The secret garden ceylon was a lovely place to stay the hosts Rachel and Rob were very accommodating and were very helpful.

The pub served a good selection of food .the cabin itself was very comfortable and can easily accommodate 4 people it was well equipped, although the fridge has no ice box and some things cld do with replacing. the shower rooms wld benefit from a shelf or something to put toiletries on instead off the floor and it wld have been a bonus if there wld have been a mop and bucket and a proper broom not just a dustpan and brush to keep the cabin clean there was also nowhere to air or dry clothes unfortunately we were plagued by flies and other creepy crawlies the space outside the cabin had a nice seating area with table and chairs and flames in the table. the chairs cld have done with a good clean as cld the outside of the cabin. the area is very tranquil with flowers and shrubbery it was still overlooked by the other cabins but once the shrubs establish it will be better screened. I think it wld benefit from a hot tub in the opposite side to the table and chairs. theres a lovely water feature in the centre of the cabins and it really adds to the experience also the path is stoned which wasn't very good for the dog the actual door into the garden is quite heavy but its an amazing experience once U've entered it .

The journey to Barmouth takes you through some of the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen! We really really enjoyed our little break.

Positive - great location and a practical lodge with lovely gardens, water feature and fire pit table.

So relaxing with nice loop walks locally. In the gardens of a pub with a lovely cafe/shop just a short walk away. Negative- cleaning below par dusty skirting boards and kitchen needs a deep clean. Grout broken and sharp in shower floor. Disappointed when attached to a hotel when charged for a change of towels mid week.
