We arrived at Pendockie shortly before storms Austen and Boelo did!
The cottage was warm and welcoming and we were very cosy throughout our stay. We quickly settled in. The layout is good and the heated porch particularly useful for our wet coats and towels etc. needed for two dogs. There were thoughtful touches such as fresh flowers and wine in the fridge that were much appreciated. Just outside the gate is an extensive area available for dog walking which added to the peaceful stay that we had been much looking forward to. We thought it a delightful place. Thank you John, and your cleaner David. We are planning a return sometime next year.
This little getaway was lovely All we needed was supplied, little touches like fresh flowers from John's garden plus the welcoming bottle of wine.
John's was on hand if we needed anything (which we didn't) al was kept nicely. A short drive too local shop. My 2 dogs had a lovely time.

Beautiful location, cottage clean and well equipped. Dog friendly as described. Welcome pack was much appreciated, Handyman checked in with us and advised us on facilities for us and the dogs. We didn't see another soul all weekend so was a perfect stay for the dogs and us.
