  • "What an amazing house, felt so relaxed as soon as we arrived."

Perfect location, a few minutes walk from the harbour, beach, shops and pub. The views are just stunning from the living room, dining room and bedrooms. The house is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. Especially loved the welcome pack, a lovely touch. The bed was so comfortable and we slept so well the whole holiday. It’s definitely the best place I’ve stayed in Barmouth and hope to stay again. Are a few steps to climb but worth it to get the views. Definitely felt fitter by the end of the holiday :)

  • "Windycroft was a wonderful place to stay."

Views were amazing. The property was very clean, and provided everything we needed for our stay. Communication with Dan was brilliant and we wouldn't have hesitated in contacting him if we had any queries. We didn't need to as it was so well organised. Probably the best place we have stayed in. As described and better. The welcome items were a lovely additional touch. Would definitely recommend.

Thanks Maria, we appreciate hearing great feedback . So pleased you found it as wonderful as we do. Property Owner

  • "Had a fantastic few days at Windycroft, and as one review has already noted, it’s even better than the pictures!"

The view is breath taking, so close to town one way down the steps, and up the steps fantastic walks. Good mix of pubs and restaurants, shops and beach that goes on for miles. Dan was super helpful, and responds very quickly if any questions, and had good knowledge about the area and what to do. Would definitely recommend and hope to visit again.

So glad you enjoyed your stay and pleased to be able to help. Thank you for the lovely feedback Property Owner

Such a beautiful house in a stunning position. The views were spectacular. Everything has been thought of, the extra touches such as dog dishes and even dog shampoo were great. The welcome basket was a real treat also, thank you! Windycroft was so comfortable we didn’t want to come home. Would definitely recommend, 5*

The property was just as described and was lovely and clean. The views from the property are well worth the climb up the steps and the location gives great access to the local eateries. The communication from Dan was great and the welcome pack was much appreciated.

  • "Had a fantastic stay at Windycroft with the family & found it a great place to relax, unwind & be creative."

The house views are stunning, the interior is super clean, extremely comfortable & it has everything you could possibly need. The property is very quiet, feels remote & yet is less than 5 mins to a good selection of pubs, cafes & shops. Dont be put off by the steps or the slight walk to the long stay parking - the house situation & outlook more than justifies these very, very minor inconveniences. Communication with host Dan was warm, informative & non-intrusive (via email, SMS & phone) & was a great example of personal customer service. Myself, wife, kids & dog can’t wait to return ;)

Thanks for the great feedback. Always happy to help and look forward to welcoming you again in the future Property Owner

  • "Such a wonderful property in an ideal location in an ideal location."

The house itself is well furnished with some thoughtful touches throughout. The views are stunning from the front of the house and we spent every morning and evening just watching the boats bobbing about in the harbour. Yes the steps up to it aren't ideal, but it's not that many and completely worth it when you get to the top, I counted 42, so not that many really. We used the parking permit to park on the large carpark near the beach which is a welcome addition to our holiday not having to pay for parking. We also used it when we went visiting other towns by using the list that was given to us, proved very helpful and is a thoughtful touch to be included in the stay at this property. Overall we were extremely impressed with our stay and the hosts were very helpful and communication was great. We look forward to visiting again soon. X

  • "Had an amazing time here, very comfortable and gorgeous views."

We have stayed in Barmouth every year for the last 4 years and this is by far the most reasonable, best value for money property that we have stayed at and you'll be hard pressed to find better views. The owners were great and efficient and really welcoming. The gift pack on arrival was a lovely touch. Everything you needed was available at the property too that you could need. Don't be put off by the steps, there are only a few and it's totally worth it!

Thanks for your great review. Totally agree the views make the steps worthwhile :-) Property Owner

We couldn’t be happier with our stay at Windycroft. The photos online don't do the place justice. The views are absolutely stunning and the decor in the property is beautiful. Our host was incredibly helpful, great with communication and provided really useful information regarding the area. Would 100% recommend. Thank you.

  • "My two sons and I had a lovely week at Windycroft."

The house was very clean, homely and had everything we needed. The views were amazing, they look good on the photos but are even better in real life. We loved sitting on the seats outside and watching out over the harbour and town below. The house is just around the corner from the Barmouth bridge and one of our favourite days out was walking across it to Fairbourne spending the day there and then getting the train back. Even on our one rainy day we didn’t feel like we were missing out by staying in as it was so cosy sitting and looking out of the windows. I think it would be a good house to stay in at any time of year. Yes there are steps up to the property but the views you get once up there easily make up for this and if you carry on up the steps there are walks you can go on and even more extensive views. The owner was very helpful and responsive and we would definitely stay again.

Thank you for the lovely comments, I’m so glad you enjoyed your stay and loved the house as much as we do. Property Owner
