortable great location for a quiet rest, our dog loves it.

The welcome pack was very much appreciated. Already booked for next year looking forward to it.To the owners you’re doing a. Great job keep it up. See you next year.

Absolutely lovely place to stay whilst visiting family in Woodhall Spa.

Beautiful house and gardens with plenty of parking. Everything you need for a comfortable stay with a gorgeous guest hamper on arrival. Thank you

The cottage was exactly as described and we were not disappointed.

It was well-presented on arrival and a welcome pack with bread, milk, eggs and some cakes as well as tea bags was exceptional. The location was ideal for us; we went to Lincoln, Frampton Marsh and Gibraltar Point, Skegness easily. Woodhall Spa has a range of shops and recreational area as well as Kinema in the Woods which we also attended. We would have no hesitation in booking again if we were in the area.

Hi there Just wanted to say what a pleasure it was to stay at a proper dog-friendly cottage.

The welcome basket and throws were a lovely touch. It was nice to be able to be ourselves and relax. The garden itself is enclosed with high fencing on 2 sides and high bushes on the 3rd, it was very protected. One of the sides borders a field so it was blissfully quiet. Just some tweaks: we appreciated the huge freezer, but the fridge was a bit small, with the unusually high temperatures, a fan in the bedrooms would have helped. These very minor things The only problem I faced was poor communication with Sykes itself, messaged and got no replies at all. It wasn't until I made a booking that I got the answers I needed. I have left you a comment in your guest book that might help with this. Hope to return one day soon Best wishes Georgina, jamie, Ruby & Jasper x

We enjoyed our stay at Chippers, unfortunately I ended up needing a wheelchair during our stay, the company delivered it on the wrong day before we arrived, thankfully it was signed for and put in the outhouse thank you!

It is a shame there is no way of contacting the owners before the stay as this would have taken alot of stress off of me. But when we arrived we were greeted by a small hamper with a bottle of fizzy drink, bread and some delicious cakes, and a card wishing up a happy stay and their contact details thank you. In the kitchen area, they had kindly left us a pint of milk, some eggs and an assortment of hot drinks. I did find it strange that the microwave had paper in which was dirty and oven was lined with tin foil which I guess is to keep it clean, but the foil was not changed for our stay. We were disappointed on the size of the fridge as it wasn't even a regular small fridge size and it either froze our food or made it go off very quickly, luckily there was a good size freezer in the outhouse, along with a good washing machine and tumble dryer. The living room was nicely presented we managed to log into our own tv accounts and there was a WiFi code in the living room. In the hallway there is a handy cupboard to keep your coats and shoes, to help keep things tidy. The was also a shelf unit with games on, unfortunately the top shelf likes to collapse on its own making everyone jump, and the games are not all complete, these should be looked at and replace the missing pieces or cleared out. Bearing in mind I was in a wheelchair, I did manage the stairs fairly well, I was worried after reading that the stairs weren't suitable for those not great on their feet, but they are sturdy and not particularly steep. Upstairs there is a lovely big bathroom with a shower over the bath, the owners left complementary little wash bits like shampoo, conditioner etc. Each of the bedrooms were nicely presented with towels on the bed and a complimentary chocolate on the beds. Out in the garden there is a big gate to keep everything secure, lovely garden with lots of beautiful flowers, our dog who is 40kg loved it, I can understand why small dogs might be able to get out of the garden, but if you are responsible and go outside with your dog you won't have any issues, the swing bench was disappointing and uncomfortable, but it does have a large outside table too. We loved Woodhall Spa it is such a lovely town and we learnt lots about its very interesting history, the children went swimming at jubilee park, just a short drive from the house. All in all we had a lovely time and would recommend this cottage.

Property was as described.

Spotlessly clean, lovely welcome hamper, even treats for my dog. Beautiful gardens. Lovely stay.

The cottage is nicely decorated, well kept and the garden is a delight.

Unfortunately it is not dog secure, particularly for small/medium dogs, as they can and will get through the two gates with ease. This had been raised by previous visitors in the visitors book but nothing has been done. Some simple cage wire over both gates would easily resolve this without changing the cosmetics. This meant that not only did our dogs need supervision but also had to be kept on leads, as of course escape, once they knew, became the main object of their stay. It also meant that we could not relax when outside. There was no welcome pack (just some tea and coffee, with IHT milk) and no reach out by the owners before, during or after our stay. Indeed no contact details until we arrived and read the visitor pack, which is very brief. This was a shame because we could not check that our need for twin beds was actioned; it wasn’t. In our experience other rental properties with Sykes (and others) certainty have been more welcoming and interested in their guests. All in all we had a pleasant stay but felt let down by the lack of attention (not really dog friendly) and perhaps interest?

Very easy to find with the directions given and nice distance to Woodhall Spa.

It took a couple of days for the house to warm up. The garden wasn’t fully enclosed so we couldn’t let our dog out on her own which was a shame/not expected and not fully fenced around and could’ve got through the gate or through gap in hedge onto main road. The kitchen and bathroom are getting a bit tired and need a really good clean and some TLC. Some of the kitchen cupboards were dirty inside and black mould around the shower screen. Extractor fan and light didn’t work on the cooker, and hob a bit sticky. Welcome pack was nice. House Didn’t smell of dogs. Bed comfortable in front bedroom. Washer drier in out house was very useful. Would probably be lovely in the garden in summer.

We had a lovely stay at Chippers Cottage.

Nice central location. The welcome pack and accessories were beyond belief and the best we have ever had. The cottage was lovely and clean. 5 stars to your fairies. Demi, the dog, enjoyed the garden. We will have no hesitation in returning. Thank you for a wonderful break.

A lovely comfortable and well equipped cottage.

The owners go above and beyond in making you welcome with a great welcome hamper toiletries etc. It was our fifth stay in Clippers and I’m certain we’ll return. We had a lovely stay with decent weather and found some new walks which our dogs loved. The only slight criticism is the replacement of the fridge freezer in the utility room with just a freezer. The fridge in the kitchen is very small so the additional one in the utility room was in previous stays very useful.

We had a lovely stay in Chippers cottage with our two dogs.

Plenty of room and very peaceful. The cottage has everything you need for a perfect stay. Woodhall Spa is close by with some lovely shops and plenty of eateries.

loved our holiday will book chippers cottage again thank you.

Second time we have stayed here and can highly recommend, Chippers Cottage has everything you could need.

We really enjoyed our stay at Chippers.

It was in a lovely, peaceful location with a long drive and large garden and also an enclosed area just outside the back door. The Kitchen was very well equipped and we found everything we needed. There was an extensive choice of cooking pans and dishes. When we arrived there was a lovely hamper and flowers on the table as well as a bowl of fruit. Upstairs lovely large towels and complimentary toiletries. We thought Chippers had a lovely feel to it. I have only given it 4 stars as there was a very small fridge/freezer which we found difficult to access as very close to the floor and meant a lot of bending down which was difficult for us due to various health problems. Quite a lot to see in the area although usually meant a short drive. We couldn't find any good walks straight from the door. Woodhall Spa is very nice and a short distance away. There was a useful OS map but could have done with a few up to date tourist leaflets about local area. Would recommend.

Could not fault.

Excellent location and cottage quiet and comfortable. The hamper upon arrival meant no immediate trip to buy food. Flowers and fruit were also a welcome addition. It was also great to not have a list of laminates giving instructions on 'do this on Tuesday' etc.. The cottage was warm and welcoming and it was also great to enjoy the peaceful garden. The wooden garden furniture was excellent quality but maybe some comfortable garden chairs to really enjoy the garden would be nice. Will most certainly recommend and will return again.

Second time at cottage ,great place to stay.

ideal location for touring this area.plenty of equipment.room for dog to stretch her legs..The owners have gone to great lengths to make it comfortable they should feel proud of what they have done.Looking forward to rebooking.

Beautiful cottage equipped with everything you could possibly need.

The welcome basket was delightful. Will was on hand if we needed anything. Lovely dog walks straight from the door. The only slight thing was I found the beds very hard, but I have a bad back and I'm planning another visit so it can't be too much of a negative. I would recommend this beautiful cottage to anyone.

Great place to relax for a long weekend stay.

Beautiful cottage and the hamper was a lovely surprise on entering. The place had everything we needed and was comfortable. Love the quietness of the area.

Just an overhaul lovely home if anything the property looks better then the pictures

Excellent cottage everything you could possibly need.

Lovely welcome pack and very peaceful

Chippers is in a peaceful location not far from Woodhall Spa.

Excellent parking spaces and lovely gardens with stunning views to the rear of the property. Lots of birds giving glorious birdsong morning and evening, and huge sky views for starry nights. I was greeted by a generous welcome hamper, which included lovely fresh flowers and fresh fruit. The cottage itself has all the amenities needed, some maintenance is needed but when I raised any issues with the hosts they were very quick to respond and were very lovely about it. In fact the hosts are a lovely couple, friendly and welcoming. The house is cleaned thoroughly but has had dog visitors which has left the inevitable persistent dog aroma which may be a struggle for guests with pet allergies.

We just loved the cottage and felt so at home there.

The hamper was so generous and a lovely touch. A real home from home. We will be back!

Nice little touches in the cottage.

Good welcome pack and toiletries in the bathroom. Nice fluffy towels . Garden was large with nice gated area for the dog . Good to be able to leave wet boots outside .

Our second stay at “chippers” we loved it the first time and this time did not disappoint neither, warm and cosy cottage with everything and more provided, such care given to detail, comfy bed, fantastic enclosed and secure garden for our two dogs, off road parking, hamper full of goodies and milk for that well needed cuppa, our thanks to all the fairies, great work.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay!

The cottage is well equipped and comfortable. The location is perfect, with a nice big garden and driveway. Secure yard for our 2 tiny dogs. The only downside for us was the smell of dog in the lounge when we turned the over powering scent from the air freshener off!

Excellent cottage pity about the weather but will definitely be back

Forgot to leave feedback in guest book on departure, lots of extra touches such as the lovely hamper and toiletries.

Enjoyed our stay and noticed the property was cosy, warm and well looked after including the garden and drive. The only criticism, I feel the mattress on the king size bed was not of good quality or comfort and could be improved. Other than that a lovely property. Thank you.

A lovely cosy cottage in a lovely area, and a excellent Welcome Basket to greet us.

Many thanks.

Loved the cottage & met Will who was very friendly & put our minds at rest about this sykes good housekeeping money, which makes us wary of Sykes going forward.

Glad to get the chance to discuss with owner & have reassurance. Cottage was comfy, well equipped & had everything we needed. Lots of proper hot water, don't always get that! & decent bath sheets too!Welcome pack & finishing touches were very nice. Perfect place, loved it.

Only 2 of us in this cottage but room for 4 .

lovely cottage with all you would expect. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay of one week .stayed with our Jack Russell. Lovely views from the back bedroom.

We've stayed in this cottage several times and it's always at an excellent standard.

We would recommend this cottage

Beautiful place, best yet.

Great for a quiet peacefully. Break Lots of places to go if that,s what you want. We walked the dog, finding many places to walk him

Wow what a beautiful location,.

well equipped great hosts.Plenty of room for our dog. the welcome pack was much appreciated. A little gem. would book again, Great for visiting the coast, Lincoln and many other places. A credit to the owners and to Sykes Holidays. Great value.

Overall the property is excellent.

The owners seem to have thought of everything. Our only problem was that my wife struggled with the stairs and we both had a problem with getting in and out of the bath for a shower. I should add that we are 75 and 83!

This is a lovely cottage, clean, comfortable and well equipped with lots of thoughtful extras.

The excellent welcome basket and fruit was an added bonus much appreciated. A good sized garden for the dogs to run around. Would definitely recommend. Thank you to the owners.

Lovely cottage.

The owner is very friendly. Great base for travelling to Lincoln and the Lincolnshire coast. A lovely warm and welcoming cottage. Pet friendly with a large outdoor space for the Dogs to run around. Quiet village location. There are Bee Hives in the field behind so just beware of them. A dishwasher would be a great addition to a kitchen that has most of the stuff you would want. A couple of things that need updating but are still ok to use (eg The Over Bath Shower ) All in all a great place to stay. We will definitely be looking to stay again.

A gem of a cottage lovely location quiet great gardens welcome pack was excellent very clean and comfy highly recommend enjoyed our stay

Chippers was warm, clean and comfortable for a February break.

Lots of complimentary extras included but no basics like cooking oil or enough loo rolls and bin liners for 4 adults. Problem with the listing dealt with by Sykes effectively. Overall I would recommend the property and the area.

We had a fabulous week at Chippers, a wonderful warm and comfortable cottage in a lovely peaceful location a few miles away from the characterful village of Woodhall Spa.

The cottage was spotlessly clean and the owners had gone to a lot of trouble to make us feel very welcome, there were a number of local gifts for us to enjoy during our stay. One thing we really enjoyed due to the location of the cottage in the countryside, due to virtually zero light pollution, the skies were brimming with bright stars, wonderful. We had a fabulous time and hope to return one day, many thanks.

This is our second stay at Chippers Cottage and yet again we thoroughly enjoyed it.

The beds are so comfy, the cottage spotlessly clean, in a beautiful location and the owners have thought of absolutely everything that you may need for a perfect stay. The hamper is so thoughtful and lovely. Thankyou. The only thing I would mention is the lack of lighting on the driveway, it was impossible to see down the driveway after 4pm as it is so dark due to there being no street lighting.

Nice property with an amazing (&very safe!

!!) garden - that my 2 dogs loved it. We enjoyed our stay there - and we loved the welcoming pack from the owners! (The only let down was the fact that the property did not have a smart TV unfortunately.)

Very comfortable cottage, had everything we needed.

The welcome pack pack was amazing plus fruit and flowers. Good base from which to see Lincolnshire.

Lovely comfortable cottage in a quiet setting with all the facilities you need, this was our second visit and will be back again

Lovely little cottage.

Nice little enclosed yard for little one's to play in. Well equipped kitchen. A few essentials left for us on arrival, milk, bread ect, even a couple of bones for a dog :) which was a lovely touch. The only criticism ( Sorry) is that we had to empty all the bins and strip the beds which I would have thought should have been included in the price. Over all a lovely place to stay. X

Lovely cottage, amazing welcome pack too!

We enjoyed watching the Swifts leave the nest above the back door, rabbits in the back field and birds bathing in the water bath and feeding from the fat balls left for us to put out, we also loved walking in the nearby woods and seeing the many fallow deer wandering around, the bats were beautiful to watch in the evening as was the huge owl that flew accross the back garden...all in all we had a really great, relaxing week at Chippers and would love to visit again very soon!

Fabulous cottage, welcome pack amazing and very welcome after a long journey.

We had a fabulous time and weather amazing. All very comfortable and clean, lovely garden, really recommend this cottage, we hopefully will be back again!

Great place to stay

We had a fantastic stay at Chippers Cottage.

The cottage was very clean and well prepared with a very generous welcome pack. The small village is really quiet with ideal country walks from the door that suited our two small dogs. Woodhall Spa is on the doorstep with lots of amenities for our holiday. We particularly enjoyed the Kinema in the Woods. The owners have done a great job of making it an enjoyable holiday.

We had a lovely few days, thank you.

There had clearly been a lot of thought and attention to detail put into the cottage. We were very comfortable, and the cottage was clean and well equipped. The welcome basket was well thought out and generous. The gardens were beautiful, although the weather wasn’t quite warm enough to eat outside during our visit - I can imagine in the summer months it would be delightful to do so. The dog had a great time too and was very impressed with his own biscuits!

Beautiful place to stay.

Quiet, clean, fully equipped kitchen with a nice welcome basket and even included some bathroom toiletries. We took 2 dogs and the court yard was fully secure for them to be in on their own. The hedges in the bigger garden need some wire mesh putting at the bottom as my escape artist beagle found some holes to sneak through. Really close to drive to Woodhall Spa which has some beautiful shops, cafes and nice pubs. Very nice trip to the Teahouse in the woods (a few times

Fantastic cosy cottage, immaculately clean and beautifully decorated, everything you need and more catered for,the welcome hamper, milk, cheese, fruit and flowers were a lovely thoughtful touch, garden immaculately maintained and secure for our two dogs,a perfect home from home,we didn’t want to leave!

But will definitely be back, highly recommended."

Really lovely cottage, outdoor enclosed gardens and gated patio area were ideal for our large dogs.

Great facilities at cottage especially in the kitchen and the seperate utility was ideal. Nice and clean all through. Lovely quite area with nice walking opportunities and close to many little towns, Woodhall-Spa just a few minutes drive away with couple of small supermarkets and lovely shops and restaurants. Pubs and restaurants around fill up quickly so best to book ahead. One negative is the kitchen tap drips continually, losing a bowl plus a day, not great environmentally and a bit annoying!

Lovely cottage in a great location for touring

This was a very comfortable well equipped cottage , immaculately presented and in a lovely setting.

We will be back

Great cottage, very quiet!

A fabulous cottage, very comfortable and well equipped.

The owners were extremely helpful. A good secure garden for the dogs, plenty of room for 4 adults and comfortable beds. This cottage is in a beautiful area, with really helpful neighbour's that all came out to help when one of our dogs escaped (our fault, the gate was open). Would definitely stay again.

We have just returned home from a fabulous week!

This holiday was a trip down memory lane for me and it certainly gave me back some fabulous memories! Our stay at Chippers was great! Very well equipped property it had everything we needed! I have a few negatives to add but the positives are so good it wouldn’t stop me staying again! My only complaints are : the cleaning could of been a little more spot on! I noticed a fair few cobwebs around the house, like you do in every house but maybe I’m just picky, the air fresheners in the property were either full but didn’t work or empty. This meant after being out all day we came back and it smelt very stuffy and shut up…not fresh.. The towels provided were very generous but they were towel that didn’t dry well…you know like new towels???!!! Also the toilet roll holder felt a good reach away from the toilet! Ok for me but impossible for my little one. One bedside lamp didn’t work, and the lamp in the living room wouldn’t turn on, and we had a drippy tap in the kitchen sink. These are just my observations. I know it’s a holiday home and you put up with some things as it’s only temporary accommodation and these may seem like silly comments but just little things that caught my eye! Can’t fault anything else! The garden was well kept, a lovely hamper with bread, crisps, biscuits (Thankyou) a bottle of lemonade, very much appreciated! Beds were lovely and clean. Area was lovely and quiet (we did have a big yellow eye sore skip outside for most of the week but that can’t be helped as it was for a property across the road). As I said my negative comments are not really major faults just a few little things I feel could be changed to make the property so much better and it wouldn’t stop me staying again !

Wouldn't class as 4 star more 3.

Bedding dated, toilet brushes need changing and bath handles needed cleaning.

Nice cottage, set in a great location.

We did enjoy our stay at Chippers Cottage.

Lovely welcome pack, and for a 2 bedroom house there was plenty of space for us and our 2 dogs. There was plenty of cupboards in the kitchen but they were nearly all full with utensils so there was not much cupboard space for our food and the dogs food. We had some lovely walks in the surrounding area and it would have been a lot better if it hadn't kept raining. A very peaceful and relaxing little village. I would recommend.

We had an extended stay at Chippers Cottage due to house sale.

Everything was perfect for us and our two big dogs. The owners were great and made us very welcome. Everyone in the village was very friendly and we felt very much at home. We would highly recommend staying at this cottage and you will not be disappointed.

would highly recommend this cottage.

lovely welcome pack on arrival. very clean and comfortable accommodation. would definitely book again if in the area

Very cosy and comfortable cottage, in a lovely little village, the Welcome Pack was excellent, one of the best we have ever had at a holiday cottage.

A lovely part of the country, quite central to all parts of Lincolnshire, and a really nice pub 5 minutes away called The Village Limits, good food.

We were originally booked for April at Tattershal lakes because of COVID this was rebooked for October .

The owner then withdrew the property so Sykes found us Chippers cottage . Great communication from Sykes . We had a really good time , beautiful cottage , immaculate throughout and very comfortable. Five star property. Warm home from home . An unbelievable welcome pack and extras . Couldn’t think of anything we would need that wasn’t there.

Great time in this cottage.

Very relaxing.

Lovely cottage, peaceful, comfortable, excellent base for Lincolnshire.

A delightfully presented cottage in a peaceful village location.

We would heartily recommend it to anyone who wants a relaxed time in this lovely part of Lincolnshire - and many thanks to the owners for the gifts of food and drink they left for us, as well as all the thoughtful extras that the cottage contained!

5* 10/10 one of the best places I've stayed from the little touch's from the owners to the dog friendly garden and appal parking .

lovely area to visit for dog people café, shops, beach's etc. defiantly going in my too visit again places .

Lovely cottage, very clean and equipped with everything you need and more, superb welcome basket too!

Good cottage with more than you could wish for comfortable warm nice environment the only thing I would suggest is a corkscrew as when you’re on holiday most people would like a nice glass of wine.

The only niggle was we were cold.

The heating is set at 18 degrees without any other heating source.

Lovely tranquil spot.

We were there to see family that we hadn't seen for 30 years. Loved nearby Woodhall Spa and preferred the peace of Chippers to a busier Woodhall so would definitely stay again and recommend. Heating system much appreciated but unusually for us you could hear the water travelling through it most of the time, which we found a bit distracting. Maybe needs attention? Welcome pack the best we have had anywhere and very much enjoyed and appreciated, particularly when arriving late with no idea of where anything is. Many thanks.

House was great.

Felt right at home. Welcome package was unexpected but great and the fact that it was local produce even better. I would say that the heating timing needs a review. It appeared to be 12 hours out of sync.

A very generous welcome pack awaits visitorswhich is much appreciated.

The surrounding countryside is idea for long or shorts walks and generally so much to explore in a great area, we shall be back without doubt.

The fabulous cottage!

Really is home from home fantastic welcome pack, flowers, fruit, provided everything we needed, and lots of lovely walks with my dog

A lovely cottage.

My only suggestion is that it could perhaps benefit with an outside light for the courtyard area for when you go to the utility room etc though they have provided lots of torches. Everything else was excellent.

As dog owners lighting at the rear of the property would help with pets evening bathroom visits.

Fabulous cottage in a rural quiet village, no street lights.

We loved our stay at Chippers and going home came around far too soon. The owners have put a great deal of thought in to supplying everything you need for a very happy and comfortable stay. The welcome pack far exceeded our expectations and was greatly appreciated. The beds were very comfortable and plenty of storage space for all your clothes, with both wardrobes and sets of drawers in each room. The lounge was great with two lovely sofas and plenty of dvds to keep you occupied on an evening. The outside was great for the dog, enclosed safe garden, laid to lawn and two patios with chairs and table. Laundry room (although we didn't use) looked great with washer/dryer and ironing facilities. Outside toilet also a bonus for when you are sitting outside. All in all we would go back tomorrow and were sorry to leave. Thanks for everything.

been here 3 or 4 times now , lovely place to relax.

There is everything you need to enjoy a holiday and the peace and quite was perfect. we will be back.

Amazing welcome basket!

Lovely, comfortable and characterful cottage and secure dog friendly garden (although our dog didnt really enjoy the long walk over deep gravel to the grassy bit at the end!) and it would have been nice to have a couple of chairs to sit on down there (beside the swing seat) but cant really grumble overall. Perfect for a long weekend break!

After a rather tedious journey to Stixwould (to avoid heavy congestion on the A1) we were pleased to find Chippers clean, comfortable and cool after a hot day.

The welcome hamper was great and it was good to have a dog proof garden, although our dog was very interested in the rabbits in the field! An enjoyable week which went all too quickly!

Chippers cottage was ideally placed for us.

We visited Louth, Thorpe Visitors Centre, Skegness, Cleethorpes ,Mablethorpe, Sleaford, Woodhall Spa. The cottage has a large amount of land , which our two collies loved. We have posted our holiday photos on Facebook, and we have highly recommended Chippers cottage. We have used Sykes numerous times , this cottage is by the best to date.

Was a beautiful clean well maintained cottage, lots of lovely dog walks nearby, will definitely be coming again, in our time of trouble when our car broke down the owners went to the shop for milk!

We had a lovely hamper! And enjoyed our stay very much

This is a charming cottage that is equipped with everything you need.

A lot of thought has gone into this cottage to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The garden is suitable for children to play and the more elderly ones to sit and sun themselves in the sun trap. We just love it.

We had a lovely weeks break with our 2 dogs.

We have family in the area and have visited before but not had chance to explore before and there's lots to do within a few miles and some lovely woodland walks with the dogs! The cottage was lovely, clean, comfortable and loads of space. Well stocked bathroom and a lovely welcome basket. We would have no hesitation in booking the cottage again.

This cottage is a little gem tucked away in the Lincolnshire countryside.

Warm and cosy with comfortable beds and tasteful decor. The welcome flowers/fruit/groceries were a lovely touch. The cottage has all the facilities you could need and the garden area is safe for dogs to wander. ( although we have 2 Mini Dachshunds who would have got under the gate if we weren't watching!) Local walking is great. Plenty of places to eat within a 20 minute car journey. What would have been useful was a list of places to shop/eat/drink/visit? We used our phones but not everyone does. We would certainly book this cottage again and recommend it to anyone wanting to explore lincolnshire.

Our second visit to chippers cottage everything you need is here ,highly recommend xx

The cottage was quaint but very well presented and thoughtfully stocked with the welcome pack.

Homely and most comfortable we loved it.

Welcome Pack was fantastic.

The cottage was beautifully decorated and furnished.

We liked it so much we are hoping to return to the cottage next year.

This is a lovely cottage, it’s comfortable and the owners have thought of everything.

It was nice that they had left milk bread plum loaf etc. We will definitely be booking again in the future.

Cottage beautifully done lots of little extras ie.

friut flowers.&Welcome pack.Excellent. Just one minor thing.Definatly needs a normal size fridge freezer. One provided is under counter fridge freezer just a little too small.Have a perfect place for one even if just a freezer in Laundry area which was fantastic. Would Definatly Return. Met Will who was lovely and very helpful.

Everything had been thoughtfully prepared and the house was a lovely cozy home for a week.

Clean and comfortable with plenty of car parking space and the owners have gone that extra mile with some lovely touches, thank you for a very comfortable stay and would definitely return.

This is a charming cottage.

It is so well equipped with little extras thrown in. My husband and I loved it and hope to return in the not too distant future.

We really enjoyed our 2 weeks we found it very quiet and peaceful and very well equipped the welcome pack was really good the utility room was brilliant the outside space very big we would have liked a bigger fridge & freezer but apart from that we really enjoyed it would definitely recommend this cottage & would go back again plenty of places to visit & Jubilee Park worth a visit & cafe very good Many thanks to Julie & Dave for renting out their Property Elaine & Bryan Rucastle

We loved this cottage ,photos do not do it justice it is much nicer ,the gardens are lovely so secure if you have a dog .

Welcome pack is the best we have ever received ,we met the owners and they were friendly and welcoming ,we are already looking at booking this cottage again .

Lovely Cottage everything you could possibly think of, very generous welcome gifts.

. just a little bit remote would have liked a pub within walking distance, but everything else perfect

The cottage and gardens were lovely.

The only negative is that there was a problem with the drain. Every time we used the kitchen sink the drain overflowed into the back yard. I phoned the helpline on Saturday morning and left a message. I expected a call back but no one called. Another issue was the DVD player came up “disc error” when we tried to use it Overall the cottage exceeded our expectations with all the extras we didn’t expect such as a filled fruit bowl and a welcome pack. We would certainly return to this cottage.

The cottage was lovely and well equipped ; the welcome pack was exceptional and even fresh flowers were provided.

We loved visiting Woodhall Spa and the National Trust property at Tattersall was well worth a visit-take a picnic.

Contacted Sykes cottages to say had left some items behind.

Leanne on live chat helpful and promised to contact owner so we could collect. Still waiting to hear but will do soon hopefully

The cottage is even nicer than the photos show.

Everything is provided and all of top quality. Even a bowl of fruit. I can only echo what others have said, the cottage is lovely. We were very lucky with the weather and almost lived in the first courtyard, the patio was good too and the garden a very good size and private. We had a lovely week enhanced by the cottage and it’s environs. The walk along the railway was enough even for a Labrador and a Breton spaniel. I would love to go again and I’m sure we will. Locals friendly too.

Chippers served us very well.

We found it well equipped, pleasantly furnished, comfortable and clean. The 'welcome pack' was the best we've experienced. With a small closed gated 'courtyard' plus a secure garden and neighbouring field it was ideal for our Labrador. Our only query with the booking was that we could find no reference to limits around arrival and departure times, so we arrived and departed at our own convenience and saw no one, so that seemed to be ok. Thank you.

Lovely, well maintained cottage in a peaceful location.

Attention to detail and all the little extras made it a home from home experience.

Lovely property, very warm and comfortable.

Bedrooms and Bathroom well furnished Lots of space in the garden for our Jack Russell to explore. Just a shame rain prevented us from enjoying the patio area .
