  • "Everything was great."

Only minor issue was the bed mattress was a bit stiff for my liking and pillows were thin.

  • "Excellent location and garden was superb for the dogs."

No toilet paper on arrival but other than that would recommend.

  • "Lovely accommodation with easy access to lots of beautiful walks and the beach, I would definitely recommend to others and happily come back."

If I have anything negative to say was that previous occupants didn’t pick up after there dogs and we found multiple (at least 7 ) poops

  • "Nice cottage and well equipped and great for dogs, however after a long season of dogs staying it’s now time for a deep clean."

But all in all a nice place.

  • "Arriving Saturday first night in the double bed I got up covered in bites."

Got InTouch with Sykes who got someone round to check the mattress he didnt find anything but came the next day to spray .Skyes surgessted that some thing had come through the bedroom window which is not true because we couldn't have the windows open the traffic noise was bad didn't have a nice stay at all .

Thank you for your feedback, we did send a professional straight across to investigate the mattress in question, and he found no signs of any issues with the mattress, we requested it be sprayed just as an extra precaution, and as we discussed with you at the time all the mattresses were practically brand new and had only been bought two or three weeks previously. No similar issues have ever been reported at the house either prior to your arrival or following your stay. We hope to be able to welcome you back to North Wales soon. Property Owner

  • "The cleanliness of the property wasn’t great, a lot of cobwebs in different parts of the house - particularly upstairs."

Certain areas were also dusty, again upstairs. The areas downstairs and high usage areas were fine - so probably just needs a deep clean. Couldn’t charge EV through the 3 pin plug, this wasn’t referenced in the listing.

Thank you for your feedback, we have asked the cleaning company do a full review and address the issues highlighted. We have also ordered a new bed and mattress for the master bedroom, following feedback on comfort levels, this will arrived 21 August. We are sorry about the lack of EV charge facilities we are on the waiting list for a outdoor charger which we hope will be fitted in the autumn, as we recognise how important this is. Property Owner

  • "The cottage itself and grounds are fantastic and in a great location."

We had a good stay. The garden and hot tub were well maintained. However, general cleanliness was lacking. Under the single beds and red sofa bed were filthy. Cobwebs in corners. Also the master bed was so uncomfortable and my partner and I struggled to sleep most nights. We would return to the cottage and soon if these issues were addressed. We loved meeting and chatting with neighbour, Albert in the morning.

Thanks for the feedback, I’ve asked our housekeeping company to urgently address your concerns. We are glad you enjoyed the cottage and meeting Albert who is a lovely person. We hope to welcome you back in the future. Property Owner

Great parking and access to amenities, walks and beach. We will definitely book again.

  • "The cottage was superb, very charming and well equipped."

The large garden is perfect for dogs and children, very secure too! The hot tub was amazing loved it overall I’ll definitely go again. Only slight niggle was the master bed wasn’t that comfortable but I realise there’s no bed like your own bed is there. So wouldn’t stop me going again. Great cottage and location

  • "House was very homely and it really felt very cosy, definitely a home away from home."

Perfectly situated close to the beach and shops, it had everything that we needed for a relaxing week away with our dogs. Hot tub was amazing in a secluded area of the garden. We would definitely stay here again.

  • "Very enjoyable stay in a nice location."

An ideal base for visiting Barmouth and Harlech. Great secure grounds and plenty of space for the dogs. The hot tub is of good quality and provides for a relaxing hour to rest weary legs. Internally, the cottage is spacious and feels satisfactorily finished (simple but not too simple). It has to be said that the bed was not particularly comfortable however, fine for a few nights but could definitely be improved. Road noise was noticeable, particularly in the lounge, and surprisingly busy for the relatively rural location. Perhaps improved doors and windows to the front could make a significant difference. Just to add I’m not talking town centre levels of busy so don’t be put off by that. Overall, nice cottage for an enjoyable break that is appropriately priced.

Lovely location. Did find a lot of cob webs in the cottage

  • "We had a lovely relaxing week."

The property has everything you could possibly need. The new kitchen (which had just been fitted before our stay) is very well equipped. As mentioned in a previous review the road at the front of the property is busy but the garden to the rear of the property more than makes up for this, it is a wonderful space and very secure for dogs The hot tub was wonderful to relax in after our long walks on the beach. We would highly recommend staying here and will definitely be returning
