It was very scenic and is exactly how it is advertised, The little lambs really made our stay, they’re so cute and funny to watch! The hobbit house was cozy and spacious and the whole experience was a breath of fresh air and I can’t wait for my next visit!

  • "Only just got home and already want to go back."

What a beautiful place, the surroundings are breathe taking, surrounded by hills and fields you can’t help but feel relaxed, away from the everyday hustle and bustle. What an Actual hidden gem.. The hobbit hole is simply amazing, so cosy and perfectly set out. The lounge with the massive tv is perfect for movie night and the hot tub was a nice bonus after some walking days out near by (make sure you visit hafren forest and Lake Vyrnwy, the raven inn is close by too and they serve some tasty food. Shrewsbury is a short drive away and a lovely day out. The boathouse also does the best roast dinners) Welcoming gifts added that extra kind gesture from the owners. Also on-site is the spa. We booked treatments while we were there and so glad we did. Leah was lovely and the spa day ended our mini break perfectly. Thank you so much xx

  • "Absolutely loved our 3 night break here."

The surroundings were idyllic with the most beautiful views to wake up to outside. The property was cosy and the decor has inspired me to come home and change my bedroom so that I can feel like I’m there all the time!! We loved the hot tub, which was perfect to come back to after we got soaked cycling round one of the local lakes. There’s so much to do and explore round the area, take note if some of the local attractions in the welcome folder as they are well worth visiting. We will definitely be back and are already looking at dates - thank you so much for creating such a beautiful place to relax and unwind which is just what we needed.

  • "The accommodation was lovely in beautiful surroundings."

We were the first guests to stay here and we had a problem with the shower, the owners were extremely helpful and offered us an alternative immediately whilst sorting the issue. The accommodation is spotless and every attention to detail has been thought of. We enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

LLANFAIR CAEREINION

Welshpool 8 miles.

The town of Llanfair Caereinion is built upon the site of an old Roman fort, in the valley of the River Banwy. It is a thriving town built around The Church of St Mary, with a Post Office, two supermarkets, and a selection of three different pubs. The annual Llanfair Caereinion Carnival is very popular with locals, and proceeds through the town with a full parade of floats and dancing troupes, providing a Rio carnival atmosphere. There is a river walk along the banks of the Banwy leading to an Arboretum, containing over 25 different species of British trees, an ideal place to explore before stepping back in time and jumping on the start of the narrow gauge heritage steam railway that runs 8.5 miles west to Welshpool. Welshpool nestles into the upper reaches of the picturesque Severn Valley near the border between Wales and England. This bustling market town is surrounded by rolling hills and glorious unspoilt countryside. There's a unique blend of shops offering arts & crafts, fashion & leisure, fresh produce, and quality pubs and restaurants, as well as the town centre’s restored cock fighting pit and interesting Heritage Trail.
