  • "We had a lovely stay."

The view just can't be beaten. The bed was comfy. Lottie dog enjoyed the garden. The near by beach is worth a daily visit. We hope to stay again. I found the chair and sofa very uncomfortable. A great surprise though was the super WiFi and the Sky Q TV especially as it was the British GP weekend.

  • "Easy to find on arrival day."

Enjoyed staying here, great views, clean and tidy with a very comfy bed. I would happily stay there again. Only two comments, one was the microwave / oven, unable to locate the instruction sheet to work out how to operate it. The other was the fridge which would be a benefit if it had a freezer shelf. Overall a pleasant experience.

The property

Happy Landing is a wonderful seaside cottage set in the western part of the Snowdonia National Park, in the lovely little village of Llanfair.

This traditional Welsh cottage was built in the late 18th century and boasts stunning views of Cardigan Bay and is less than a mile from Llandanwg beach, which due to its location is shielded from the famous Welsh winds so you can enjoy the area even in the off-peak season.

With welcoming accommodation for two people, this could be the perfect romantic retreat for you and your loved one.

Wander through the serene front garden and enter the property into its snug conservatory area which makes for a fabulous spot to sit and admire the coastal views without the brisk sea breeze.

From here, step into the whitewashed cottage and be welcomed in by the homely open-plan living area.

This enticing space is dominated by a magnificent Inglenook fireplace placed next to the cosy two-seater sofa, a fine place to curl up and enjoy an evening in with your other half.

To the other side of the living area sits a charming and fresh kitchen, along with a delightful dining table looking out towards the picturesque coastline.

Take the stairs and be welcomed by the bright and spacious bedroom, a king-size bed is enhanced by dual-aspect windows and benefits from its own refreshing en-suite shower room.

To enjoy this surprisingly mild climate, wander out into the front garden, where a choice of sitting areas display wonderful vistas to sit and admire with a chilled drink.

Llanfair itself provides a café and some fascinating Slate Caverns, while the popular, historic town of Harlech is just one mile away.

This is a fine holiday base dominated by its ancient castle, it also comes with the beautiful Royal St David's Golf Club on it's doorstep.

A further two renowned Links Courses within easy reach make it an ideal destination for golfing enthusiasts.

Nearby there is something to suit every taste, awe-inspiring walking and cycling is available throughout the Snowdonia National Park, a day at the traditional seaside resort of Barmouth is also a must-do.

Bring your loved one to this fabulous seaside cottage to enjoy the rural wonders of North Wales.
