Amazing property.

We were a party of 11 and to say there was plenty of space is an understatement! Loved it so much we've already booked to stay again next year

The house is absolutely stunning, every room is amazing and big in size.

The views from the patio and bedrooms are stunning. The hot tub, the pool room and playing games in the lounge on Netflix, kept everyone of 3 generations happy. The walk to the castle, shops, and a beautiful beach, was a holiday that gave us wonderful memories ❤️

We have stayed in numerous large houses with our party of 12, but never anywhere as amazing as Plas Amherst.

There aren’t the adjectives to describe how wonderful it is - the views when you walk in, the proportions of the rooms and its proximity to wonderful beaches. Sunsets on the patio to die for. It continued to ‘wow’ us for the whole stay! 100% recommend.

The family with 3 generations had a lovely week gorgeous property and plenty of space for us all and was a bonus with great weather and stunning views I would definitely recommend it and stay again.

Beautiful and well appointed house.

The only slight disappointment was a need for extra towels for the hot tub which we’d have bought with us had we known and no welcome pack so again we’d have bought tea/ coffee etc. The front door is extremely awkward as are some of the bathroom door handles. Still would fully recommend

This property is pretty amazing.

Huge, roomy & prefect for a Family of 12. We all had a Fab time. The unspoilt views are stunning. It was glorious to wake up every morning & hear the sea & the birds. My only complaint - well a few: We all found the beds slightly uncomfy & felt the bedding was very old & tired especially in the main bedroom! Not enough towels; there were 2 bath towels but only one hand towel per room? Most of the internal door handles were very stiff & it wasn't easy getting out of the front door - could do with an internal knob to be able to pull the door open once you've turned the latch. Could do with a much bigger dining table - or at least some extra chairs as it only seats 8. We were very disappointed we didn't get a welcome pack especially when there is a picture of one on the Sykes Website & Reviews mentioned it and as it was Easter & for the amount of money we paid. But we would recommend it

We had an absolutely incredible stay, the house is really beautiful and the view blew our minds every time we walked past a window!

The balcony area is fantastic. We loved the open kitchen and it made cooking meals really social as we had a big group. Can’t recommend enough!

The house was amazing.

Our whole family of 8 adults, 3 young children and 1 dog thoroughly enjoyed the weekend. The views were outstanding and we were very lucky with lovely weather.Would highly recommend it.

Fantastic house with perfect views over the beach.

The only only downside was that there wasn't enough serving spoons, or serving dishes, and also in the showers, there was no holders to put shower gel or soap, small things but very necessary. After saying this, we found the house to be extremely comfortable and an awesome view. The welcome hamper is always a lovely touch and appreciated. Highly recommended

We had the most amazing time here from the moment we walked through the door we was lost for words with how stunning it was it literally takes you breath away, we fell so lucky with the weather too so got to make the most of the garden & hot tub and had the most amazing sunsets every single night, the house has everything you need and is well equipped, the welcome pack is so nice and such a special added touch, the games room was fantastic and waking up each morning to such a gorgeous view is memory’s that will last a lifetime, Thankyou so much we will definitely be back again soon.

Here’s a glowing review for Plas Amherst in Harlech: A Perfect Family Getaway at Plas Amherst! Our family holiday at Plas Amherst in Harlech was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning views and the welcoming ambiance of this beautiful property. The house was immaculate, spacious, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The location is ideal – just a short stroll from the breathtaking Harlech Beach, where the kids spent hours playing in the waves and sand. We also loved exploring Harlech Castle, which is steeped in history and offers incredible views of the coastline (the cafe isn’t bad either). The attention to detail in Plas Amherst is remarkable. Every room is thoughtfully decorated, making it feel like a true home away from home. The kitchen was fully stocked, allowing us to enjoy family meals together with ease. The outdoor space was perfect for evening barbecues while soaking in the picturesque sunset. We couldn’t have asked for a better holiday experience. Plas Amherst exceeded all our expectations and provided the perfect setting for unforgettable family memories. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful holiday in Harlech! Thank you to the owners for such a fantastic experience.

We had the most wonderful stay at Plas Amherst over Christmas and the owners were very helpful prior to our stay answering our questions and during our stay when we had an issue.

The house itself is very grand with big open rooms and the most amazing views (when it wasn't foggy!). It is tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and you can tell it had been recently refurbished. The kitchen was huge and spacious, the lounge had a wall mounted tv where you could log in to your own TV apps and very comfy sofas. The highlight for my 2 sons was the hot tub which we all enjoyed using during our week there, as well as the pool table in the games room. Bedrooms all had en-suites which were lovely although we did have a problem with one shower and the water temp. Someone came out as soon as I notified the owner and fixed the water temp but unfortunately the shower had a fault and couldn't be fixed. The only things that I would recommend changing/adding to enhance the property would be: - More knives in the kitchen, including a bread knife - For the 3 existing knives to be sharpened - A few more smaller cooking bowls/dishes - A sieve - Luxury soap in bathrooms not cheap soap - Plush bath sheets rather than cheap thin small bath towels. Overall though we had a fantastic family holiday and would highly recommend :)

Three small gripes 1 no starter log package provided.

2 The round handles on the doors are difficult to turn for ladies / older persons ( perhaps levers would be better ) This has caused the inside handle screws on the downstairs loo to be loosen. 3 The front door could do with a pull handle on the inside ( door difficult to open from the inside )

we recently stayed at Plas Amherst for 3 nights and it was nothing short of spectacular.

It has everything you need and is so spacious with spectacular views from almost every room. The kitchen is large and well-equipped and the underfloor heating is amazing. The hosts were incredibly accommodating, responsive, and ensured our stay was seamless from start to finish. we cant recommend it enough! 5/5 Stars!

Very enjoyable holiday.

Just one or two extras would have helped like a mirrors in the bedrooms and towel rail in bathrooms especially the cloakroom downstairs also the door knob in cloakroom we got stuck in it more than once . Beautiful house the views were marvellous and the sunsets were to dye for

Well equipped and large property, perfect for large families.

There is a great space for kids and dog to play outside safely and the view is gorgeous. We did have a power cut which meant kids and baby couldn’t have lunch or bottle, but this could happen anywhere, it did take 5hrs to fix which i feel could’ve been improved, Menai were difficult to get through to. There was no stairgate for my toddler even though I had requested one, and the hot tub was too cold to use on the first night. Small issues though, not complaints. Would stay again as was comfortable and large property.

! What an amazing place in an amazing location. I have a saying, which my family always make fun of, which is "it's all about the vista". Well a truer word was never spoken based on the experience of Plas Amherst. We all loved it, and the property was finished to a fantastic standard. A great place for a vacation and to refresh the batteries.

The house is beautiful and was such a lovely place to spend new year, from the ages of 16- 70 you catered for us all, even the dog! The pool room was a big hit with the teen! If only the weather could have been better we would of had it all haha xx

The house is very spacious and perfect for big families, we all felt very welcomed. While we stayed here we explored the area and had a good time at Harlech castle. We went pony treking which was very fun and two of our groups climbed up to the top of Snowdon it was great! We highly recommend the beach of Harlech. It's very fun for dogs, children and adults! Fabulous House!

!! Very clean and comfortable. Beautiful views + to hear the sound of the sea is fantastic. We had a superb week here as a family, enjoyed a train to Criccieth and lunch at Dylans. Celebrated a 40th birthday + a 4th birthday here + loved both. Cool design and a good astro. Thank you
