The property

The Ingle is a lovingly renovated fisherman's cottage nestled on 'The Rock', a historic conservation area above Barmouth's seafront.

The cottage retains much of its original charm with exposed stone walls, flagstone flooring and exposed beams, allowing you to make the most of a romantic retreat.

The heart of the cottage is the open-plan living room with a well-equipped kitchenette, perfect for preparing a light dinner for you and your other half, with a bespoke dining table for you to dine at and a cosy sitting area in which to later relax.

There is a Smart TV and a flame-effect electric fire, handy for those wintry months.

The large glazed doors ensure that you have stunning views of the Mawddach estuary and mountains beyond.

Head upstairs and you will find the bedroom with an en-suite, where you can enjoy a lie-in or wake early to a refreshing shower before seeing the local sights and exploring the wider region.

At the front of the cottage is a charming sun terrace with outdoor seating, ideal for those long summer evenings where all you want to do is sip a glass of wine and catch up on a good book.

The cottage is ideally situated for Barmouth with its wide selection of shops, pubs, restaurants not to mention the stunning beaches and the various coastal and inland walks.

There is plenty to keep you busy nearby, just a short drive away is the Coed Y Brenin Forest Park with its mountain bike routes and walks or you could try the historic town of Harlech with its cliff-top castle and the pretty market town of Dolgellau.

The Ingle is just what you have been looking for.
