  • "A beautiful location ideally situated."

Fantastic house and grounds. Perfect for a larger family gathering.

  • "What a place!"

Beyond our expectations. The nine of us had enough space not to feel on top of one another. Breathtaking views of the sea and a wonderful, big garden for our dog to roam. David and Stuart very helpful and quick to respond to any query.

  • "Holiday exceeded expectations despite awful weather."

The house is lovely, very well equipped with quality fittings. Particularly liked the conservatory, with its comfortable chairs and fabulous views. The walk to the beach is hazardous and takes around 15 minutes. About 100 yards is on narrow busy road with no pavements. However, the beach is beautiful so worth the effort. The owners were charming and provided a very nice welcome pack.

  • "Lots of room in property, excellent gardens for children, great location for beach and exploring this area of mid Wales coast."

Weather was very good for our week. Rooms well fitted out and comfortable. Only improvement would be slightly larger fridge/freezer and cooker as we catered for ourselves in property and had brought lots of food to cook for the 7 adults and 5 children. Would definitely recommend as a location for family holidays.

I didn’t get to meet the owners but my sisters said they are lovely lovely people. We had a lovely week, even had a storm which was lovely to watch from the magnificent conservatory. If I got the chanc, I would certainly go back.

Perfect sunsets and views of the sea from every room, and a large private garden perfect for BBQs and picnics. Fantastic walking and amenities in the area. Overall, just a dream holiday property in a stunning location. Can't wait to return. Thank you.

  • "The house is in a great position above the road/railway, looking out over the dunes to the beach."

10 days before arriving I contacted the owner to ask if it would be possible to have access to an outdoor power point, as we have an electric car. When we arrived we discovered they had installed an outside power point, in a convenient location for both guests and outdoor maintenance. Thank you! We were so fortunate with the weather! (getting to the beach does involve walking along the main road, with fast traffic whizzing past - this was a bit bothersome with young children)

  • "Brynmorwydd is exactly as described but it is difficult to fully emphasise the spectacular location."

Perched on a great vantage point on a hill it overlooks a golf course and the ocean. It takes just 5 minutes to reach the golf course by foot. There are a number of paths across the gold course which takes you onto a sandy beach. When the tide is out the beach is somewhere between 70-100 mtrs wide and you can easily walk 3 kms along the beach towards the town of Tywyn. It you are a group of golfers then it is perfect, if you are a family with a dog it is equally perfect and offers great walks both around the beach area or hill walks behind the house. Coming out of the lock down there were challenges preventing dining out but the local restaurants did some amazing speciality meals for collection and with some astute study of the local shop hours we were never without any essentials. It is less than two hours drive to Llanberis or Pen y Pass so easily allows a climb of Snowdon on the same trip. There are some waves which encourage the surfers but take a wet suit, even on the warmer days there can be a cool breeze as elsewhere ion the UK. Dave the owner is very helpful and down to earth. Fully recommend this cottage and location...!

  • "This house is beautiful, comfy and well equipped."

The hosts, Andy and Dave were very welcoming and couldn't have been more helpful. Everyone in our group had only praise for the stay. Lovely grounds (for the better weather) plenty of accessible parking, great facilities and lots of different spaces for a large group to split up at different times but still able to sit together to watch tv or eat or play some games at the large table. 100% recommendation from us all.
