Lovely small property, very clean & well equipped.

The only problem was that there was nowhere to store food cupboard wise. The bed was very comfy, slept really well. The instructions on how to find the property were very vague, satnav was useful in this case but I also knew the area so had no issues in the end.

Reported a number of issues on our first day of arrival, some were resolved the evening prior to our departure and some never resolved.

TV not working, 2nd remote not connected. Meant we could not watch TV for all 5 days of our stay. Not 1 single bin bag provided, kitchen bin was empty upon arrival. Appreciate not having multiple bin bags but not even 1 to use wasn't acceptable. No washing up liquid. Parking was a major problem for us. We were only able to park outside the property 1 day out of 5. One evening it took us 15 minutes to get parked and this was far away from the house and the car needed moving before 9am which meant an early get up

A small and cosy cottage in the heart of the beautiful village of Harlech.

There were 3 of us, and it was perfect for our needs for a stay for a few nights. The beds were very comfy, and bathroom well fitted out. There is a lot of equipment in the kitchen, making cooking easy. There is no outside space apart from a small space with a table out of the front. The back door area is very uncared for, and felt quite odd, with old rubbish items from the house. This means that there isn't really anywhere to hang up wet beach items/wetsuits etc to dry. A clothes drying rack and a clean of the back doorstep area would make this feel quite different. The back door was both unlocked and left open when we arrived. Parking can be difficult, it's a very narrow lane, and the public parking nearby is paid. However, we had a nice stay, and the village of Harlech is lovely, particularly for a night time walk when all of the day visitors have left.

Shower was a bit weird how it has no door.

The cottage is very well situated to walk to the local shops and cafes and is well designed and equipped but we did experience a few issues on our most recent visit.

I finally managed to get through to Sykes, to speak to someone, as I don't have a smartphone but I had not received a reply a week later. The owner, who I then contacted directly, has been most helpful and has now addressed all the issues I raised and I am now looking forward to my second visit this year. Useful to know is that the bus service, with a bus stop very close to the cottage, is frequent and good value and we both enjoyed the fantastic coastal scenery from the coast road in both directions from Harlech.

Really clean and tidy with everything we needed for a perfect holiday

A lovely break in this cottage which was just the right size for a family of 3 and our small dog.

The bedrooms and the beds themselves were extremely comfortable and we all slept well. Electric radiators were powerful enough to heat each room. A couple of things could have been better - no wood was provided for the wood burner and the only bag we could get hold of from the local shop was damp. Having a log burner was a selling point in winter so it was frustrating to have a burner in the property but unable to use it. There was no visitor info sheet / card with things like wifi code so we had to contact the owner for some info, but they responded quickly. Didn't spoil our stay - just a shame about the burner. Harlech itself was VERY quite out of season, but that's what we were after.

This cottage is lovely, so clean, comfortable and very cosy with the fire on.

The beds were very comfy (I didn't shut up about them our whole trip). We were left a welcome pack of treats, bread, teabags, washing up liquid, toilet rolls etc. Some of it we had already bought as we didn't realise it would be provided. Unfortunately the maintenance company didn't leave any wood and as we arrived on a Sunday evening we couldn't get any until the Monday but I communicated with the owner who got back to me within minutes and was great help. We absolutely loved our stay. Thank you

Beautiful cottage 2 minutes walk from Harlech castle.

1 minute walk to shops and pub.Cottage was spotless and well equipped with everything you need.Log fire was lovely and welcome pack was a nice touch

The property was of high standard in quality of furnishings and cleanliness.

There were very thoughtful extra’s which I was not expecting such as fresh milk, lovely cakes and biscuits. Great location in the heart of the town. The only things negatively I can comment is there was only 1 log for the fire and no washing utensils such as washing up liquid and a cleaning sponge.

There was a leaking Troughing at the rear of the property which constantly drips down over the back door and whilst the constant dripping noise was a nuisance it has started to cause a damp issue around the skirting board inside the property.

Restricted parking was another issue but sadly beyond the owners control, otherwise we had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend to anyone wanting a holiday cottage holiday

We arrived at 21:30 after a 5 hour drive.

There was no toilet roll or soap. Leaving milk and cakes is a nice touch but to not even leave 1 toilet roll was shocking. The 'starter pack' of fuel for the fire was also missing. This was advertised as a feature of the property. There was water running down the back door making an annoying dripping noise constantly. All the above spoil the impact of a very pretty clean cottage

The property was clean, modern and bright.

Thank you for the goodies you left us, they came in really handy. A non-slip shower mat would have been very helpful. Really enjoyed our stay at Henllys.

Lovely cottage with all amenities in a beautiful area.

Stayed at this clean cottage with excellent facilities for two days.

It was seconds away from the main street and 2 minutes walk to Harlech castle. We were lucky to get a parking spot directly outside the house, but it's not the easiest road to do this as it's very narrow and steep. Bed was comfortable and the shower was excellent. Large fridge and good cooking facilities. Would have liked a couple of small tables to put drinks on, but apart from that, a very nice space.
