“A lovely, comfortable place in a beautiful location.”

The cottage was extremely well-equipped but there was no WiFi.! Some people want to get away from such things on holiday but, although we are in our late 70s and early 80s, we missed it a lot as we subscribe to, and download, our newspaper online so had to buy one! We also like to look up local information such as restaurants etc. We would probably not go back because of it, and it must be a negative for younger people! ...

The other downsides were not being able to open the windows, due to secondary double glazing, and the fact that hand towels were not provided. However, apart from the above, a really nice cottage, and we felt very much at home. We forgot to leave a gratuity for the cleaner but arranged for a friend - who lives in the High Street - to drop one into Bron Castell’s’ post box with a note of thanks from us. June Taylor

Thank you for your feedback and glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay at Bron Castell. Wi fi is not currently available at the cottage - as was stated in the Sykes description- but there is a good phone signal in the area and usually 4G signal can be found. We are, however, looking to install WiFi in the next few weeks for the benefit of our guests. Plenty of towels are provided and we are sorry that you were unable to locate the hand towels. We are also sorry that you were unable to open all the windows. We are always happy to help guests with issues like this if only they would contact us during their stay. We are sure though that you found the stable door into the kitchen diner provided plenty of fresh air during the hot summer days . We hope that we can welcome you back to Bron Castell in the future. The property

Bron Castell is a family holiday cottage located in the historic village of Harlech in Snowdonia.

Boasting views of Harlech Castle, the dunes & the sea beyond, this is a brilliant base for your holiday in North Wales.

It’s even just a two minute meander on foot to Harlech’s shops, restaurants, bars and cafes. Inside, the farmhouse style kitchen has a quirky baby blue Rayburn cooker, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave, washing machine.

There is also a farmhouse dining table & chairs, as well as a CD player, perfect if you like to listen to music whilst you cook or eat!

Get an al fresco dining experience indoors by opening the stable door - let the sea air can flow through. The sitting room is a good size and has an open fire to keep the chill out of the air on colder evenings.

There’s a TV with Freeview & DVD player.

You can also make the most of the DVDs, board games and a great selection of books. On the first floor there are two large bedrooms, both with king-sized beds and sea views.

One of these bedrooms has an ensuite bathroom with a shower, loo, wash hand basin.

The family bathroom is on the first floor with a loo, wash hand basin, heated towel rail and bath with shower over.

Bron Castell also has a small garden at the side of the holiday cottage with garden furniture where you can sit and marvel at the glorious sea views out over the bay.

There is private parking for two cars at the back of the holiday cottage.

A ten minute walk and you could feel the sand between your toes on a Blue Flag beach, or lay siege to majestic Harlech Castle.

Have a cuppa and a cake in Cafe Llew Glas on the pretty cobbled square and watch passers by, or pop for some tapas in the evening.

If you want to venture further afield, Snowdonia offers incredible vistas, great attractions, wonderful walks and plenty of activities.

The only hardship will be choosing which experiences you want to fit into your trip! There are two further large attic bedrooms on the second floor, one with a double bed and one with twin single beds.
